Tara hooked up with an international movie star at her friend’s summer wedding last year and she spent the next twelve months in a weird, long-distance thing they never defined. Now, they are going for a week-long getaway to the summer camp and it’s the perfect time to set things right.
Or is it?
Tara arrives at the camp convinced it’s her last chance to spend some time with Jeremy before breaking things off for good and going back to the real life where women like her don’t get to keep a movie star in their bed—or their life.
Jeremy thinks going back to the place they’d met is a perfect opportunity to finally talk about their relationship. He wants them to be together for real, he just hopes he can convince Tara it’s worth the trouble.
But with Jeremy’s fame and Tara’s worries about the future, can they build something more than an exciting summer fling?
The book was sweet and simple. The characters were all lovely. There wasn't much plot. The main characters took a week vacation with his movie star friends at a rural resort with the intentions of deciding to go forward with their relationship. Quick read.
I read this book courtesy of the author in exchange for an honest review.
This was a cute, fluffy read about a couple that's very much in love but not quite on the same page about what that entails. The world within it is pure wish fulfillment and the conflict surmountable; this is its own pleasure.
I found the location to be a particular draw, but the characters were enjoyable too.
A good quick love story of 2 people from somewhat different worlds. Both act, but he is a movie star and she’s in Broadway. There was a classic miscommunication trope towards the end. It is always fun to have a light hearted story to mix it up.
I've read a lot off these camp firefly falls books, and this was just as cute as the rest. My deduction is for being a little lost on the back story of these characters. This is definitely just a chapter in a series, and one that I'm not familiar with. A lot of the supporting characters were a bit confusing to me. That's my biggest complaint. I have one other minor complaint, but it's totally just a personal thing, and if I share it, it would be a bit off a spoiler. I kinda hope for another book by this author (after i go find the offer books of this series) and maybe there will be more of Jeremy and Tara
