Catherine has been back for a year. During this time there has been no sign of the men she left behind, who she believes, one way or another, to be dead. To cope she has resumed hunting, taking far too many risks, and spends time running cons to pay for her questionable apartment.
She runs into a familiar face from her past, Colt Springfield, who convinces her to let him help her put things together and find out for certain what happened to Garrett and Mitchell. Things aren’t as simple as they seem and Colt calls in reinforcements, bringing another chapter of Catherines life back to her present.

Hot damn
Better than the first, and left me just a bit thirsty for book 3 to hurry up and come out to play.

The first book was a solid entry to a new series, this book was a fantastic continuation. Cat's back, but what now? Here we learn a little more about her past and there are some pretty big surprises in store.
