Another story from Milana that I wasn’t totally sure I was going to enjoy. Princely vampires and purple faeries aren’t exactly my cuppa. But I ended up being completely surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I appreciated both Maya and Sevile’s characters, and really liked learning about their misunderstanding when he attempted to mate her. Normally I hate the whole ‘we aren’t together because we refused to talk about the misunderstanding’ trope, but it worked with this one. When things went down, Maya was only 16 and Sevile was 20. So, they were both pretty young and neither were experienced. Sevile, feelings hurt, takes Maya’s wings to prevent her from doing any magic. Sevile suffers in his own way because he’s mated Maya and therefore can never be with another. He’s lonely and miserable for the next 9 years. I liked that Sevile didn’t just ruthlessly punish Maya for what she did, and also appreciated that Maya allowed her eyes to be open to a world she realizes she didn’t understand when she turned down Sevile 9 years ago. And the way that Maya gets her wings back actually almost broke my heart. Sevile really puts out there how much he loves and cares about Maya, and we get another swoony HEA from Jacks.
Recommended to anyone who enjoys PNR, and definitely to anyone that has enjoyed any of Jacks’ other works.

I'm not sure what books the others were reading but I loved Mya and Seville! I can't wait to read the next book! Funny,sweet and oh so sexy perfect beach read! I need more! Safe even with 9 years separation!

I really enjoyed this novella. Witty sexy vampire and his funny, cheeky fairy. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed a great PNR read with plenty of humour.

Oh my God... I can't even. Just - ugh. I mean fucking hell. I have read some crap in my time, but this... this is a whole new level of crap. This is mega crap. This is the very pinnacle of absolute SHIT.
Okay, so maybe I brought it on myself. I knew it wasn't going to be up to much before I even read the first sentence, but it was a recommendation and I was able to get it on my kindle for free so I thought, "hey, it's only 75 pages, I can probably suck it up for that long." Hint - I was wrong. There is nothing on this planet that would make me want to read even one more page of this tripe. The world is underdeveloped to the point of absurdity, the characters are a million different shades of ridiculous, the writing itself is exposition heavy and so lacking in any kind of subtlety or finesse that - but for the obvious allusions to sexual content - I would honestly think it had been written by a child... Seriously, there's just nothing redeemable here. I only got as far as I did because I found it funny at first.

Eventhough I love Ms. Jacks' Beast Mates series and Ice Age Dragon books, this one just didn't do it for me. This is just my opinion, so you may fall in love with both characters and the story.
Sevile is a vampire prince that was left at the alter by a fairy princess named Maya. Nine years later they meet again when she comes to his kingdom to get something. She is hidden by glamour to appear human but he sees through it.
I liked Sevile but really didn't care one way or the other for Maya. I realize that this is a short read but it seemed to be missing that something that usually draws me in to the story. This is the first book in this series that I read so maybe I need to read the previous books.

though Vampire Prince Sevile has spent the last nine yrs mated to Fairy Princess Maya he has spent those yrs alone. After biting her at their wedding she refused to marry him not knowing that with his bite he claimed her. In retaliation for refusing him he demanded her wings. Since fairy magic is made possible only with a fairies wings she wants them back and tries to sneak into his home and retrieve them. It was the best thing for them because they were able to bond and open their hearts to eachother.

This is a quick read.
Maya is a brave and determined character to retrieve her wings and love her life as discredited the human world. Sevile is the vampire Prince who has her wings and what revenge for her rejecting him. Both are strong-willed and spoiled. I like the characters and plot. I am no spoiler, but for once I would like to see a heroine day no to something in particular the hero does and not tolerate it. Other than that certain action, I enjoyed this story.

A fun, fast read! I loved this little book, the characters, the story, and the action all combined to make this one hard to put down. Maya is adorable, and she sets off on her mission to get her magic back, no one can stop her. Seville is dark and angry but still hung up on his mate's rejection. They find each other and everything falls apart, or falls into place, depending on who you're rooting for. I loved this one, can't wait to read the next one!

Loved the book and the story. 9 years after a fairy denied marriage to her arraigned marriage Prince of vampires, she has returned for her wings. Her wings were ripped from her body that day and given to the Prince. Read to see if she got them back.

I have to say I'm really enjoying this series.
Its often hard to find paranormal romance that is worthy of reading. Milana Jacks does exacltly that. She does a great job at keeping my attention.

Loved Sevile and Maya!!
I loved the way Maya and Sevile got to know each other again. Also loved the chemistry. I loved that they got their HEA.
