Not bad

I enjoy the this series! I like the concept about him being the only man known to get magic power.

The first book the main character was in half of the
story, but after that he was the main focus of the stories. There were some time Conryu was on my nerves when it came to the professor wanted to write a book on him. I understand that he likes to have a private life and he doesn’t want his power, but he can be more respectful to the Professor. The news reporters I can understand.
I can understand the professor wanted the world to know that he isn’t a nut job and now he had proof. I thought the author miss out a great opportunity to elaborate why the professor believes it was possible their could be a male wizard. It just fell short to me to justify the intensity of the professor reasoning! Be cause there are fictional books on males wizard therefore it’s might be true isn’t enough for me to see his obsession.
Overall this is fun reading with lots of action in this series! The last book was on going action from the start. There are some curse words and not suitable for middle school ages group. My overall rating is 4.5 stars.

Binge Worthy Series

Binge Worthy Series
The mark of death, a goddess on a rampage, an obsessed family that will stop at nothing to get your "genetic material". All Conryu want to do is become a motor bike mechanic, but once the government finds you have power off to The Magic Academy you go. Vampires, Dragon Czar, Religious Zelotos, oh my!

Interesting not great. Rather cookie cutter.

More young adult story. Just too good of a hero without experience to backup his starting success. Characters rather immature even the adults. Most had unrequited lives.

Good YA

An interesting YA urban fantasy based on a unique male wizard when only women could do magic previously. Nothing super special, just a good coming of age story.
