Among the delicacies penned by national bestsellers Naleighna Kai, J.D. Mason, Shakir Rashaan, London St. Charles, and also Sierra Kay, Karen D. Bradley, Anita L. Roseboro and MarZe Scott, are contemporary fiction, suspense, women’s fiction, erotica, and even romance that will warm the heart. This anthology is a perfect blend of authors at the top of their game who have crafted stories that will leave you wanting more. When you’ve satisfied your sweet tooth, venture into our savory anthology, entitled Spice featuring national bestselling authors Pat G’Orge Walker, Martha Kennerson, Lisa Watson and many others.
S.L. Jennings is a proud military wife to her high school sweetheart, a mom of 3 rowdy boys, and a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary and paranormal romance. When she’s not obsessing over book boyfriends, you can find her hanging out with a few epic fictional loves at independent bookstores, or sipping a Bloody Mary at her favorite brunch haunt in Spokane, Washington. She’s a self-proclaimed food snob, makeup junkie and lover of all things shiny, sparkly and kitschy.
Another set of 9 talented authors have done it again with several stories that give you a blend of different genres that will have your mouth wide open in astonishment. If you like a of spice, SL Jennings definitely has the story for you. (more than what I can personally handle) and of course JD Mason truly knocked the story out of the box. I also liked that the main female characters had jobs that aren't typical. Some were powerful CEO's, investigative reporters, lead detectives and so many others. The stories covered blended families, disrespectful family members, child sex trafficking as well as other topics. I liked Naleighna Kai's story not only because the main character bears my name, but the story contained a surprise character from her other anthology story in spice. And several of the stories need to be made into at least a novella, because I need some more info from several of them.
This was a collection of short works produced by a team of authors. I loved the fact that they all are working together to pursue their dreams! Every story was different, and portrayed through each author's lens. Very creative idea.
I never thought I'd read an anthology like Sugar...ever. These short stories were full of plot twists, intrigue, romance, espionage, and so much more. There's something for everyone to enjoy in this literary collection.
I am disappointed in myself for allowing this book to just lay in a bag and not get read. This is a book of many different stories by different authors. Don't think I have ever read a book like this. I can really get into this. My wife has already ordered the other book, "Spice". I enjoyed 99% of the stories. But they all were good. This is really a good book to sit down and enjoy.
