The Four Kings #4

Drenched By Magic

Rate this book
Kyann won't let the Emperor win, whatever it takes.

The souls of Axxon and Rey have been stolen, ripped from their bodies to leave the Emperor free to fulfil his evil ambitions.

But Kyann isn't the frightened girl she used to be. She's grown used to facing danger. If she has to venture into the underworld to fetch back Axxon and Rey's souls, then that's what she'll do.

The decision is easy, the reality harder. Once they cross into the underworld, will they be helped by the goddess, or set back by the fabled soultaker?

Four kings, one girl, and a magical destiny that binds them.

Kyann and the Kings have to fight to be together again and ready themselves for the battle to end all battles. This episode is as exciting as all the rest and a joy to read. More than a series, it is a fantastical saga that includes more than one realm, many magical beings, good and bad characters that are rich and full of life and sooo real, action, murder and mayhem, and love. The Stalwart Emperor still works to destroy the Kings and Kyann battles to keep her Kings safe while they chase down the magical artefacts. And she’s falling a little more in love with each of the Kings. All of this in Katy Haye’s fabulous style. Fabulous!

I'm enjoying this series so much! Katy Haye's writing really keeps you turning the pages until there are none left to turn! The four kings and Kyann are written so beautifully that I find myself wishing the next book would hurry up. Still not a fan of the cliffhangers but I'm making an exception for this series because it's so good. :)

This series just keeps getting better and better. This story sweeps me away and I feel like I am there cheering them on. A very good writing style that brings the reader inside of the story. It is hard to believe that there are still 2 more books as the time is getting short to finish the quest. I am ready to tackle the next book in this great series.
