Very disappointing read.

Both MC's have very dubious morals, and only one of them is "reasonably" honest about it. Adam works for the Mafia, sometimes more willingly than others.

Abel is a PA with an unrequited crush on his boss, Tom, who is not a nice guy and is involved in some shady stuff.

When Abel catches Adam breaking into their office, he is surprisingly quick to trust a burglar and to decide to help Adam to go after Tom. Because why go the police? When you can break the law yourself, aiding and abetting...based on hearsay from a criminal stranger.

There is not much of a relationship or connection between the MC's, which makes this all even harder to swallow.

I struggled to finish this. And I'm a bit sorry I did.

An interesting book the writing was okay. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. This book lacked detail all through it. Which was frustrating because I could’ve liked this book a lot more with the detail. There is only one sex scene and it was like 2 sentences with no detail. The way it was written I could’ve done without it. There was no relationship building either. I found the story and characters likeable. Abel is an Omega and Adam is an Alpha and they are the MC’s of this book. The story idea is great it just wasn’t fulfilled in this book. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Intriguing story with lots of action and great characters! I found this a fun and engaging read, one that i finished in one sitting. The story-line caught my attention from the first pages and i was happily reading to the last page. The plot was fun and had a few really good twists and turns.

Abel and Adam were special together. They were both likable men and as the reader i was cheering for the HEA!

I was gifted this book from the author and i freely give my review.

A captivating story with a great storyline and a slow burn romance between the 2 MCs. Adam has no choice but to help the mafia and Abel is in a perfect position to help him. They have instant chemistry and Abel can't resist Adam's plea for help. I really like that their romance was a slow burn and took a back seat until everything else was resolved. Lots of action and some twists to keep you hooked from beginning to end. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

slow burn with a lot of action an it made me smile. i laughed.. i sighed.. it was all around just a good story with a lot of amazing things happening and i enjoyed the writing.
