Ramey and Tequila. So, it irks me how quickly they fall in love for this series, but I also love the dialogue and intrigue and family dynamic. The bad guy component was fairly obvious, but the lead up to and conclusion was vivid and multi dimensional. The family scene with mom was great and I loved their humor how the mom is getting her wish by the end of each story. A solid and quick read!
Captain Ramey Sarich is a test pilot with the US Army and a graduate of West Point. A bit of a risk taker, he likes to live on the edge and is one of the best test pilots in the Army. He has lived in a converted airplane hangar in New Mexico for the past 5 years. He is very serious about his job and never has time to put any effort into a committed relationship. He comes from a very close family and can always count on his brothers to have his back, which is why he contacts them when one of his test planes has mysterious engine trouble. They can't personally help him so they send another member of the Omega Team, who is also an experienced pilot, and the most beautiful woman Ramey has ever seen. Tequila Ryder attended the Air Force Academy at the same time Ramey was at West Point, and they both became test pilots for their respective services. She is a respected and confident pilot who strives to always remain calm in stressful situations. She has straight blonde hair, big hazel eyes and a brazen attitude. Ramey was late for their meeting but when he walked into the room, his dreamy smile made up for his tardiness. Ramey's light brown hair, tanned skin, and sexy scruff on his chin, give her ideas that have nothing to do with her investigation. She was sent to assist Ramey in determining the cause of the engine failure, not to fall for his mischievous personality and hot body. Tequila has never been in love but she feels an immediate attraction to Ramey, and she is not sure she can control her emotions. Can Ramey and Tequila work together to find out who or what was responsible for the engine tampering? And why would someone want to ruin Ramey's career? Will they agree to take a chance on being together so they can find the happy ending they both deserve? "The Last Flight" is the third book in The Omega Team series by Jen Talty, which revolve around the Sarich brothers, their women and their pursuit of justice. I love this series because it emphasizes the importance of family and how they are always there when you need them. Ramey and Tequila have a lot in common from serving their country to their love of flying. They were always afraid to love and be loved, fearing they would end up alone or hurt. In the end, they realized that it is possible to fall in love when you have the right person beside you. The final book in the series, "The Return Home," is about the youngest Sarich brother Dylan, who is a member of Delta Force .
A test pilot needs help to find out who is making his test flights more dangerous than they should be. Help comes in the shape of a beautiful woman who works with his brothers and was a test pilot herself.
Ramey Sarich likes to push the limits, but when his job is made more dangerous by someone sabotaging the planes he is test driving, he asks to have an independent review of the planes and the flights done. His brothers work for an independent company that can send someone to do the review and hopefully get the answers he is in need of to save his life.
Tequila Ryder, a woman who knows her way around flying and testing planes for the military. She’s the one who was sent to do the review of Ramey’s flights that ended with less than ideal landings. A sassy mouth and an attitude will keep Ramey on his toes. Will she find more than she is planning on?
Ramey and Tequila have an instant heat when they first lay eyes on each other. Can they work together to find out what is going on without letting the heat get in the way? I love Ramey’s reaction to Tequila’s name.
I loved this book, the heat between these two, and the way that they both connected right off. It’s always great when you find the person who gets you and understands your fears, and your way of life. It’s even better when they fit in without trying too hard. These two have that and more. This is my first time reading a Jen Talty book, but it will not be my last. Her writing is great, and the story keeps you interested through the entire book. The hero and heroine in this story are both hot and sarcastic. I loved them both. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Talty’s books.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This encouraged me to read the first two books in the series, but they were not necessary but due to the series nature it helped to understand the other players/family members. The books were on Kindle Unlimited, so I did not mind reading up. Plus, they are all novellas, so they are pretty short. Additionally, I really like this author and have read her NY State Troopers Series, so I was already a fan. This series is interesting and I enjoy the family dynamics of the main and secondary characters. Since they are novellas they are a little shorter than I would normally like, but I think that the author tries to make up for that with the insta-love (or at least sex) that moves the relationship along. I enjoyed the story and the suspense portion that worked well with the characters. Also, the characters seem to have a great understanding about the others' lives that made them perfect for each other and relatable. The plot and conclusion I thought were interesting and wish had been a little longer.
We’re thrust into the action as the story opens. And while it’s not all as adrenaline-fueled as that opening scene, the action and intrigue keep rolling throughout the book. I love that even though the Sarich brothers try to fight love-at-firs-sight, they don’t fight it very hard or very long. Like his elder brothers, Ramey accepts that what is happening is going to happen no matter how inconvenient it is to him. Tequila’s emotional state is almost tragic when she realizes why she’s been resisting true love. This pair of daring test pilots are a perfect match for one another. I love the author’s sense of the absurd when it comes to the humor in this series. You can feel the love this family has for one another in their teasing banter. I’ve loved watching the first three Sarich brothers find their forevers and I can’t wait to see the baby of the family fall in love. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

Ramey after the second bad crash and two near crashes insists on an outside source coming to investigate the accidents. The Omega Team sends Tequila in. When Ramey hears her name, he makes a joke on it not realizing she can hear him. However Tequila turns the tables on him. When he invites her back to his place to look at his private files, they almost crash the helicopter. Ramey tries to keep his distance but Tequila doesn't let him. Their attraction is hot and fast. Ramey ends up breaking all the rules that protect himself and falls fast for Tequila. In the end, his friend is working undercover and his boss is crooked. With the help of his brothers, they nail all the crooks. Tequila reveals that she loves him too. Since neither are fans of big weddings, they elope. They confess this and that Ramey is joining the Omega Team at the family gathering. Tequila reveals that she is pregnant to everyone including Ramey which makes Mrs. Sarich happy. Now only Dylan is single.
Ramey is one of the best test pilots there is. When a couple of "accidents" happen, Ramey suspects foul play and asks for a private investigation. Tequila is sent by Omega Team to investigate. Tequila and Ramey have a lot in common and the attraction is instant. Both agree that a relationship is not what they want. Sometimes what we think we want and what the heart wants aren't the same. Before they can figure out what is developing between them, they must find a way to survive the culprit behind the "accidents". This was a great read. With three Sarich brothers down, Dylan is the last one "standing"- can't wait to read his book.

Gotta go look be it - i st like they say when you are not looking to it - it finds you! High action drama with romance
Ramey is the bachelor brother that got burnt and shut hush heart off to live-action don't let them close and they can't break your heart! Tequila is lead investigator on Ramey case his brothers called in touch o get to the bottom of it. Tequila has Ramey breaking all his rules and he learning she is worth t, but can be convince her? Suspense planes are going down but is it mechanical deliberate? All brothers needed on Thursday s case, love the family brother support. Violence 2, sex2

I really enjoyed the story- it has romance and a bit of mystery going on- who is trying to sabotage the flights and why. I like smart, snarky characters- and yet while snarky they are not mean. There is language typical of so many military men when around each other- if the F word turning up fairly often upsets you, you are not going to like this book. However, it is not used constantly- these characters can have a conversation without it, unlike some people these days, so I found it within my tolerable limits- much more and it would have gone over the top for me- The number of errors in writing was the same - it was close to getting annoying and intruding on the story, so it is a good thing the story was a good one that moved right along.
This is the first book I've read from this author and I have to say it was really an enjoyable story. Ramey Sarich is a test pilot whose last 2 tests ended badly. He believes someone is messing with the planes. He asks for outside help from his brothers company. They send Tequila Ryder to do an outside investigation on the problems with the test flights. This book was fast paced with romance and suspense. Can't wait to see what this author writes next.

This was a fast paced, exciting read. When they find the evidence needed to prove he's not losing his mind, things get intense quickly. Their love was something neither wanted, but it hit them both between they eyes in a hurry. The ending has to be my favorite part though. I am now need to go back and read the rest of this series. Can't wait to see what's happened up til now and what's in store for the future. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Someone seems to want Ramey dead. THERE are just too many accidents with his flights, and he escapes death by the skin of his teeth. He requests assistance from the Aegis Network who sends him Tequila, a woman, not the drink. His boss wants nothing to do with the investigation. He thinks Ramey is paranoid. As always, the Sarich brothers are reluctant to fall in love, but when they do, they fall hard and fast, and without warning.
Ramey is a expert pilot but when his planes start malfunctioning he knows they are being sabotaged. He calls Logan and wants Aegis to look into it. Logan sends Tequila the best pilot he knows besides his brother. Both have had heartbreak and sword of relationships but they can't fight the chemistry. As they figure out what's happening can they form a relationship too?
The Last Flight: The Aegis Network (The Sarich Brothers, #3) by Jen Talty. Even though this is book 3 in the series and I had not read book 1 nor book 2, this was a stand alone story and I picked up the dynamics between the characters and the overall story line without any trouble. I liked the writing style. It has a little bit of action/suspense but overall a contemporary romance story. An easy read. I liked it. 3 stars.
Super cute! While this is the third book in the series it can be read as a standalone, I haven't read the others yet (but I will), I wasn't lost not knowing the previous stories but it will help you know the other characters. Fast read, really enjoyable, and loveable characters! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I loved reading The Last Flight! A quick read with everything you could want in a fabulous story. Danger, intrigue, attraction between two people who believed they were best being alone and just having a fling here and there. Suprise! I can't wait to read more from Jen Tally! I received this book as an arc and voluntarily am submitting my review.
Another excellent book. Ramey is actually still active duty and a test pilot. I loved the Whiskey family was in this book. Loved Ramey, she was something else and also a ex-Air Force test pilot. She's called in as a favor to figure out what's going on with the planes that have crashed or he landed by pure miracle. There's action and plenty of steam. Can't wait for Dylan's story. HEA
I love the Sarich brothers, their strength, compassion, moral compass and their all around badassness. Ms. Talty pens a sassy and snarky group of characters that holds your hearts and wrings your emotions and layers romance like smooth honey! Excellent entertainment.
Love all the characters and the twists and turns. My suggestion however is to tighten up editing as there are words misspelled and incorrectly used as well as some strangely out of place similes. The ending could possibly also have been drawn out a bit more as it contained some lovely surprises.
I loved this book. The story was not only exhilarating, but emotional. I was at the edge of my seat. I could feel my heart pounding as I was reading the words. I could feel myself experience the emotions as I read it. And the ending was a real shocker, really didn't see that coming. Definitely a must read. Next book is #4 (Dylan's story).
Incredible book. Loved every page of Ramsey's and Tequila 's story. Jen has the ability to make the reader become part of the story two, watching as a third person experiencing everything. I voluntarily reviewed an arc copy of this book and it deserves every five gold stars.
A quick and fun read. Good chemistry between the H and h with a nice amount of intrigue. Ending came rather quickly; I would have enjoyed a bit more of the story before the resolution.
I received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review of this book.
What a great read. This is a great series by Jen Talty. Love love Ramey and Tequila. A great name by the way. Amazing characters. Amazing plots. Can't wait for the next instalment of Aegis Network.
Ramey met Tequilla when she came out to inspect his planes. Someone had been tampering with them and had caused him to crash twice. Once they met he took her to his home and immediately went to bed. Then they each explained why they couldn't get involved.
