Baytown Boys #7

Waiting for Sunrise

Rate this book
When the sun rises, possibilities begin. At least that’s what Belle Gunn’s grandmother taught her. Growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, she learned early to hold onto possibilities. Working as a nurse in a nursing home offered little in the way of dating material, until she runs into the new handyman. Handsome, quiet Hunter Simmons. But secrets abound, threatening to pull them apart. Belle must deal with her past, and Hunter must look to the future. Baytown Boys… Military duty called them away to war zones, but after tours overseas, the group of friends found their way back home as men, seeking the peaceful little seaside town. Now, the band of brothers, together once more, work to provide a place for less fortunate veterans to call home. Scenes of a sexual nature and language are consistent with what you would find in an R rated movie. For readers 18+.

As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.

My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.

My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.

I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

I love to hear from readers, so please email me!

I can’t even express how much I love this book! Whenever I think I’ve decided my favorite Maryann Jordan book, along comes an amazing gem of a story that tops the last.

Sweet and shy Belle Gunn is working at a nursing home while taking classes to become an RN. She works hard to make her home and life better than what she was given and is such an open and caring person you can’t help but fall in love.

“My grandma taught me to rise early and wait for the sunrise. She said, no matter how bad life got, God always had the sun rise each morning to teach us that every new day dawning had the potential to be the best day we’ve ever had.”

Hunter Simmons has been wandering a bit since leaving the Navy. He lands a job in maintenance at a nursing home in Baytown. After running into nurse Belle, Hunter is a goner for her! He realizes that he needs to find a way to get his life in order and be deserving of her affection.

Waiting For Sunrise blends swoony romance, heart wrenching emotion, mystery and a touch of suspense for just an absolute perfect story. The only downside was the book hangover I had after I finished reading this story!

Just more of the same

I do believe I reached the end of reading MJ's books. I found that there are a lot of parts that are essentially copy and paste from previous books in the series, which basically makes them super repetitive. I get that it's possibly her attempt at making them be part of a series as well as standalone books, but it's hard to have both. I could seriously take out a few chapters of things that are exactly the same as all the books in the series. Also, there is a lot of inconsequential details that feel like fillers, like they're there just for the word count. A good example ? Well, someone walked into a room and it is described in extreme detail. If it played any part at all in the story to know that the TV was on the left of a couch, then fine, great. However, that is not the case at all. Many things are described in such detail, and if you were to take them out, the story would flow the same way.

I will say that at least in this book, the male MC did seem different than the carbon copies of the other books. Not super different, since basically all her characters are the same but with a different name. The story was nice but predictable, nothing that would leave you with a book hangover. To be honest, these are just getting a little boring for me

The author takes us back to Baytown where childhood friends and new ones come back to town after serving in the military.
Hunter Simmons is a newcomer and a friend of Zac’s, whom he met in the military. Hunter has been working in maintenance at a nursing home but has his eyes on a young LRN named Belle Gunn. She too has been watching him but it wasn’t until they meet by accident, literally, that they start a friendship and something more.
As the story progresses we discover that these two have more in common than they thought.
Belle has had a rough childhood but the teachings from her grandmother have molded her to become an wonderful and loving young woman. A woman that watches the sunrises as an opportunity of something new and as a day filled with dreams and hopes.
That said, I have to confess , I had mixed feelings about Hunter. But things were not always what them seemed .
Once again, the author gives us a story with an engaging plot and complex characters.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Belle is the quiet girl in the Baytown group. She is younger than the others so no one really knows her story or what she went through as a child. Hunter is a friend of Zac, a Baytown Boy, and after Zac invited him to come to the town he meets Belle. Both of them are quiet and have pasts that they want to forget. Maryann Jordan writes an intriguing story of 2 people who meet and are drawn to each other. Throw in some mystery and some twists and you have a great read. I received this as an ARC.

Two lonely souls find a haven with one another. Belle and Hunter have a lot in common and the town they live in is the perfect setting for affection to grow into something warm and long-lasting. It's not a perfect place though, and danger lurks closer than either of them realize. If Belle can't truly make peace with herself and her past and if Hunter can't resolve the problems nipping at his heels none of their affections will have a chance to dig deep and grow into their own happily-ever-after.

Belle is the kindest, sweetest, most giving nurse but all that light came from darkness. Just like the sunrises she watches each morning, she decides to let darkness, disappointment, and negativity be washed away by the promise of a new day, a new start, a new chance to do some good. And when a man shows up that just might be able to add a lot more good to her world she'll find out that it takes more than good thoughts and hard work to make love last. Sometimes dreams might have to change.

Hunter, however, is determined to make sure all Belle's dreams come true. But only if he can work out his own issues. He's got a weight hanging over him that keeps him from going all-in with Belle but he just can't seem to help himself and stay away from her. No stranger to an unfortunate past himself, he finds empathy in and for Belle. Their hearts sink deeper and deeper the closer they get to one another and if Hunter doesn't get his issues sorted all the closeness in the world won't change the dangers and circumstances that could keep them apart.

Both Hunter and Belle were nice characters. They had depth, heart, and strong wills. Together they made an ideal partnership in every way that mattered. I felt for Belle and her struggles with her past. Childhood and adolescence can be tricky and sometimes hurtful periods in life and while many people could easily become bitter, jaded, or hardened I respected and admired that Belle chose to be the wonderful person she was. She was a strong character despite her insecurities and knee-jerk reaction to Hunter's revelation; I enjoyed her because she was multi-faceted and real.

Hunter was more of a mystery because of his specific circumstances but his earnestness and care for Belle showed the heart of a good man. As a partner for Belle he provided support, genuine care and concern, and love. They were well-suited and a pleasure to read about.

While it was a bit slow at first, there were hints here and there that kept the story moving to a dramatic reveal that ignited the romantic conflict between Hunter and Belle. While that was resolved wonderfully by the end, the actual drama, once it was clear that the climax had arrived, was kind of like a firework: big, loud, and attention-grabbing but quickly fades.

The secondary dramatic conflict in the story revolving around their professions was kind of a surprise. I actually didn't see the culprit as the culprit because I was caught up in my suspicions about other characters. Well-played.

All in all I really enjoyed this story. It was sedate most of the time but not boring. There was an incredible amount of tenderness, in fact, that was the most consistent thing in the entire book. I loved how supportive and devoted both Belle and Hunter were of one another. Adding the drama from the nursing home and the trailer park gave even more interest into them as individuals because of Belle's relationship with a young woman and Hunter's possibly shady dealings. A great story with great MC's that earn their place in a series with the other stellar residents of Baytown.

‘Military duty called them away to war zones, but after tours overseas, the group of friends found their way back home as men, seeking the peaceful little seaside town. Now, the band of brothers, together once more, work to provide a place for less fortunate veterans to call home.’

Waiting For Sunrise is the seventh instalment in the Baytown Boys series by Maryann Jordan. Having seen these books pop up on social media and reading my GR friend’s reviews of the series I started collecting the books quite some time ago, but has taken me till now to finally plunge in.
Maryann Jordan’s Baytown Boys series is a 17-book romantic suspense saga that masterfully weaves together themes of camaraderie, love, healing, and personal redemption. Set in the fictional coastal town of Baytown, an idyllic seaside town, this series follows a close-knit group of former military friends who return home from service overseas and strive to create a supportive environment for themselves and less fortunate veterans. Ms. Jordan’s storytelling fuses small-town charm with emotional depth, making the setting a vivid and integral component of her storyline/s.
Each book centers around a different MC, exploring their unique struggles and romantic journeys. The veterans’ experiences and wartime scars are written with sensitivity and authenticity, adding an extra element of emotional resonance to the relationships and characters personal growth.
Ms. Jordan cleverly balances romance with mystery and suspense. From murder investigations to drug rings, each plot includes high-stakes elements that kept me engaged, all while the romantic tension sizzled. But, beyond the romance/s, intrigue, and action - the stories also show the healing power of friendship, love, and a supportive community - which created a warm and reassuring backdrop for the more intense elements.
This series is ideal for readers of contemporary romantic suspense with a military element and small-town setting.
Happy Reading…

Hunter, former Navy, arrives in Baytown via invitation from Zac. Zac, Jason, and Hunter all served together on the same ship while in the Navy. Hunter was released from the Navy earlier than Zac due to an injury sustained in the mechanics room of the Navy ship in which he served. Not having a family or home to return to, Hunter ended up taking a job as a mechanic, earning a degree--all leading to other possibilities. Upon arriving in Baytown, Hunter took a job in maintanence at Careway Nursing Home.

Belle, having grown up in the troubled trailer park, always dreamed of having a 2-story home with a front porch swing and a back deck where the breeze off the beach could keep her cool. The dream would be complete if only she had someone to share her dream. Belle had always been seen as "trailer trash" growing up. She never had the best clothes or personal hygiene, as she was never taught these things. Her mom, too dependent on drugs, died when she was young. But Belle always had her grandma. Her grandma always told her that each new sunrise symbolized the start of a new day with endless possibilities. Belle worked hard to earn a RN degree, kept her house pretty and clean, and was a positive influence in every life she touched. But she was shy. When an accident at Careway placed her in Hunter's path, their connection could no longer be denied. As with anything in life, there are bumps on the way to true happiness.

This is the seventh in the Baytown series and one of the best! A captivating story with LOTS of twists and turns. Touching on the ugly truths of drug abuse, distribution, and desperation of living a life revolving around drugs. Belle was able to provide a safe place for Brittany, something her grandma had done for her--paying it forward. Truly enjoyable read with a sweet ending for the town sweetheart with her colorful ribbons.

This was one of the best heartwarming and heart wrenching stories I have read! Belle is a shy, sweet and caring woman who started out with a rough life but has made a good life for herself with close friends. Hunter is a big, rough around the edges man who’s new to their group of friends and has secrets to keep. Apart they may not seem like a good match, but together they have the right spark needed to start the flames of passion. Although Hunter will do anything to keep Belle safe, will he be able to protect her from the secrets he is keeping? Will Belle be able to forgive him when she learns the truth, and how will they be able to overcome the obstacles once the truth is out?

This was an exciting read, full of romance, drama, heartache, and joy. There are moments when your heart will break and moments your breath will freeze. You will feel Belle’s pain, both emotional and physical, and will be willing to stand with Hunter as his world comes apart. This is the story that will bring you to tears as it is sharing the utmost joy. Come along on Belle and Hunter’s journey, through their ups and downs, their joy and pain as they face both intrigue and life-threatening drama to reach their intended ending.

Once you begin this fast paced and engaging tale, you will find it hard to put down. The characters are strong and interesting, and their story will keep your attention from beginning to end. Although each story in this series can be read as a standalone, the Baytown Boys characters are integrated into the whole series. I highly recommend you read this amazing story and series!

The latest book in the Baytown Boys books and it can absolutely be read as a standalone. This one is about Belle Gunn who works at a nursing while taking as many classes as she can to become a nurse. She has watched her friends find love and happiness but she is shy and it just hasn't happened for her yet. But she has goals and dreams and is actively working to make them happen and become a reality for her. Hunter Simmons is a veteran of the Navy and has come to Baytown at the urging of Zac who he knew in the military. Now he is working maintenance for the nursing home that Belle works in and is attracted to her even though he knows it's a bad idea. But after an accident happens, he realizes that the more time he spends with her, the more he could love this woman. Now he just has to deal with his own issues to make himself worthy of her.

I loved this book!! Belle is one of those sweet people that no matter what they do, you just love them! She tends to be there for everyone but is definitely not a doormat. She just genuinely cares about other people and wants to help when she can. All while she still manages to make her own situation in life better and works towards her own dreams. Hunter is definitely one of those men who can be overprotective but only because he cares so much. He will do what he can to make sure someone is safe, even if it might not be the best thing for himself. This book sucked me in from the beginning and it had me believing one thing through most of it. And then bam! There was the twist I definitely wasn't expecting but it helped me love Hunter even more!! I loved it! Another great read in this series!

I’m pretty sure I say this after every one of Maryann Jordan’s books but this one is her best yet!! I am so in love with these two. I just finished and I can’t wipe the grin off my face. It’s that good!

Waiting for Sunrise is about Belle and Hunter. Belle has been one character that I couldn’t wait for her story and what a story we get!! Belle is the quiet one of the Baytown ladies, working at Careway taking care of the elderly. She’s so nice and so caring, you instantly fall in love with her. She didn’t have the best childhood growing up but she’s determined to make her life way better.

Hunter was in the Navy with Zac and has been hired on at Careway as the new maintenance man. Catching the eye of Belle and vise versa. He silently watched her for months before getting to finally speak and get to know her. These two fall fast but there are secrets that aren’t shown until it maybe too late. Once the secret comes out a terrible situation incurs and solidifies Hunters feelings for Belle.

These two have more in common than most and they both fall head over heals for each other. We watch them battle their way to their happy ever after and it’s a beautiful story to read.

As always Maryann Jordan is a must read author and an automatic one-click author for me. Her story telling is out of this word good and you’ll be entranced into every single story.

Highly recommended.

I love strong women and the women of Baytown are that and so much more. Belle wasn't part of the original group she was a couple of years behind them.

Always working hard and now studying to finish her RN, Belle always rises early to watch the sunrise. The beginning of a new day brings memories of her grandmother who instilled this habit in her.

Hunter has been attracted to Belle since he first saw her. He's managed to keep his distance even though they both work at the Careview Nursing Home. That is until she injures herself because of the placement his ladder as he changed lightbulbs.

Now he finds he can't stay away. He absolutely needs to work things out and there's things he needs to tell her. The timing isn't right though.

I swear I was yelling at Hunter the whole way through this book. With all the guys in law enforcement working to curb the drug traffic in Baytown, the trailer park with the problems in the back area. Belle stumbling on things and so much more.

I loved all the interactions with Brittany, Belle really was key in helping her become all she can be.

I couldn't put this book down, I laughed, I cried, I held my breath, and I might have cursed a few times with the twists and turns. So much I didn't see coming!

Waiting for Sunrise is one of Maryann Jordan's best books. Her Baytown Boys books are full of heartwarming characters and a town that her readers have grown to love. We have all been waiting for Belle's story and it could not have been written any better. This is a standalone but all of our favorite Baytown Boys and their wives and girlfriends make appearances in this book. Hunter is a bit of a surprise and he keeps the readers on the edge of their seats with the secrets he keeps. Character development and storyline are fantastic and will keep you in laughter, tears, and suspenseful anticipation and this books keeps the characters in a state of upheaval. You will love Belle and Hunter's chemistry. They are both so innocent in many ways. Belle is so shy and kind to everyone never judging and Hunter has never been in a serious relationship before. Will his secrets tear them apart and will Belle be able to forgive him. These characters feel so real and your heart will definitely be affected by this story. Jordan took a man with no dreams and a woman with a simple dream and in their love gave the their life full of hope. Well done Maryann well done. A must read for all.

Waiting for Sunrise

OMG! What a FANTASTIC story. This story is about Belle and Hunter. Belle came from a bad childhood but she was bound and determined to make a good life for herself. Hunter moved to Baytown and started falling in love with Belle, even though he knew he shouldn't. Once these two get together, Belle trusts Hunter enough to tell him about her childhood. Hunter was more determined to protect Belle after that. There was a lot of emotions throughout this book, I had tears in my eyes in a few places of this story. How can you not feel what Belle went through without tears? I was surprised to find out that Hunter was undercover. When Belle was shot, we cried when Hunter was feeling lost. Once she finally recovered, Hunter finally told her what he had done. Hunter had found his happily ever after with Belle. I am so happy for them to come out of their pasts to find their dreams come true. FANTASTIC job Maryann!I I would recommend this book. Can't wait for the next one.

Waiting for the Sunrise was a very wonderfully written book, it was intriguing, emotional with some twists that will keep you hooked until the end of the book. Maryann Jordan just has a way with words that her story just pull you in and you feel what her characters are feeling and what they are going through. This is a story that definitely pulls at your heart strings.
Hunter Simmons is new to Baytown when he hears great things about this towns it intrigues him, now that he is here it feels nice and
he loves how the town pulls together to help out veterans. Bella Gunn is the last of her friends who has not married, she is a dedicated shy nurse who just has found love is a bit out of her reach. There is definite a connection when these two come face to face. There is some mysterious happenings in this story that you will keep you turning the pages just to see what is happening next.
I absolutely recommend this great book hope you will enjoy as much as I did. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Nurse Belle Gunn survived her childhood in a somewhat seedy trailer park and worked at the same Nursing home she visited and volunteered at when her grandmother was alive. She befriended Briittney, a lonely little girl who ‘s life was too much like her own at that age. Belle didn’t think of herself as lonely until handsome handyman Hunter Simmons started at the nursing home making the entire female population there practically swoon. front and center as soon as she the city limits.

Glad he’d taken his service friends up on moving to Bayton, Belle Gunn caught Hunter’s eye immediately and when a workplace accident leaves Bella injured, Hunter doesn’t have to be told to escort her or watch over her he does that willingly. As the pair grow closer, promise they’ve shared all there is to know Hunter realized he’d held back one and can’t share it now. Meanwhile the police are busy chasing and influx of prescription drugs, they’re really turning up in places and ways they shouldn’t.

Hunter and Belle.
I loved this book.
This couple were so adorable.
Belle is really shy so she struggles to even hold a conversation with Hunter.
Hunter is a big built guy so he has his own issues.
Hunter is an outsider to the area and moves there as he served with one of the men from a previous book and Belle is a bit younger than the women of the other books and with a difficult background she is a bit of an outsider too.
There is no ex-drama, both Hero and heroine only have eyes for each other, once they get over their initial issues realising they are attracted to each other.
Hunter is a bit of a mystery. There is a lot going on in the plot, I don't want to explain anymore not to spoil it.
We catch up with the other couples from the previous books too.
Also as Belle works in a care facility there are some touching scenes with her patients and some humourous moments too.
HEA.
Epilogue, 6 months then another further down the road.

I absolutely loved the latest book in the Baytown Boys series!!! This is the story of Belle and Hunter. Hunter is new to Baytown ready to start a new life after leaving the military. He finds a job at the local nursing home and there is where he meets Belle. Belle hasn't had the easiest life....growing up with a neglectful mom. Luckily she had the support of her grandmother. The two of them have had their eye on each other but is hesitant to make a move. When Belle gets hurt at work....Hunter feels like he is to blame. A relationship begins and they find out that they have more in common than they realize. They are so sweet and connect in such a way that will tug at your heartstrings. Of course there is action, suspense, and twists/turns that you don't see coming. I was hooked from the first page and hated to see it end. It was such an amazing book and I highly recommend it to all. I can't wait for the next story to be here.....well done!!!!

This story broke my heart and then put it back together. OMG Hunter and Belle went through so much from there parents when they as children, but as adults they ate kind, caring and amazing people who would do anything for anyone. They had chemistry between them right from the start even there friends could see it, they and they fell for each other instantly. There was so many twists and turns that you didn't see coming and had you turning the page's to see what was going to happen next and that alone ment you couldn't put this book done until you finished reading it. Make sure you have tissues handy as you will need them. Maryann you are an amazing author you write with so much passion, compassion and put so much into your books so that we enjoy reading them, you are my Hero. I definitely recommend this book as I think it is one of Maryann's greatest books to date and I have read them all.

I honestly can't put into words how much l loved this book. I have been dying to read about Belle's story for so long now, it was everything I expected it to be and more. Just when you think you have figured everything out and you know where everything is going this story turns around on you. This Book is extremely well written and flowed from page to page and kept you on the edge. I definitely couldn't put it down once I started.

It is an absolutely pleasure to read this book and emerse myself in the lives of the Baytown residents and their family and friends. Honestly if you read just one book this is definitely one l would recommend you pick up. OMG! While I have loved all the books in the Baytown Boys Series this one is my all time favorite so far! This was a truly beautiful story and I loved the characters of Hunter and Belle. I laughed, I bit my fingernails wondering what was coming next and I cried both tears of sadness and tears of joy. This was hands down the best book in the Series! Not only was it a quick read (or maybe I just could not put it down) but a soul satisfying read. Do yourself a favor and not only read all the other books in the series but definitely read this one. While each are "technically" a stand alone and can be read in any order, you will read about some of the other characters in each storyline and will want to know "their" story as well.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review. HOWEVER, I would have provided a review REGARDLESS!

Love!!!!!

Wow! This was another great read by Ms. Jordan! I loved Belle and Hunter. He is so mysterious and she is so sweet! This book had me turning the pages it had .a few plot twists to keep you on your toes. I honestly can't get over how good this series each book gets better and better . I love the link to the American Legion and Auxiliary. I also looked that she discusses the real issues are Baytown Boys would actually have after serving our country.

I am a big fan of Ms. Jordan and as I have the previous books in the series I enjoyed reading this book! Hunter is very sexy and seeing him and Belle together is a beautiful thing. They had both had rough childhoods and opening up to each other helps them both heal. All I can say is you don't the able to put it down!

Finding Happiness

One of the things I love about the Baytown Boys series is that the characters are everyday people going about their everyday lives and sometimes doing extraordinary things. Maryann Jordan weaves ordinary occurences into tales that have us rooting for the good guys, rooting for love, shedding a tear over a poignant moment and finding happiness in the friendships and family.

Hunter and Belle both grew up in difficult circumstances with abusive parents. Their common bond seems to strengthen their attraction for one another. Becoming a couple is a new experience for both. Hunter has to deal with some things in his life before he can really commit to Belle. A shocking turn of events reveals a hidden truth and another situation turns deadly. Both Hunter and Belle struggle to keep it together and hold on to love.

Belle works at a nursing home while she completes her schooling to become a nurse. She did not have an easy childhood but that hasn’t changed her shy yet optimistic personality. She has watched her friends fall in love and would like the same thing for herself but in the interim she is focusing on her schooling and career.

Hunter has retired from the Navy and has come to join his friends in Baytown. He is working at the nursing home with Belle and they have become friends. Their friendship is evolving into something much deeper, but will the secrets of his past destroy what they could have together?

I really like both these characters as Belle always thinks of others before herself and Simmons is so protective towards her. Romance, suspense and a twist make this a story you won’t be able to put down. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Oh my...what an awesome story. I love this series and with each book the Baytown characters cement themselves deeper and deeper into your hearts. This wonderful little town feels so familiar now I cant wait for each new book. Hunter and Belle have a lot in common, both with pasts that could have defined them in the wrong way. Instead, being strong and resilient, they forged a life separately but when their paths cross their souls recognise each other. This is a beautiful love story with its ups and downs but the light of love wins out. I loved catching up with old friends and seeing them happy and growing their families. Great book full of deep emotion. Highly recommend this book and series.

Another amazing addition to the Baytown Boys series. I have been waiting for Belle's story and I was not disappointed! In Waiting for Sunrise, we get Belle and Hunter's story. Hunter was briefly introduced at the end of Zac and Madelyn's book. Belle is a sweet, shy woman who has been slowly coming out of her shell. Hunter is alpha male with a touch of mystery. The two of them together are passionate and sweet. I loved watching them evolve together, especially since they share similar background stories. Of course, there is mystery and an amazing twist that I did not expect. Also, the story behind the title of the book is so beautiful. I am eagerly waiting for the next Baytown Boy story! I received an author's copy and I left an honest review!

Sunrise

Waiting on Sunrise is the newest Baytown book by Maryann Jordan. I personally love all her books, but this book stole my heart. Belle is a hard working nurse, which so touched my heart because I am a nurse as well. Her path to becoming an RN is so much like my own, I fell in love with the story. Belle is full of sweetness and kindness, shy to a fault. Hunter is every good girls bad boy fantasy. These two fall in love at a bad time and secrets tear them apart. Hunter is mysterious and she keeps us guessing til the end as they solve a mystery that becomes more than they both bargain for. You are going to love this new addition to this series. I hope you love it as much as I did.

Waiting for Sunrise is book seven in the Baytown Boys series. It tells the story of Hunter and Belle. Hunter has just moved into Baytown and has started working st the nursing home Belle works at. He immediately takes. Liking to her but he has his own issues to deal with before he can fully commit to her. Belle also has things she is trying to work through as well. A relationship isn’t what either of them were really looking for and it’s a new experience for both.

This was a good book I enjoyed it and it was an easy read. I enjoy reading everyday characters who deal with everyday issues. This may be one of my favorite books in this series now. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
