When Blaine's neighbor is kidnapped by a devious serial killer, he pulls out all the stops to find her. With the clock winding down on Misty's chances for survival, the Blackmore crew scours Texas hill country with the bloodhounds.
What a book. It has everything going on. Murders, divorce, love interests and death. Annie is wearing blinkers where Race is concerned and everyone can see what he is doing apart from her. That is until he does something that even she cannot forgive him for. Jessie has an unexpected house guest and Blackie meets someone. A brilliantly written book that has you gripped from the first chapters.
Another fantastic thriller written by this author. She has the ability to create such intriguing and graphic characters that her stories become addictive to the reader. Great suspense and drama.
Hint hint the accelerator is on the right side of a motor bike and it needs you to hold it open esp as you use your arms to turn corners and hold on with road bumps...impossible if your arm is buggered. Also dogs work off skin cells and creeks/water doesn’t change that hard rain n high wind does though
You know when you start a new series, you can usually tell as you read the first book whether you continue on. When you find yourself unable to stop reading until the last page you're thinking, now what do I do? Do I start the next book or do I read one of the other books in my library? Well I'm here to tell you, keep reading the series, you'll be glad you did. I just finished this one and I'm excited to download the next book
Some very dark material in this book. But also a ray of light is introduced. I must say I don’t understand Annie at all. Read the book see if you can understand her. Again the book gripped me from the first page and the last page left me wanting more.
