1918. The German High Command, dismayed by their failure at Amiens, look for a way to knock the British out of the war. They plan to launch a devastating assault towards the channel ports, hoping that one last great battle will be enough to end the war in triumph. Harry and his section, after weeks of fierce fighting, will once again be thrust into the heart of a desperate struggle, as the Germans attack and the British are forced to cling desperately on in the face of overwhelming odds. With no room to retreat, the tired and war weary soldiers are the only thing stood in the way of a German victory. With their backs to the wall, they must stand defiant before the enemy.

After reading all the books with Harry and his gang from the first story set in 1914 to the present book set in 1918 I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the books .Once started reading the novels I cannot put them down. Being so descriptive and putting you there right amongst the terror , smells , and fears of everyone you feel that you are part of the section Harry is in charge of . Please keep the stories coming Mr Minor ! I know at some point they will end but until then keep them coming .
Enjoyed it. Characters are like good friends, having followed earlier books. Looking forward to the next instalment. Action scenes are described in detail.
