I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

They were two broken souls, looking for something to make them whole again. She had come to town to check out family property that she didn’t know about. He had come back to town to heal from the terrors of war and being a prisoner . They find out that they can help each other and start to fall in love. But there is an evil that is coming for her, because she discovered his crimes and she needs to be quieted,before she tells anyone.
She fights for the men who are helping her and they come to care and fight for her. The MC is behind her and the President 100% and no one is gonna mess with them, their family, or their land.

What an amazing start to a new series!!!
This book started with a bang. It was fabulous. I couldn't put it down. I read it all in one go.
The story starts with Jessie as she arrived her late grandmother's home. She didn't know she had a grandmother but was left the home in her will.
When Jessie explores the home, she discovers several journals of a very sick and twisted man.
She realises that she needs to confirm some of the details at least before going to the police with her findings.
She comes across Lucifer who is the President of the Warriors MC.
Their meeting was electric.
When Jessie life is in danger due to her findings, Lucifer vows to protect her at all costs.
I love this introduction to the Whisky Bend MC series. I want to read more. Eagerly waiting for the next book.

This was a very hard review to write. I found myself skimming some parts and devouring others. A great premise, but I had a difficult time connecting with the characters fully. The editing could have been better, but, again I had to find out what came next.
There were some really cool road names the guys had and all of them being vets was nice.
Lucifer: He didn’t know why but he had a feeling they’d been destined to meet. When they kissed earlier, he didn’t feel the rage he usually felt when someone else touched him. For some unknown reason, he could tolerate her touch...He had reached for her!
Jessie puzzled me from the get go; a total stranger is holding you against your will but you melt into a kiss? She has some strong convictions about justice and fair play and her instant loyalty to the MC was puzzling.

This intriguing suspense romance hooks you from the first page. Lucifer was a POW and suffers from PTSD. Jessie helps Vets and her experience will come in handy as this story develops. When her mother died, she received a letter from a lawyer that her grandmother passed a woman she never knew. She was left a farm and on that farm in the house she found some journals that would alter the course of her life. When she did some digging, she came upon a farm stand that house Lucifer and his men after telling her story, they bound together to get to the truth, but the killer is out there watching. Will Lucifer and his men be able to keep Jessie safe? This action-packed story will keep you guessing.

I received this book from the author and am happily reviewing it. Totally loved this book and would thoroughly recommend it and hope that others enjoy it as much as I did. Lucifer is the President of his MC Hells Guardian Warriors with all his members being previous members of the Armed Forces each affected by the war. Jessie Grant is a woman on a mission to track down a suspected serial killer which takes her to Whiskey Bend and onto the land of the local MC. Caught by one of his men Jinx, Lucifer has no idea what to do with the woman but when he touches her and realises that he likes it he knows that he must protect her. Can these two people find what they want and need together?

Interesting
Another hit by this author her books are always of a high standard and this is no exception. A really interesting story a lonely young woman finds a set of journals that belong to a serial killer she starts investigating the content of the journal herself and ends up in the grip of a motorcycle club full of damaged veterans but there she finds love, a home and family. The serial killer is discovered and his heinous crimes are found out. It's an interesting story with lots of twists a genuinely good read.

What a good story! These guys are all vet's with problems and they live on Lucifer's farm that his grandfather left him. Lucifer, the name the enemy gave him over in the "sandbox" where him and some of the other guys were held captive! He can't stand to be touched! Along comes this woman looking into a murder she found the killers journals and read them. She comes on their property and Jinx grabs her. He takes her to the Prez....Lucifer feels something different with her! Do they believe her? What happens to her? Good story line!

I really enjoyed this book. It is a great story about a lonely woman who finds her place with a damaged man. The MC in this book is made up of vets that are all suffering from their time in the military. There isn’t a lot of the normal darkness or MC business but the guys in the MC are likeable & the murder mystery is entertaining. I really like Lucifer’s character & you can’t help but to admire his courage.

Amazing
Omg I couldn't put this book down! I absolutely loved it! Lucifer is the man of my dreams. The men of Whiskey Bend MC are all ex military and have been through hell and back. Lucifer had it worse than the rest of them and Jesse's life has been no picnic either. When Jesse and Lucifer met I prayed they would hook up and when they did holy cow hot hot hot! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Memorizing
I loved this story! I couldn't put it down I just read the whole thing in one sitting. The powerful connection between Lucifer and Jesse is BEYOND the wow factor. Not to mention the connection she had with the rest of them also. This to me was the perfect love connection. I hope there will be more to come with this MC. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would!!

Loved the story line but.....
I think the story would have been better with more buildup of a history between two main characters. It was almost like the second book of a series. I believe in love at first sight but you still have to have more interaction. 3 1\2 stars because it was good i just needed more

Great book
Another hot out of the park for the author, I can't wait to read more from this series. Murder, mayhem, a kidnapping by a psychotic killer, hot alpha male,strong female character, motorcycles, veterans. Gotta love a good mystery with sex and romance with a HEA ending. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the characters and their story. This was a cover to cover non-stop read for me, and I'm sure it will be for you as well. Pick this one up you won't be disappointed.

Thrills, chills, twists and turns, murder,romance,intrigue, add to that bundle a motorcycle club of retired vets with PTSD, a strong independent woman, a psychotic FBI profiler, it makes for one interesting story, one that I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and their story and look forward to reading more of. This is one book you won't want to miss.

This is an awesome book! There’s a lot of mystery, suspense, several murders, a crazy dude, and the FBI. They are trying to solve something that happened years ago. It will take all of them to do it.

Lucifer is a hard man. After he was discharged from the military he set up a place on his family farm for others like him. They work various missions the military can't do. That's when he meets Jessie. Suddenly, she's taken by a killer and he is truly Lucifer.

I had a hard time with the beginning. There was a lot of pushing, shoving, grabbing, glaring, being held against your will... poor Jessie. But boom, she sleeps with him in about 24 hours anyway.
