This book to some extent reads like a boring lecture (maybe because of its mellow tone, maybe because of its technical nature; it's short but I kinda had to plod through it), but its content is nonetheless helpful.
At the heart of it, it shares in-depth knowledge on different writing markets and how to penetrate them. It gives advice, for example, on how to write magazine and newspaper articles, novels, short stories, scripts for stage, T. V, and radio, and offers hints on what to consider before submitting for these different markets so that submission is effective.
It's the first writing book I've read that has taught me anything serious about stage, T.V, and radio script writing. If you can manage to plod through the mellow tone and technical texture, you will find it a worthwhile read.
