This is the third book, in what I would imagine to be a four book series. Each book is about one of the four friends.
This is the story of Brenna and Romulus (Rom). We’ve previously had Baylee and Allix’s stories.
This series in my view just gets better with each book. They are imaginative stories containing all manner of fairytale creatures, including witches, werewolves and vampires.
They are incredibly steamy!

This series is amazing and should be read by anyone that loves PNR. Hell, even by those that don't really like it. It felt like something that could happen in real life. Strong characters, amazing story, and suspense. Add in hot steam, like HOT, and it was perfect.
I'm glad to see Cassie is back but also a little bummed knowing that her story was supposed to be released a year ago and it isn't here yet. I'm going to need her to start telling her story to the author soon because I need to know how this story ends.

Brenna's story in the series.
Plot spoilers.
I cried several times reading this book, there was some very emotive writing. I can't honestly say I liked the character of Rom, the alpha dominance was overdone to such a point that I wondered where her backbone had gone because there is no way the werewolf queen submits to absolutely everything like a spineless jellyfish. She is supposed to be submissive to her alpha, I get that, but he blew through every objection she made as he virtually raped her and never even thought of kissing her. In the same vein he never once has sex with her face to face unless it's anal. I mean, sure if that's your kink, whatever but it was never discussed or explored. Being a dominant alpha doesn't mean ignoring every word the submissive says.
My other main complaint is that there is no conclusion to the series. Sanctuary was promised for 2018 but has not arrived yet there is a book regarding the next generation on sale. WTF?
Other than the above comments this book really moved the series forward and it's a shame the conclusion is not available.

While I was reading this, there were times when I thought that I was going to have to legit hate Kay Elle Parker. It came close a couple of places, but luckily, I don't have to hate her and I can love this book.
We're on the 3rd of 4 very close friends who grew up in Hangman's Haunt, Montana. It's a small town that was said to be haunted and full of all kinds of paranormal things. Brenna and her 3 friends grew up trying to find all the legends, and spending all their time in their clearing in the woods, which is now a sacred place. Brenna is the seer of the group, and has helped their group against the forces which Shax has sent against them. Unfortunately, his last big push meant that the shifters and such of Hangman's Haunt now owe a debt, and it's coming due.
Romulus is the alpha of the North Dakota pack. He sent some of his own against the shifters of Hangman's Haunt because he was duped. They ended up dying. The shifters treated his dead with respect, but they still owe him a debt. And he wants paying. And Brenna is the payment he wants.
All the books in this series have been intense. However, I think that this was the most intense. I couldn't put it down when I started reading it, and I didn't have the words to talk about it when it was over. I'm only barely being hyperbolic when I say that I thought I might have to legit hate Kay Elle Parker for a minute. There were places that were that intense and emotion filled. I was so entangled with Brenna, Rom, Daxon, Baylee, Alix, and Archer and what they were all going through as individuals, friends, couples, and lovers. Yes, Rom and Brenna were the focus, but the story doesn't work well without everyone in it.
I cannot wait for the next book. I'm going to guess that Cassie is going to be the main focus, but I'm not entirely sure who the other side of the equation is, although, I think I have an inkling of a good guess. I'll just have to wait to see.

In Eclipsed we get to Brenna, the sensitive one of the group because she's crippled by visions. We also meet Romulus, who has come to town to collect on what is due to his pack, his werewolf pack. Rom is a strong alpha, he goes after what he wants with no apology, and he chooses Brenna.
We've come a long way with these characters in this series and if we've learned anything, it's their strength and resilience. They face a lot of new enemies in Eclipsed and they all must heavily rely on each other to make it through, including Brenna who seems to be just an ordinary human.
This was a fun read, I loved watching Brenna's evolution, and I think Rom has met a good match in her because she will help to ground him and calm him down. The great thing about this series is that each of the books can be read as standalones, so while it's nice to get everyone's stories beforehand, you can jump in at any time. It's fast-paced, sexy and fun, and the characters are sure to win you over.

It is well written, fast paced with lots of twist and turns, engaging characters, very steamy and emotional. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop. It is quite a ride.
My heart just broke for Brenna, she is haunted by her past and her visions. She carries a lot on her shoulders. But she doesn’t give up and keeping fighting to save her friends.
Romules is very intense. he and his kind are feared and not also looked at favorably, but when he meets Brenna, he know she is the ones and he will do anything to make her happy, save and loved.
There is a lot going on in this book, but I won’t say anything, because i don’t want to spoil anything. It is very intense and emotional. It wil make you laugh, go aaaaw and it will have you hug a pillow.
This isn’t your average PNR book. It is a bit different and Kay Elle Parker takes her time to tell ech story.

Third book in the series and there is definitely at least one more to come. The whole series has been intense and I’ve loved it. Brenna has been there from the beginning watching as her friends were changed by circumstances out of their control. She sees glimpses of the future and has hated every minute of it. She is one very stubborn human female and it is found to take a very dominant alpha to handle her and love her. She just better be careful with her stubbornness if she wants to be able to sit without wincing. The story continues the problem of an evil alpha that will stop at nothing to get revenge. He will cause death and pain. But the group is growing and they will protect their packs, families and friends with their lives.

Just keeps getting better
I love the take of this author's view of the shifter, vampire and werewolves worlds. Super hot Alphas and the best women that become their mates.
Each story so far has been unique, about the four girls that grew up in the haunt . The writer*s view brings the wicked evil underworld to life with challenges against Trolls and Gremlins that will make your skin crawl. Parker's words just flow into each other to weave a story I couldn't put down. The hot hot sex scenes are just that, hot.
This was Brenna"s and Romulus's story. The short fiesty red head full of grit and visions meets the alpha pack leader of the werewolves.
Looking forward to the story of Cassie.

This is a wonderful series and I was so glad to finally get Brenna's story the third book in the Hangman's Haunt series.
Brennas is almost buckling under her visions and decisions she has made in the past she always thought she was doing the right thing not telling hat she had seen but sometimes her friends didn't agree with her decisions. Romulus has come for revenge for the loss of his warriors but when he finds out she is his mate revenge will be the last thing on his mind but danger is once again stalking them will they have a chance to see where this can go.

This is a really good book. Though it talks about things that happened in previous stories, it does not take away from this story.

Wasn't sure if Kay Elle Parker could keep up the pace & tension in the third of this series but why did i worry , it was fantastic , my favourite book so far . Romulus has turned up at Hangmans Haunt to collect a debt owed to his pack but what he gets is so much , the big bad wolf soon finds he would sell his soul to keep Brenna safe & he might just have to after Shax ups his game & brings hell to the Haunt , full of tension , action & plenty of love , you will not be able to put this down once you start it .

This is an absolutely amazing story I found myself completely hooked to the point of even thinking about the characters when I wasn't even reading about them. The writer had me so hooked that I felt as though I really knew them all, never quite sure what was coming next and constantly shocked and surprised. Look I'm no author as you can tell from this review but read this book. This is the third in the series and although there all good I must admit this was definitely my favourite. Amazing read.

A terrific continuation of the Hangman’s Haunt Series. Strong characters, exciting story line and plenty of hot animal heat. Eclipse can be read as a stand-alone but is more enjoyable knowing the backstory of the characters. Not exactly a cliffhanger, but the story doesn’t finish here. Looking forward to book 4.

Man, I have no clue how I missed this series! I love shifters, Alpha ones are the best, especially with kick umm butt women!!
Brenna and Rom, something was between them from the first look they shared but it was way more then I expected. I had no problem following this, even though haven't read the others, but I can say I will be checking them out, if they are even half this good I'll be a happy paranormal junkie!!

I have never read anything from this author before Kay Elle Parker. I am so glad I read this book it kept my interest and was action packed all the way threw the story. Now I have to go back and get the other 2 books in the series before this one cause I jumped into this series. I guarantee you will not be disappointed when you purchase this book.

When I first started this series, I thought it was a trilogy, now I'm guessing there's at least one more.

Brenna and Romulus
Eep! Surprise after surprise and nail biting suspense that had me On the edge of my seat. I literally consumed this book in just a few hours, the need to know what would happen next was too alluring to allow me to set it down. Now I'm sad because the final book hasn't released yet and I'm impatiently waiting lol Loved Brenna and Rom's story!

Wow!
Another stellar book from Kay Elle Parker! She does an amazing job bringing you into the story and have it be all encompassing. I finished this book in 24 hours - and I will definitely be reading it again. Probably my favorite of the 3 Hangman Haunt books I can't wait to see what she brings in the next!

Was just like I expected from reading the other books. Struggles galore and surrenders that count. The love of the friends to protect each other is fantastic, as is the love that comes for the main characters. Can't wait for the next installment!!!!

This book was written so well. I was immediately thrown into the action and the suspense made me feel like I was on the edge of my seat constantly. She was such a great character. He was perfect as written. Another great book to add to this series. Recommend

The book has a good storyline that is interesting. The characters are intriguing, engaging, and well developed. I did like reading this book.

A very well written fast pace read. There is plenty of action, suspense, twists and turns. This book had me on edge until the very end. I was hooked from the beginning and could not put it down until the end. Be prepared for a wild ride with this one because it will leave you to want more of this series. I definitely recommend.
