When preparing for any examination or interviews, the candidate’s
continual worry is ‘what will they ask in the test paper or in the Interview?’
To try and provide some insight into a prospective examinee’s expectations
we have compiled a broad range of questions in this book. The format of
this book follows closely that of a complete B.H.M- IHM syllabus based on
the regulations laid down by National Council for Hotel Management and
Catering Technology.
Each chapter corresponds to the projected material section of the
examination.However, the division of different sections is arbitrary, and may
vary from examination to examination. This book is very user-friendly and
includes all subjects in one volume. This enables the candidate to know the
standard, recent trends and patterns of questions of the Job Interviews.
The most important element in the preparation for any examination
is the depth of learning. These questions are no substitute for exhaustive
study, but they provide a safe environment for students to illustrate specific
points, especially for the reorientation hours before the Interviews. The questions
in this book are designed to provide a useful approach complementary
to the study of standard texts, and to give an opportunity for self-directed
review and evaluation of his or her progress. It is hoped that sieving these
questionswould indicate an excellent level of preparedness for the OCLD
Interviews.
The book thus allows an imminent candidate to assess, in a rough but
ready way, his or her factual knowledge.This aim alone would perhaps not in
itself justify a book of this type. We have set our sights considerably higher.

an extensive preparatory course for those who are planning to OCLD,
TMTP & other Management training Programs.
