From Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestseller Vivian Wood
I’m over Jameson. Finished. Done.
He broke up with me, citing his friendship with my big brother. So I washed my hands of him. Heartbroken, I am trying to move on with my life.
But of course, Jameson can’t make things easy for me. He’s still in my space every chance he gets, taunting me with his soulful eyes and his clever smile. I remember all too well what it felt like to be wrapped in his arms, to be under his big body, to be screaming his name.
I just can’t seem to shake him. Every step I take away from him seems to bring us closer together, even though we’ve been down this road before.
The same forces threaten to rip us apart… unless Jameson and I learn to put love first.
Let me start out by saying, god there better another follow up story to this one…. I loved Jameson and Emma. The boy from the wrong side of the street and the practical girl from the privileged life, whom through a run of steamy sexual tension, turns to devastation when he walks away from her, leaving her distraught.
Emma is a smart young lady, studying to be a lawyer. Jameson is her brothers best friend, and has worked hard for everything he has, including a business run with Emma’s brother Asher. From a young age Emma was taken by Jameson. His stunning good looks, and of course the best friend of Asher makes him more irresistible, but always off limits. So when they decide steaming up her bedroom is a good idea… We’ll it’s not. Jameson devastates Emma by simply pulling the plug on their non-relationship.
Fast forward a few weeks, a The force Of Emma’s Family for her settle down, means she starts dating… and well Jameson doesn’t take to kindly to seeing her with other men… meaning Neanderthal Jameson comes out to play, opening a whole new can of worms. Professing he wants her back and he doesn’t care about the consequences Everything she has wanted becomes clear.
But with so much at stake, and the chance for Jameson to destroy her again, means this gorgeous young lady, really is the scared little girl. Pulled between overprotective parents with to much money, her brother who will kill when he finds out about her a Jameson, and her own fears = a huge ending that wasn’t…. It all just stopped, and I gotta say I’m desperate to find out about their “happy ending” or not.
I received an ARC copy for an honest review. Wow the shit that Jameson and Emma go thought to be together is astonishing. Ashers reaction to things was surprising. And the book ends in another cliff hanger. I really need to know what happens next.
And Bad Reputation picks up exactly where Bad Behaviour finished, so you have to have read that first. In fact, go and grab Bad Beginnings, The Prequel. It’s a free and succinct introduction to everyone, and provides a great background for Jameson and Emma’s story.
I love Jameson. This guy is the epitome of a hero in my book. Despite his family beginnings of drug addicted parents, his Grandma took him and his two brothers in, and showed them what honesty and hard work can get you in this world. And even though he was still a minor when she died, he dropped out of school and took multiple jobs to feed and educate his brothers and keep them together as a family unit. And for 10 years, his friend Asher helped to keep them from starving and going under. He owes Asher what can never be repaid, and continues to try to honour the one rule Asher never waivered from – stay away from Emma, breaking both of their hearts on the process.
Emma has her own family issues to deal with, and Vivian Wood has given her the parents from hell. Any interactions with her mother are read by me in a state of shock, to find that any parent can treat their adult daughter as she was, although when said daughter is dependent on her college fees being paid, Mummy Dearest will use any leverage to get her daughter wed to someone with a suitable parentage, regardless of their level of morality.
Asher on his part is someone I just can’t like, even with his history of altruism toward Jameson and his brothers. I don’t get what is in his head, honestly I don’t. To me the guy actually seem like an entitled pr!ck.
And right at the end, where I picture Emma and Jameson, rightly or wrongly, being led like lambs to the slaughter, I know that another book will be coming. Oh crap, Vivian Wood, you teased us, and you hinted, I just hoped that it wasn’t true. This is not the end of the story yet. 4.5 Stars from a reader desperate for the end.
Hang on tight, this next book will send you through a roller coaster of emotions!
Imagine, your the “debutante” to your wealthy family, the apple of your parents eyes and the baby sister to a brother who put a NO DATE clause on to his friends. You’ve been in love with your brothers best friend since you learned what the word “love” meant. The man your in love with feels obligated to hold up that end of his bargain because of everything his best friend has ever done to help him and his younger brothers survive day to day life growing up.
Emma and Jameson, couldn’t be more different when it comes the status in society when it comes to the pedigree of their families. Years have passed and the two have discovered there’s a spark amongst them. Secretly seeing each other behind Asher’s back. Feeling guilty, Jameson breaks things off fearing the relationship could ruin the friendship between him and Asher.
Disaster right? Feeling like Jameson has chosen her brother, Emma is distraught. Putting friendship and loyalty above the feelings they have for each other; Emma closes herself off and avoids Jameson at all cost. Or at least she tries, knowing her heart leads over her brain she falls right back into that lust fueled trap.
I literally banged my head against my phone reading their story. Jameson you jerk! My emotions were in a whirlwind. Tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. Vivian doesn’t disappoint, she pulls you along through the story and you’re flipping, flipping, flipping until you realize you’ve reached the end of the story and your in disbelief at the cliffhanger threatening to throw you over. There is another book in the works and I’m just as giddy as I was the first time I finished my first book of hers. Anticipating the next release. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
After reading an ARC of Bad Behavior, I was really looking forward to seeing what was next for Emma and Jameson. Now that I've had a chance to also read an ARC of Bad Reputation, I'm not sure that it quite lives up to my expectations. 🙁 I mean I knew it was going to be a hard road for these two, but I honestly thought, or at least I hoped that this book would focus on this couple's fight to be together. Emma and Jameson would go the distance to prove to Asher (Emma's older brother/Jameson's best friend)--and anyone else who may have doubts about them--that they belong together. However, for most of the story, Emma and Jameson are still keeping their relationship a secret from Asher. I was just hoping for a bit more confrontational drama and was a little disappointed when it didn't happen.
Now please don't burn me at the stakes.😬 I absolutely adore Vivian Wood's writing, and it's not a bad book. There's still some romantic drama, high emotions, and steamy scenes. Seriously, when Emma and Jameson are together, they're good...amazing! But because of his friendship with Asher, Jameson pushes Emma away, breaks her heart, and has her doubting everything she ever believed about them being together. And for all the toughness Jameson exudes, he behaves like a coward using the "I owe him everything" excuse to break Emma's heart. What redeems Jameson in my eyes is his willingness to protect Emma--no matter what. That and the fact that he obviously loves and cares for Emma.
There's just one other thing that bothers me about this book. The majority of the characters seem to be a lot less mature than I remember from the previous book. I mean, we have law school students, business owners, people in their twenties who have held down jobs for a considerable number of years, yet they act a little juvenile at times. Maybe I'm just being too picky, but even the parents come across as pretentious, gossip(y), whiny, snobby, little spoiled brats who resort to name calling and tantrums. It was just a bit over-the-top.
It was good to see Jameson FINALLY "man-up" to Asher, as well as to Emma's parents. But in another twist, we have to wait, I think, for the next book (?) to truly find out how things turn out...🙁
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wow—great ending! This is an amazing and beautiful love story that was so well done; it held my attention and was entertaining and had a compelling storyline. This book starts where Bad Behavior left off. BAD REPUTATION is an engaging story with lots of passion that will keep you captivated and glued to the pages of this fascinating storyline, and the momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more. Vivian Wood delivered another addictive, intriguing story that totally blew me away. This book was everything I hoped it would be—emotional, angsty, and fascinating from the beginning to the end. Jameson is handsome, alpha, arrogant, and sexy as hell. Jameson and Emma ended their relationship because of Jameson’s loyalty and debt to Asher, and Jameson did not want Asher to find out about them. Jameson learns a valuable lesson after their breakup. As much as Jameson has tried to leave Emma alone, needless to say, he cannot! The chemistry between Emma and Jameson grows more potent the more time they spend together—the sex is off-the-chart hot! Was pretending to Asher better than him knowing the truth about how he feels about Emma? What will Asher say when he finds out that Jameson has had sex with Emma, who was a virgin? What happens if he does—what a conundrum? You will need to read to find out what happens, but it will be worth reading. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This was an enjoyable book with an interesting plot and dialogue, and it keeps you reading to the end to find out what happened—it will pique your interest and drawn you in. This is a definite MUST READ!
After reading Bad Behavior and loving it, I was eager to get my hands on an early copy of the rest of Emma and Jameson's story. I’m a fan of Ms. Wood's writing and have come to depend on her for heartfelt stories with smoldering heat and complex characters who are a little flawed and a lot loveable.
I feel a little let down after reading this one. (There may be spoilers, so continue reading at your own risk.) I still liked these two main characters, although they were a little too indecisive this time around and seemed less mature than they were in the first book. And while this was supposed to be the second half of a duet, and the resolution of Emma and Jameson's story, the book ended with them revealing their relationship to Emma's brother and parents, her brother Asher storming out angrily and her parents expressing their disapproval. There was no resolution with Emma's family since the book ended with the scene where they revealed their relationship.
A strong subplot was Jameson preparing for his GED, yet we weren’t told if he passed the test, so that was unresolved, as well. There didn’t seem to be a clear progression to the story with events building to a climax, the climax, and a resolution. It felt like several scenes were extraneous and didn’t add to the story, and the significant events could easily take place in just a few chapters. So I’m a bit confused as to whether this is the final book or if there is more to come with these characters. Hopefully it will be made clear in the book synopsis when it’s released.
In spite of my uncertainty about this book, I will continue to read as much of Ms. Wood's work as I can. The overwhelming majority of her books are well plotted with riveting storylines, lots of heat and emotion, and beautifully broken, endearing characters who easily steal a reader's heart.
*I reviewed this book freely and voluntarily, having made no commitment to provide a review and receiving no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.
Fans of this series you will not be disappointed by this continuation. If you haven't read the other books in this series stop and go read them now. This is not a standalone. Go start this awesome series and you will thank me. This book starts with Jameson still making mistakes based on his devotion to his best friend Asher. His internal struggle with his friendship to Asher and his feelings for Asher's off limits (rule by Asher) sister Emma. But James finally does what's right and let's himself fall for her. And that's where the adventure in their romance starts to really take off. I really don't want to give away too much information because this was so much to read and be surprised but trust me this is a must read. This is a story about fighting for what makes you happy. We can't chose the life we are born into but we can chose the life that we lead. And it's important for us to chose the love that makes us happy. In life we might have to make sacrifices but in the end, I believe, they are worth it. And to me this is the message this story is giving. This is an amazing story of romance, friendship, family and taking control of one's life. And talk about steamy! This book definitely had me blushing a few times. Fans of erotica, this definitely the book for you. But I think all romance fans will enjoy this book. And I am hoping there is more. I need more! And I guarantee all readers feel the same way.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. We pick up right where we left off with Bad Behavior. I loved Jameson and Emma together, they complete each other, Jameson just hasn’t figured that out yet. Emma has loved him since she was a teen and when these two got together it was total and utter combustion, but always in the back of Jameson’s mind he owed her brother Asher and broke it off with Emma which in turn made both their lives miserable. When Jameson comes to his senses and realizes that she’s the best thing to ever happen to him he’s on a mission and he wants her back, but will she comply with his needs? Can Emma resist the temptation that Jameson is to her, he’s her kryptonite and he makes her weak in the knees. These two are just amazing and I was so sad to see the end of the book because I want more. Their story is sexy, sassy, emotional, undeniable chemistry, but in the realm of things, it’s a story of love, want and need for that special person and when you find that you hold on tight and don’t let go, ever. I think Jameson has learned his lesson, hopefully…. No spoilers from me, this series is outstanding and if you haven’t started it yet, what the heck are you waiting for? So good, if I could give 10 stars I so freaking would. Thanks Vivian for another amazing story and series!!
❤️🌼🔥THIS CAN’T BE THE END, VIVIAN.....PLEASE!!!!❤️🌼🔥 I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! BAD REPUTATION picks up where BAD BEHAVIOR left off, but the cliffhanger wasn’t resolved the way I assumed it would be, so, to me, that was a good thing, and it made the book start out good....❤️🌼🔥 I love Jameson and Emma....I love everything about them...even Jameson’s misplaced loyalty to Asher makes him a lovable character.....All I can say in good conscience and not give away any spoilers is, you MUST read this book, and if you haven’t already, please read BAD BEGINNINGS and BAD BEHAVIOR first...I re-read these books before reading this book, and I was so glad I did.....I love this series!!!!❤️🌼🔥 And as with BAD BEHAVIOR, I’m not going to lie....I kept trying to turn the page on my kindle at the end, and when I saw the words “Book Complete,” I almost threw my kindle across the room...Again, obviously, I didn’t, but I did yell in my mind, “VIVIAN, YOU DID IT TO ME....AGAIN!!!!” I don’t like all “cliffhangers,” but besides knowing how to hold our attention from page 1 to the very end....Vivian Wood knows where to leave cliffhangers to make us count the days until the next book is released.....And I REALLY hope there is another book in this series.....VIVIAN.....PLEASE!!!!❤️🌼🔥
Vivian Wood is one of my favorite authors and the Bad Behavior duet absolutely doesn't disappoint!
Bad Reputation picks up where Bad Behaviour finished, so you definitely have to have read it first. There is also a prequel called Bad Beginnings. The Prequel is FREE. It's an introduction to the characters, and provides a great background for Jameson and Emma’s story. This Duet and Prequel are absolute MUST reads!
I love Jameson. I feel like every woman needs a Jameson. This man has had a rough start his parents are addicted to drugs and his grandmother took in him and his brothers. She taught them all about handwork, honesty, and got them going in the right direction. Upon her passing he drops out of school and takes multiple jobs to care for his brothers.
His best friend Asher helps to keep them afloat as well. While he owes Asher in ways he could absolutely never repay he can't seem to stay away from Emma. The one rule that Asher has ever made between them. Emma has quite the difficult life, parents from hell, emotional, and trying to be strong when she feels anything but.
This duet has been a very emotional rollercoaster for these characters and I just really feel that it isn't over yet!
Where do I start? this next book in Emma and Jameson's story was such a roller coaster of a ride. From Jameson not wanting to ruin his friendship with Asher and feeling torn apart about how he left things with Emma and realizing what a fool he has been. All the emotional things Emma has to deal with not only with Jameson and Ashe but her parents as well, who treat her like a child and don't seem to respect her as a grown up who is more than capable of making her own decisions. I enjoyed reading how Jameson ad Emma's relationship evolves and how Jameson comes to realize all that really matters are his feelings for Emma. Emma is a strong woman who is able to help Jameson come to terms with his feelings on whether he is betraying Asher by being with her. Asher is a stubborn man at times and has not figured out that his relationship with Evie(Emma's friend) is really not that different from Emma and Jameson's relationship. I was so glad to see both stand up to Asher as well as Emma's parents and that they deserve happiness. I think these two have a lot more story ahead and hope to see more of it.
I had a love/hate relationship with Vivian Wood after I read the first book where we were left with a heartbreaking cliffhanger! Now I just flat out love her!
Bad Reputation starts with the ending of the first book (Bad Behavior) and goes so emotionally forward. Emma was just simply heartbroken and she wonders what her brother is holding over Jameson to break up with her over his friendship with his brother. Jameson didn't even consider it a break up because he didn't think he was in a relationship. Go figure!
Over time, Emma makes him pay for what he did and realizes what he "threw" away. He lost more than just sex with Emma, he lost her friendship too. What will Jameson have to do to get his redemption with Emma? What will it cost him and is he willing to sacrifice it for her?
Vivian had me going through an emotional ringer and I loved every second of it. I thought the ending could have been wrapped up nicely with an epilogue but got even better news when I found out there was going to be another book to this series about Emma's brother, Asher. I'm sure we'll see more of Emma and Jameson with his story. I cannot wait!
This is the 2nd book in the series. You do need to read book 1, in the Bad Behavior duet, in order to follow with this one.
Book 2, picks up where book 1 left off, Emma is devastated and crying her eyes and heart out into her pillows. Emma doesn’t know what to do about losing what her heart has wanted for so long. She is devastated. She throws herself back into her studies. Trying to get back into her routine.
Jameson doesn't want to hurt her, but, he already has. Jameson comes back to her asking for help to study for the GED more. He knows she can’t say no to helping him study.
Emma’s mother tries to set her up on many dates with her socialit friends. One of these dates ends in disaster after the guy physically attacks her.
Emma knows her family and brother will never approve of Jameson, but she wants him. He wants her. They know what each other wants and needs.
Even though this book was excellent, we do still have some editing errors that need reviewed. I know as an ARC Book they don’t catch everything.
I did receive a free ARC book. I am leaving a review of my own free will.
After what I felt was an eternity, we get the continuation of Emma and Jameson.
Jameson keeps believing he owns everything to Asher, and in a way he does, but not in that devoted and loyalty way he thinks. Yea, he helped him when nobody was there for Jameson, but he worked hard to get where he is. Asher should know what kind of man Jameson is and that he is totally worth of Emma.
After the way Jameson broke Emma’s heart, she won’t let that ruin her life and will focus on her and her future.
I loved that Jameson knew that he needed to work really hard to get Emma back, he knows she is the one but he can’t betray his best friend like this, not after all he did for him
Jameson will need to put in balance his priorities, keep being loyal to his friend or to his feelings.
My heart keeps hurting for Jameson because nothing in his life has been easy and just when he thinks is going somewhere he wanted, he ruins everything.
Will he have the chance to make it right for Emma? Will Emma forgive him after he broke her heart? Would they be willing to fight the obstacles thrown their way?
Loved the continuation of this best friend’s little sister love story.
This book is a continuation from Bad Behavior and picks up right after the MC’s break up. Jameson tried hard to stick to his guns about the break up, but seeing Emma try to move on just guts him. Emma does attempt to make him see what he’s missing out on at first, but she is miserable inside just as much as him. He can’t stay away, so he tries to see if they can at least salvage the friendship they had gotten started and uses her tutoring him for his GED as an in. What really pushes him over the edge is when Emma gets in trouble while on a date her mom encouraged her to go on. Is worrying what Emma’s brother Asher thinks worth not having her in his life? Is he really ready to commit and go public with their relationship? And when their fears are realized and there are people that don’t approve will they stand strong for their love? This book does leave us with an unresolved situation at the end and so I am anxiously awaiting a future book, maybe even about one of Jameson’s brothers, that will also contain a resolution for Emma and Jameson. I am definitely rooting for them as a couple!
The continuation of Jameson and Emma’s story after Jameson leaves her due to his friendship with her brother. It’s hard for both of them to get over the other and when Emma tries to move on, Jameson is right there. Will they stay friends or become more ? A steamy read that seems to end in another cliffhanger, not quite finished with their story but at least they are together, for how long remains to be seen. I didn’t like Emma so much in this second book, not standing up for herself, hiding the relationship, acting spoiled and letting her mom talk about others like they are gum on the bottom of shoes. For a proclaimed independent woman who wants to be a lawyer, she’s a bit immature and proves it by going out with other men where she knows Jameson will be. I do like Jameson and I liked the fact that he doesn’t stoop to Emma’s level by trying to go out with others to forget her. I’m not sure if I can handle much more drama between these two, there’s plenty in the first and second book and I don’t think it’s over yet...I just want their HEA with no more drama. 3.5 stars *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
What a page turner! I'm a huge fan of anything this author writes, but this was the much anticipated part two of the Emma & Jameson story. It was great, and super hot, and I absolutely love these two, but it wasn't the conclusion I'd hoped for. Now don't get me wrong I loved it, but with it being called a duet, I thought this would if not end the series, at least wrap up in a nice little package Emma and Jameson's part of it. So in that sense, the unfulfilled story was bothersome. The conclusion I'd hoped for was not to be yet. Thats completely fine, I just wish I'd known that going into it. It didn't ruin the book or the story and I still loved it, and I'm glad we'll see Emma and Jameson again but I had to knock it down a star for not meeting expectations on that front. By all means don't go by my word, read it and find out for yourself, you'll for sure enjoy this fun couple, and maybe I'm wrong and my expectations of a duet are wrong? At any rate, I can't wait for more of the whole crew!
The story of Jameson and Emma continues with their break up. You can feel Emma’s hurt and frustration and Jameson’s conflict with placing his assumed obligation to Asher over his feelings for Emma. There is emotion throughout the book as both Emma and Jameson struggle to adjust to stepping back their dynamic to just being friends again. After finally realizing he may have made a mistake, their situation comes to a head in a single dramatic incident that changes everything for them both and makes them realize what’s truly important.
This is an engaging conclusion to Jameson and Emma’s story. Even if you had not read the previous story in this duet "Bad Behavior", you can easily connect with the characters and storyline. I do recommend you read "Bad Beginnings", the duet's prequel, (which is FATOP) as that establishes the foundation for Jameson and Asher's friendship. The narrative of this book contains quite a bit of detail, but it flows smoothly and is fast paced with plenty of emotions, drama, and hot, steamy passion. I recommend this very enjoyable romance.
This second book in this series took my breath away! It was even more amazing than part one!!! Unbelievable! At the beginning I suffered with both protagonists, fully understanding their break-up from Jameson’s point of view but also understanding Emma’s hurt feelings.
Both characters truly are amazing personalities in every way as well in their behaviour as in their train of thoughts and their caring hearts. One would wish for this kind of friends in ones own circle of friends! The way they fight for their convincing, for what is important to them, that demands the highest respect!
The plot again had some twists and turns to keep the tension on a high level.
Ms. Wood is a master in creating authentic and loveable characters with all the strengths and weaknesses and equally exciting, suspensful and hot plots which tend to draw the readers in within only a few lines and keep them on their toes, unwilling to drop the book once they started reading. This is another must read and I really can not wait for part three in this fantastic series!
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Bad Behavior Series. In this book, we pick up Bad Behavior left off. Emma and Jameson have broken up because Jameson doesn't want to get Asher angry because he is dating his little sister. Emma is hurt and Jameson wishes things could have been different. Jameson feels guilty he hurt Emma, but he knows he owes Asher so much. When Jameson asks Emma to still help his study, she tries, but it is too hard to be around him. Emma tries to stay away from Cure, but when her friends want to go there, she knows she will see Jameson. Meanwhile, Emma's parents try to set her up with young men they find acceptable for her to marry, even though she wants to finish law school and have a career. I like this series. I think Lameson has to pick between his happiness and Asher's. I think Emma and Jameson really love each other, but Jameson feels too much pressure because of Asher. I love that Emma wants a career and doesn't let her parents force her into things. Great series.
What a wonderful conclusion to this story. I was rooting for them from the beginning.
There were parts of this book that was hard to read for me but the author wrote it in a way that made you understand where they were coming from. My biggest issue had to do with Jameson and Asher's relationship and his hands off policy. While I understand it and why Jameson feels such loyalty to him, I think that Asher is a prick most of the book and maybe did deserve it when they were younger but not now.
I loved that Emma was a bigger person and even though she was hurt by him she was willing to put that aside and still help him study for his GED because she still believed in him.
Being this book was a continuation of the first one, I feel like you really got a chance to see this couple grow as individuals and as a couple. It was fun to read.
The ending was a little abrupt but it makes me want to read more about this world.
Genre: Romance - Brother's Best Friend, second-chance Standalone: Yes and No - Bad Reputation picks up right where Bad Behavior left off. But Vivian Wood did a fantastic job of catching the reader back up Part of a Series: Yes Book 2 of 2 (and a prologue) of the Bad Behavior Duet and the beginning of the Redemption Beach Series POV: Emma and Jameson Steam Level: Hot 4/5
I've been looking forward to Bad Reputation since the end of Bad Behavior. Once I started it I devoured it in a matter of hours. Vivian Wood masterfully catches readers up with Emma and Jameson. Their story was passionate and fiery. Vivian Wood weaves in elements of class, privilege, and friendship to make this story even more gripping. Bad Reputation was a wild ride and I hope see more of Emma and Jameson's HEA in my future visits to Redemption Beach.
I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I think there should be a clear warning that there is a book 1 in this series. After finishing this book, it makes most sense that there would be a book before this, because at first read through there was a lot of plot holes that I felt were huge. Come to find out-they weren’t plot holes but instead they were probably filled in by the first book. I would advise starting with book 1, before diving into the complicated story between Jameson and Emma. There is so much push and pull between the characters, that it took over a majority of the book. It was hard not to reach through the pages and shake both characters. Aside from that, their age was definitely a big question for me as I really couldn’t pinpoint their maturity level with their dialogue and going back and forth. This is definitely a slow burn, but the end leaves things pretty open ended for a potential book 3. I would definitely Go back and read book 1, to see if my feelings have changed on Emma and Jameson.
This book really kept me engaged and turning the page to see what happened next.
Jameson and Emma's chemistry is off the charts in this book as well. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles that they encounter or will they lose what could have been the best thing to come their way?
Jameson really get an eye opener in this book when he really thinks about what has happened between him and Emma. He starts to realize how happy he was and that he wants to continue to be happy. However, will Emma let him have that chance?
Emma is not sure how to overcome what has happened with her and Jameson. However, he is there every time she turns around. Will she forgive him to possibly have a chance at her happily ever after?
I can say that I would love to read more about Emma and Jameson. However, I would also love to read the stories of the other guys in the book.
When starting this book I was confused. As if I was missing something. It wasn’t until I was halfway through the book where I finally decided to do a little digging. To find out if I was missing something. Turns out I was missing a whole book before this. This book does not mention the previous book or that you must have read the previous book. To understand what is going on in this one. I was greatly disappointed. I wasn’t able to connect with the characters. I felt as if the relationship was forced rather than it just flowing easy. I couldn’t even connect during the sexy time. One particular scene calls out to me the most. Seeing as I am Spanish speaking. My advise to the author. If you are you going to put a different language in a book. Please make sure to you are actually portraying that language correctly. The ending was the cherry on top of the cake. What I assume is the last book in the Duet. We were left with some very unresolved issues. There was no satisfaction.
Perfection! I devoured book 2 of Jameson and Emma's story! We were left with their relationship basically broken at the end of book 1, so I wasn't sure what to expect from book 2. There is a lot of tension between all of the characters, but you can see that those two just can't stay away from each other. Whether it is Emma helping Jameson study for the GED or Jameson not being about to take his eyes off Emma, especially when she is with another guy. Even then, Emma only has eyes for Jameson too! There is a lot that happens in book 2, and I am intrigued to see what is happening to the other characters as we get snippets of breakups and romances happening with them too. I assume this will be other books of the Bad Behavior series perhaps? All in all, I hope we get to see more of Jameson and Emma in the future because they are just perfect for each other.
I hope that’s not the end because I felt like I was cut off mid sentence.
Jameson and Emma hit a really rough patch there. Jame because he feels like he owes his life to Asher Emma older brother that helped him through the hardest times in his life. His loyalty goes above and beyond and Asher is really lucky to have Jameson in his life, but I don’t think he quite sees it that way when he’s done so much for the Hart brothers. And Emma deserves to be with a man that truly loves her and values her. Not just her body and as a trophy and someone to objectify, but her as a person and her intelligence. She knew all along that Jameson would be the only for her she just had to give him a little push to realize it sooner rather than later.
An amazing duet by Vivian
Disclaimer I received an arc copy for an honest and voluntary review.
