Three stars may seem mean - but I'm always mean with the stars..... I enjoyed this a lot and it was well written and an easy page turner. Enjoyed it for the characters mainly, the narrator was fun to spend time with and all the other characters also sprang to life off the page. Only complaint is that I guessed all the main plot too early on. If I had any friends who were 10 years old I would recommend it without hesitation.

Hilarious! 'The Curious Case of the Missing Orangutan' is an intriguing mystery about a boy's search for his stolen toy orangutan. Every character pops off the page and the book is full of big belly-laughs! Having read 'The Great Snail Robbery' too, I would say that Daniel Henshaw books are a must-read for fans of David Walliams and Roald Dahl.
