Back in town after being gone for 15 years, Tyler meets Kace again. They were high school sweethearts but each left and went their own way after graduation. Tyler doesn't believe her sister killed herself so she is determined to find out the truth, but that gets somebody upset. Danger swirls around the couple as Kace, who is now the sheriff, struggles to figure out what is going on while trying to keep Tyler safe. This book is filled with lots of mystery, intrigue and some danger. Rhonda Lee Carver knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their seats with her stories and this one is no exception. Will Kace and Tyler figure out what happened? Or will Tyler get caught up in some sinister things going on? If you want to know, get this book and enjoy the ride!!!

Kace and Tyler were high school sweethearts. After high school he joined the Navy and she moved to NYC to pursue a career in acting. Fifteen years later Tyler moves back to their small town where Kace is now the Sheriff. Not convinced that her sister killed herself 3 years prior, Tyler persuades Kace to reopen the case. The sparks they had when they were younger are still there, only stronger…though neither one will admit their feelings to the other. Great read to find out how their relationship endures the mystery, murder and mayhem that reopening the case brings to their quaint little town!

Claimed by the Lawman was refreshing. An older couple that meets up again only to find out they never stopped loving each other.
The way Tyler gets Kace's attention had me laughing out loud. She is a girl I could get into a lot of trouble with. She gets what she wants and will do anything to get it. Yep, she is my new BFF.
Reading about Sheriff Kase Cade and Tyler Posey kept me awake for hours. My heart broke when they moved apart 15 years ago at such a young age. Now that she is back in town, the same town Sheriff Cade protects, I waited to see if these one time young lover would reignite the passion they once had was what kept me turning pages all night long.
There is something about a sexy muscle bound lawman that can work the land with the best of cowboys, treat a woman with the softest of touches and take care of the bad guy on in a days work.
I highly recommend the entire Lawman of Wyoming Series as well as Rhonda Lee Carvers other series. Hot Cowboys and some super sexy cowgirls are all worth reading.

Rhonda Lee Carver has done it again. Claimed by the Lawman is a story filled with passion, cowboys, second chances, murder and never giving up. Tyler will go to the ends of the earth to find out what really happened to her sister, even return home and face her past. Kace is a sweet talking sexy cowboy that has been trying to forget the women who broke his heart. As these two find there way back to each other can they also find out what happend to Tyler's sister before Tyler suffers the same fate.

OMG, this is a great second chance love story. I couldn't put it down. Tyler left her hometown to persue her dreams leaving her heart behind. Kace had stolen her heart but it wasn't enough to keep her there. Now she's back in town and he won't let her go again. When Tyler's safety is threatened, it is up to him to keep her safe. Will Kace be able to put the pieces together before it's too late? This story is HOT, full of suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Kace and Tyler were high school sweethearts and Tyler left for New York to pursue her acting while Kace went into the military and then law enforcement. Fast forward 15 years and Tyler wants Kace who is Sheriff now to reopen the case about her sisters death. While investigating the case, they both grow close again and realize they are still in love with one another. This book is a little bit of mystery with a sexy Lawman and the love of his life! Another wonderful read by Rhonda Carver ❤️

Holding true, this book was every bit as good as each one in the series! Full of suspense and enough heated passion to make it sizzle. Kace and Tyler had me rooting for them from the beginning. Book gifted to me.

I wanted to like this one, but a combination of not connecting with the writing and enough editing errors to make me cringe, after chapter 3 I skipped to the end. I had hoped that I would find I connected with it there and could go back and keep reading, but that wasn't the case for me. Although the characters were interesting and the premise was definitely interesting, ultimately I just didn't connect with the writing and so it didn't work for me. To be honest, the characters also sometimes annoyed me.

After reading the diary, realizing evidence has gone missing, and other peculiarities Kace decides to interview the ex sheriff. When suspicious things start happening to Tyler and her family, Kace vows to protect the one that got away.
I absolutely LOVED this story! The angst of loving, then losing love only to realize you never really knew what love was until she returned to town...The suspense and numerous plot twists only enriched the story. I highly recommend this novel! I received a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

This is an intriguing and suspenseful story. Kace is stubborn, insecure, intense and vulnerable. Tyler is determined, independent and unsure. They fell in love as kids, but neither one said anything, so when they went their separate ways, they both believed the other broke their heart. When Tyler comes to town to convince Kace to solve her sister's death, he resists, knowing he never got over her, and spending time with her would hurt too much. Tyler is determined to make him do it though, and once he starts investigating, he finds more questions than answers. When Tyler is threatened, Kace knows there's more to the story and gets serious, with the case and with Tyler. The mystery of what's going on, who's involved and why it's happening is a truly fascinating story. Kace and Tyler are likable characters, but both are a little frustrating, each blaming the other for the breakup, but Tyler is worse, blaming Kace for not telling her how he felt when she didn't either. But it's still an amazing story.

Sheriff Kace Cade lost his heart years ago to Tyler Posey. He wanted forever but she wanted the lights of Broadway. Now she's back home with an agenda, re-open her sister's suicide case. The problem is getting Kace to listen to her, he's been avoiding her very successfully.
I have to say she was quite creative in getting his attention. I was giggling a bit when Kace found her in his jail cell.
Both Kace and Tyler are stubborn and letting the past color the present. The one thing they're lacking is real communication. Understandable as teenagers, but not now they're adults.
Tension racks up as evidence in Suzy's death is discovered to be missing. When Kace starts questioning the former sheriff things start getting interesting.
A fire, an attack on Tyler leave no doubt they're on the right path. Kace has to ensure her safety even as the heat between them hits inferno.
Fast paced, with plenty of fluctuating emotions, suspense and heat.

Very interesting read - I had trouble putting it down! Tyler comes back home to get the new sheriff to look into her sister’s supposed suicide. Except the new sheriff is her high school boyfriend, the love of her life and the one who got away. Likewise, she is the love of Kace Cade’s life and the one that got away. Can they put aside the hurt and upset from 15 years before and find their love again. Oh, and there is the matter of her dead sister, a diary that gives some clues, missing suicide note, branding, and more. Suspense, strong emotions, stolen cattle, and branding – it will definitely keep you turning those pages!
Ms. Carver writes a compelling story. The characters are interesting and easy to identify with. Well worth the read!

There is never a time that I hesitate to read one of Rhonda’s books. The Lawmen of Wyoming series keeps me riveted to my chair. A love story in the making along with loads of action and suspense.
Kace and Tyler’s story is a second chance romance. Due to miscommunication, they’ve been apart for 15 years. Tyler has finally come home and now that Kace is sheriff, she wants him to reopen the case of her deceased sister to prove it was murder and not a suicide.
Their conversations at times were hilarious, their chemistry was off the charts steaming and the sex scenes were sizzling !! Great job Rhonda, I absolutely loved it. ❤️❤️ You always catch the bad guys!!😉

As the new sheriff in town Kace had a full plate but he couldn't resist helping Tyler. Together they uncover something much bigger than they expected. They even consider a second chance but Kace is cautious because he knows she wanted to leave to have a career on stage and if a man squashes a woman's dreams he crushes a bit of her soul. He's not sure he can take her breaking his heart a second time.

What a spectacular book ! It has everything a person could want,a Western setting,a lot of romance and even more mystery.The Sheriff’s former girlfriend is back in town,seeking his help in reopening the case of her sister’s suicide,convinced she didn’t take her own life,a few years past.Without a lot to go on,he balks at the idea,but then things start to happen.And that’s where it really starts getting good.Will they find out what really happened,will they get back together? The only way to find out is to read this book! I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as I.

Rhonda Lee Carver can honestly not write a bad book in my opinion. And I LOVE me a good second chance/high school sweatheart book.
Tyler and Kace have a past, and it's safe to say that the flames didn't die out long ago when Tyler left town. Now she's back in town and stirring things up with Kace and the town.
The book is full of some mystery, suspense, and drama, but even better the HEAT between the two of them is off the charts. Loved this book! I highly recommend reading the first three books in this series as well, you will not be disappointed!

Tyler and Kace were definetely a stubborn pair that had both been hurt and didn’t want to go there again. I loved that Kace was willing to do whatever she needed to in order to find answers for her family. Even when it meant facing Tyler. I loved that Tyler wasn’t an ass about caring and listening to Kace.
What got me best about the story was the intrigue and suspense. While you keep guessing at the bad people and the back story, you really don’t know it until the end. This was definitely worth the read!

Romantic, sweet, passionate and suspenseful, this book has no trouble capturing and keeping your interest. A second chance romance that is beautifully blended with mystery, drama and humor to create a story that is gripping and emotional. Tyler and Kace are complex, likable characters, that share steamy chemistry. Together they make a perfect couple, and a book that was a fantastic read! I'm posting a totally voluntary, honest review.

I did receive an ARC copy of this book. I chose to review it. I loved the book. I have loved this series. This book is well written. Even knowing it is book four in this series it doesn't focus on the series characters. There is a touch of suspense to this book it is what makes the story. I don't do spoilers so get the book and see what I am talking about. This one is well worth your time. I know when I see Rhonda Lee Carvers name on a book I will be getting a great story!

"Claimed by the Lawman" (Lawmen of Wyoming Book 4) by Rhonda Lee Carver is a great read. I enjoyed Kace & Tyler's story! This book is a great addition to this series, packed with action, drama, hot lawmen, romance, passion, second chances, suspense, close family, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next with these characters. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, suspense, lawmen, and series.

Didn’t think this series could get any better, but once again characters that draw you in and have you hoping a 15 year separation can be overcome.

Another great story in the Lawmen of Wyoming series you don't want to put down. Tragic and greed keep you turning the pages to find out who the bad guys are in the end. Tyler loved Kace fifteen years ago but left town to follow a dream. Tragic brings her back home to find answers and Kace being the sheriff she can only turn to him for answers. Perfectly paced story with action to keep you guessing.

I enjoyed the interesting storyline of Claimed by the Lawman, but I wasn't a fan of the main characters. Tyler and Kace were unsure of themselves and sent a lot of mixed signals. Although I've enjoyed all of the books in the Lawmen of Wyoming series, Kace is my least favorite Cade brother. Zander from Wanted by the Lawman is still my favorite! Rating: 3.5 stars

Rhonda Lee Carver is one of my favorite authors, and this story just reinforces that opinion. She writes believable, lovable characters that feel like friends.
Kace and Tyler parted fifteen years earlier because neither one was brave enough to tell the other how they truly felt. Now, they’re back in town together trying to solve a mystery.
This is a second-chance story, but it is so much more. It’s filled with love, heat, mystery, and danger. I highly recommend this book!

Who doesn't love a Hot , SEXY, Alpha Sheriff. Kace's love of his life is back after 15 years wanting him to reopen her sister's case. Her sister did not commit suicide no matter what the previous sheriff said. Tyler knew her sister had issues but she wouldn't kill herself. This story had a lot of twist and turns. Attempted murder, kidnapping, threats, and who done it. I thought had it figured out but I was wrong.

Sad to say that I did not connect with this one at all. I was frustrated with the characters, yawned through the sex and bored by the villain.
Carver still needs to hire an editor. Her books are full of ridiculous errors that the writer should pick up when rereading it and she spells words as she hears them, often incorrectly. She could do with an occasional Google check to verify facts and phrases.

This was the first book I've read by Ms Carver and I really enjoyed it. Second chance romantic suspense. Tyler and Kace were high school sweethearts, Tyler left for New York to follow her dreams of becoming a star and Kace left for the Navy. Now there back home trying to solve her sisters suspicious death. Lots of suspense, sexy scenes and a good story to boot.
