This type of story centered around law (and love/lust) is my kryptonite. Reid Matheson is a law professor and Addison Mitchell is his (older) law student. She's two weeks away from graduation. They secretly have a thing for one another and neither of them crosses the line -- until THAT dress. Yes, the red number that Addison wears to a client event gets her VERY noticed by Professor Matheson. THAT dress refuses to be ignored -- either coming (the girls are front and center) or going (low down to there plunging back). The dress SPEAKS volumes and whispers ... Well, what are YOU waiting for Professor Matheson? or Is it more like ... come and get it? Either way, it did its job, or should I say, the number -- did a number on him.

I liked the mystery that officially brings them together and I was invested in finding out who was behind it all. Lastly, the hero's friend Joe was grasping at straws and his argument wouldn't hold up in court, no codes were broken. I'd love to read more about this couple and I'd be interested in reading a story that's centered around Joe too. Highly Recommended: Read It.

I was completely intrigued and taken back by this one. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the storyline. Reid and Addison are so cute. The way they mesh and are insync with each other is extraordinary. They overcome a few obstacles and stay strong together! I totally enjoyed this one! Thank you!

This is my first book by this author, and let me just say that I am pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters and the author's writing style. It is a forbidden romance between law professor Reid Matheson and paralegal/3rd year law student Addison Mitchell. Quite well written and sexy, it is a heartwarming love story with realistic characters, and just enough drama and steam to keep the reader interested. It is a journey of self-discovery as Reid and Addison work through their issues and overcome the challenges that face their relationship. This story is layered with drama, intrigue, frustrating moments, some twists and sizzling chemistry. A solid read all around with heart, heat, and a bit of fate to orchestrate a happy ending.

Really enjoyed this novella. I didn't have any hot professors myself, but Lord, I can only imagine how scandalous it would have been to get involved with any while you're actually still in their class AND working with them as well. We get into that in this steamy story. Despite that complication, it keeps your attention. Has a fun backstory as well and there's lots of sizzle between Professor Reid Matheson and 3rd year law student/legal clerk Addison Mitchell. Only 10 or 11 years age difference, so we're not talking a young girl who knows nothing about the world, she's in her mid 20s or so and he's in his mid 30s. I was into it and enjoyed their banter as well. Fun read and sexy love scenes!

Is a very accomplished lawyer who does consulting when needed. He is also a law professor because he loves it. He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it. Now he can finally get what he's been wanting for three years

Can their relationship go further then "one night"?

And Can Reid protect Addison with what is going on at her law firm?

This certainly isn't your typical boy meets girl, but it is certainly worth a read

This is a heart warming story about a young law student who fancies her law professor and comes to find out the feeling is mutual. Things start going wrong though with an ex-wife, a jealous boyfriend, an even more jealous baby mama and millions of dollars being embezzled. This certainly isn't your typical boy meets girl, but it is certainly worth a read. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because, I personally, like an epilogue at the end of a book and this doesn't have one.

Intense and Hot

Reid and Addison had an interesting relationship. He was one of her law professors and they both were attracted to the other but neither knew it. To further complicate things Addison worked at a law firm that Reid consulted for and that was the catalyst for the inferno to be lit.

The story was well written but a few things were inaccurate with the law firm. It took nothing away from the story. I caught it because I am a paralegal and know how law firms work. This was my second book by Hadley Raydeen. I like her style and really enjoyed this tale.

Addison is a paralegal and law student and Ried is her Professor the chemistry between these two was smoking hot and even though they tried to ignore it they could not avoid it forever but when they finally give in not everyone is happy about it. Law and disorder

I liked that people were smart, savy and independent. All the twists did not take away the love growing between Reid and Addison. Kayla and miss witch were something else. They ruined their own careers out of jealousy. Doesn't pay to cheat and steal from the place you work.

Law partners

Addison is a paralegal and law student, Reid is her law professor. They've been trying to ignore their attraction for each other but that changes at a party. Reid is helping his friend try to figure out why his firm is losing money and try to insure Addison is not involved. Trying to keep p their growing relationship secret, Reid and Addison can't keep their hands off each other and some people are not happy about it.

This is my second book to read by Author Hadley Raydeen. The overall storyline was good. I would have enjoyed a little more to the 3-year background of student Addison Mitchell and Professor Reid. For awhile, I began to wonder if there was anyone that Addison could truly trust. It seemed as though everyone had eyes on her, either for her beauty or her brains. Arlene, her superior, was a witchy shark. Secrets, lies, jealousy, conspiracy; what a story!

Jealousy is an evil curse!

Addison Mitchell was an almost graduated law student working as a legal intern for a prestigious law firm in New York. What she did not know was that she was being set up as an embezzler from that firm. Two co-workers where jealous of her relationship with their men and wanted so much to tear her down. Arlene, the law partner Addie was working for, was a witch off a woman, wanting the attention of law professor Reid Matheson but he only had eyes for Addison. He'd been watching her for the past three years she was in law school and now that she was close to graduating as one of his top students, he was staking his claim. Addie, likewise had her eyes on the professor too but knew such relations were forbidden and had a battle of the minds about getting inolved. Her fellow intern at the firm, was also causing trouble as well. Even though they were study partners,she only had eyes for Reid.

Upon finding what his best friend Joe, at the firm thought was going on, he felt he had to protect his live interest to make sure she was not framed.

Hadley wrote a quick easy read about two people trying to manage a new love relationship that was forbidden between professor and student, even though the student only had a couple of weeks before graduating. They had to figure out how to deal with women scorned who were trying to take them all down in the process.

Reid and Addison have been secretly pining away for each other for the past three years, while Addison was in several of Reid's classes throughout her time in school. Will Addison and Reid allow their forbidden attraction to come to fruition or do they deny themselves from finding out what could happen if they let go. Reid also has a secret agenda that no one knows about except the person who hired him to do the job. To find out more of this intriguing story and to see if Addison and Reid allow their forbidden attraction to come to fruition you simply have to read this book!!!

Great

Great story. Loved the main characters, Reid and Addison. The soon to be ex-wife and her assistant were unbelievable. John was a sad excuse for a boyfriend. This is a must read.
