Despite some lovely artwork and character design on the hero, this manga did not land. The hero is out for revenge and our heroine is basically a pushover - this plot variation has been done before and as it often happens the guy comes across as an ass. Combine that with the short length of these manga comics and the overwhelming feeling I got was one of annoyance. There is a time jump in the middle which was interesting but it couldn’t save the manga for me.

Nonetheless, within the trope this manga follows, it’s well done in terms of art and general writing. Recommended for those who don’t get annoyed by the blackmailing trope.

I should also add that the synopsis doesn’t have anything to do with the plot. The heroine is suspected of. There is a mention of the hero’s brother dying but there is no jail time. And she was not suspected of killing her employer. I think this description of the comic is not correct at all.
