What’s better than meeting a rough, rugged, sexy as sin Mountain Man? Discovering that he has a twin brother…
Dolly I had the perfect life. Or at least I thought I did. There’s nothing more soul crushing then learning your fiancé of three years a lying, cheating bastard. So what do I do? I hop in my car and drive…searching for an escape. Two long days later, I find myself in the middle of the Colorado wilderness and face to…chest…with not one, but TWO, insanely hot mountain men. Tan, bearded, and covered in denim and flannel, they look exactly like the kind of short-term remedy my broken heart needs. But this is just temporary, right?
Hunter/Lachlan Wild Woods Retreat. The dream we made into a reality. Our life is good. Simple. Easy. Or it was, before her. She doesn’t fit in here. She’s made for fine silk, pretty jewels and fancy parties. So why then does she fit so perfectly in our arms? She says this is temporary. The kisses. The touches. All of it. Yeah, right. We aren’t looking for a fling. We want Dolly for keeps. We’ll just have to convince her to give up her city life and embrace her wild side.
**Her Twin Mountain Men is a standalone steamy, uber-sexy, knock-your-socks-off MFM menage. If you like wild mountain men, covered in flannel, and a little romance, this is for you. No cheating. HEA.**

I am the type of person that once I start, I have to finish. The men were complete assholes in Piper’s book and Dolly just seemed weak to me so I really wasn’t looking forward to reading this. It turned out that Lachlan is a major asshole. He made dolly cry at least 3 times by belittling her feelings and she just forgives him instantly. He really needs to work on himself and get past his own issues. The one thing I can say about this author is that she is consistent. Sadly, that isn’t a good thing. A lot of writers find a formula that works for them and stick with it. The difference is you can’t have every character repeat the same things. Complete sentences have been copied in every book. They all can’t have the same experiences. Reading the birthing scenes makes me think she has no idea how actual birth is. Also, who in the world gets pregnant three months after having triplets? Every woman gives up everything for the heroes and the heroes sacrifice nothing. There is no compromise. The author wants the traditional homemaker. I want everyone to be their own person but that isn’t the case with these books. It’s like the women give up being who they are to have sex 24/7 which I do not find appealing at all. This author writes novellas so I know you can’t fit a lot in but whenever a bad thing in the past is finally brought up it is never spoken about again. You would think that would be the one thing explained and fleshed out. I am starting to feel like this author just uses rape as a tool to make the story more interesting. If at least 50% of the sex scenes were cut out we could actually get to know the characters. Also, can we stop having characters fall in love after a couple of days? Not only falling in love but selling everything and moving after barely knowing each other. Overall, this author’s writing is very juvenile and needs an editor. Maybe in time she will get better and have the story be as good as the description sounds.
This story was written poorly. Dialogue was too simple to be adult speech, the storyline didn't unfold, and there were more errors than anything I've ever read. A colossal disappointment.
This is my first book by this author. The story had promise, but was ruined by all of the grammar and spelling errors. I was constantly having to read sentences more than once to try and make sense of what was written. Lost interest fast and DNF.
This is the second book that I read by Shae and I am really glad that I bought this one. She is a really gifted writer that will take you on a wonderful ride with her books. I will most definitely be reading more of her work. It is a shame that she has not gotten more positive reviews. Other than a few grammatical errors. Not that many as to make me really scratch my head and go ‘huh?’. I am going to be reading this one again and again for the simple fact that there were places where I laughed so loud and hard that my animals looked at me like I had lost my mind. Granted that is another debatable subject but not with this story. I enjoy reading stories like this were the plot is not based on sex and sex alone. I am an old lady and of course I wonder how in the world someone could do it as many times and ways as these young ladies with multiple partners. I can barely keep up with my husband much less try and walk from the back door to the car now a days. And are there really men that big out there? Okay back to the story. The first part tells of poor Dolly (not Dolores she hates that name). Was just picking out her wedding dress she leaves for her next appointment then finding out her she had to cancel it. She goes home and sees Steven’s her fiancee’s car in the driveway. She is excited, he as been working more and more lately and it has been months since they have made love together; much less have had a conversation. She goes in side and there is his briefcase and shoes and next to them a pair of red high heals. Going upstairs she hear those sounds that you should only be hearing from your partner and yourself coming out of her bedroom. There is Steven going full steam into someone else. Oh, and who would that someone else be, but her one and only best friend from second grade Becca. Needless to say both are kicked out of her bedroom and house. He wasn’t really living there so he didn’t have that much to take out. Thank goodness. She also gave Becca the engagement ring telling her she could have it along with Steven. There are so many thing to cancel but must of she just has to get away and clear her head. And drive she did without thinking really from New Your somewhere in Colorado. It it were not for Siri (I love Siri) that tell her the nearest place to stay which is Wild Wood Resort. That is where she is headed after going down the pothole filled twisting dirt roads finally coming to the paved road and a main house of the retreat where she meets the owners Hunter and Lach (Lacklan) Kilgor.
Hunter introduced himself and his twin brother Lachlan. Hunter shook her hand Lach just stared at her wouldn’t shake her hand. It unnerved her a bit especially after what she had just been through. Hunter though felt an instant connection with her, he knew that his brother would have felt it too but was afraid of it. Hunter took her to her room, told her it was a retreat not a resort. If she wanted a fire in her room she would have to chop her own wood. Told her when they gathered at the mess hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the bonfire at night. Most important was thing was she was not to go hiking in the woods alone without one of them. There were bear, mountain lions and other dangerous things in the woods. It is not that Lachlan didn’t like Dolly, it was the opposite he did and that is where the problem lies. Something happened to him long ago that haunts him to this day. There are only two other people that know what happened to him. His brother Hunter and his cousin Maddox. Hunter tells him that he needed to go an apologize to her for the way he treated her when she arrived. Lach really doesn’t talk to people the person that does all of the emotion stuff is his brother. That is how the compliment each other they are like two pieces of a puzzle when together the make up a whole. Lach goes to her cabin followed by Hunter one thing leads to another and wam-bam there you go...happy days are here again. Later that evening after everyone else has left the bonfire Dolly sat on Lach’s lap and she tells them what had happened a few short days before and how she turned up at the Retreat. Lach was going to tell to open up to her just as he was about the he chickened out and got all snarky. He put her on the log next to him and told it was his business and he wasn’t going to tell anyone his business. Did he hurt her feelings by being mean? Yes. Could Hunter get back to Dolly and sooth things over before Lach ruins what the were just starting. They had finally found their forever girl or were they going to lose her in one day. They there is a terrible bear attach were one of them is almost lost to the others. What happens in the days and weeks the follow are at times down right hysterical. At one point karma comes to someone in a dress suit that drives a Lexis. That in my point of view was one of the best karma’s of all the different karma’s that happen in this story. I hope that makes sense. This was such a wonderful escape from the real world. I loved it.
Her Twin Mountain Men is the story of Dolly (Dolores), Lachlan, and Hunter.
Her fiancé cheats on her with her best friend Becca and she leaves for some me time and is greeted with two mouthwatering men. She tries to say it’s just sex but for them she’s the one. Lachlan is a virgin with a bad past but is a good person and Hunter is the cocky nice one. Lachlan has had oral but never done it inside a woman and just watched to which I was amazed. They do it and she accepts that it’s not just sex, I think. The next day I think she spills about why she came to Wild Woods and Lachlan said something that was so rude and that she should just get over it and she was sad and ran away and Hunter blew up. The next day she went for a hike at a dangerous place and they went to go get her and found her skinny dipping and did it in the water. After they leave to continue at the cabins, Hunter is clawed by a bear and nearly dies but he doesn’t and is safely okay. Bro he was so whiny when the doc said no sex and they all refrained it was so funny. And the part where he was cleared after and he was high because she gave him the wrong pills and so he pulled his pants down in front of the nurse Daniel. BAHAHAHA. They went to a hotel and they all were satisfied. Um so her ex comes back when she’s sick and they all fight him of and she pukes on him which is disgusting but fun. Turns out after a few weeks is that she’s pregnant with triplets. 2 boys and a girl.

Shea Sullivan penned a delightful character-driven romance with Her Twin Mountain Men. Will they find happiness? Will there be any obstacles in their romantic journey? You must read this book to find out.
I found Ms. Sullivan’s writing style easy to follow. Her characters are likeable. She does a remarkable job with this ménage relationship. I like how she perfectly blends drama and humor through her use of literary devices such as POV, dialog, and descriptive language. Nice job, Ms. Sullivan!
This is supposed be a romance. All the gross scenes and language was off putting. Very much so. I don't want sex scenes in a romance unless they're between the main characters. I don't know why all that talk needed to be used but there was so much of it I had to stop reading
I loved the story! I didn’t want to put it down until it was finished.. however, it had a lot of errors and it contradicted the book about Maddox and Ryder. They weren’t moonshiners in their book and dolly only gave birth to twins in their book as well. But other than that I really liked this book.
Ms Sullivan has written another amazing menage story. I want to ask her if she's in one of these relationships because of knowing so much about them..But I know that's mine of my business. Maybe if I was a few years younger it might look different. Ms Sullivan makes you think another way. Her stories give you things to think about.
To me, proofreading is part of the quality of writing! Ms. Sullivan needs a better proofreader!! The story itself was good. The intimacy scenes weren't over the top. The characters were believable and well rounded. No cheating or cliffhanger and you get a happy ever after. Enjoy
This was a great story, but it had several grammar errors in every chapter it seemed. It still deserves the stars bc of the storyline although “insta I’m in love after looking at you for 5 minutes” was a stretch but after that it was much better. Coulda used some polish and it would shine!
I felt like the storyline was rushed. One minute she's breaking up with her ex-fiancé and the next she's in love. It is my understanding that the 'love at first sight' cliche should have had indicators and a build up to the event in the story. It definitely qualifies as my least favorite Shae Sullivan book.
Would have given this book another star of two if it weren't for the proof reading or lack thereof.. Missing words, the wrong words as well as numerous spelling mistakes makes it a hard book to get through. It's a good thing this book was free.
Story line average at best. And I find the constant spelling and grammatical errors quite irritating. A simple spell check would hàve covered a lot of it quite easily.
this was fun to read, when you find your soul mate it is amazing. but what happens when your soulmate is a duo... this happens... dive in and read a story of deception, despair, amazement, love lust and finally trust...
The story was great. I fell for the twins as soon as I met them. I liked the author's style of writing . But. However, the editing was horrible. It took add from the story and made my rating less
The twins own and operate a retreat in the mountains. She stumbles in after running away from her cheating fiancé. The fireworks begin, but continue to erupt between the three.
The premise of the books have huge potential. However someone needs to proof read these much better. The typos are way too much and take away from the story. As well as the stories need to be consistent and in order.
This book was great. We see how Dolly moves on from the betrayal that she witnessed. Can she find what she needs. Will tge retreat be a blessing or a curse.
