Stopped reading in chapter 3
It was bad enough when Derek was trying to pick up women (not his intended HEA), but when he actually slept with someone else, actually three women at once, I stopped reading. Outside the relationship sex is disgusting. Is this supposed to be sexy? It isn't and doesn't make me like Derek or want to read more or about him or want him to end up with someone. He's a disgusting manwhore, and those do not belong in romance novels. At all. It's nasty and disturbing, a huge turn off, makes me stop reading, gets each book like this a one star rating, and it's a horrible thing to put in a romance. Put that garbage in erotica and make sure to label it as such and as having outside the relationship sex. At least warn people so they can make an informed decision about reading. I will rate any book like this with no warning with one star. Warn us, I can avoid it, and no harm done. Better yet, write actual romances without this trash.

Derek is a one night stand kind of man. He doesn’t want to have just one woman. He doesn’t have time and doesn’t want anyone getting hurt. That is until Penny and Evelyn get in the way of The Hand in the back alley of a bar.
Derek takes the two back to their place as Penny is upset and mad and Evelyn sort of likes Derek.
Evelyn and Derek start hitting it off but The Hand causes a lot of trouble. Can Derek keep Evelyn safe? Can they get Jason to come back tp the MC and not work for The Hand?
Another good read in the series. The only issue I have is Jason is not Maria’s son like it says in this book. In the first book Maria is Ryder’s sister and Jason’s aunt. They are taking care of Jason since his father, Ryder and Maria’s brother, passed away in the MC.
The authors need to remember what they wrote in the fist 4.

Awesome
I totally loved Evelyn and Derek’s story. Danger, death, love with twist and turns that kept me intrigued and riveted to every page. Characters that pulled me in and made be feel their pain and fear as they fight for their life. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read

i read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book. This is the fifth book in the Lost Breed MC series. In this book, the Lost Breed are trying to avenge Hyde after he was murdered by The Devil's Hand. Derek learns The Hand will be released from jail without being charged for Hyde's death and vows to kill him himself. All of the Lost Breed want to kill The Hand and they form a plan to get him when he is at a club after his release. When They all get The Hand into the alley where they plan to kill him, there are two women there getting fresh air. Penny and Evelyn are out celebrating Evelyn's new job and when they go to get some air, The Hand sees the men after him and takes Evelyn hostage as a way to get out of the alley. When The Hand gets away, Derek drives the women home to make sure they are safe while the others go after The Hand. Derek leaves his number with Evelyn and tells her to call if she needs him. Evelyn is attracted to Derek, but knows he is trouble. When The Hand makes another appearance, Evelyn calls Derek and he comes for him. Derek and Evelyn get closer and they face the danger together. Meanwhile, Ryder learns his missing nephew Jason is working for The Hand. This book is action packed and i couldn't put it down. Another great one.

Derek is the fifth book in The Lost Breed Series and is a part of The Lost Breed MC Box Set (Books #1 - 10). I binged this series back-to-back and found a dark MC romance series with all the ingredients needed to make for engrossing reading. Everything from action, violence, revenge, intrigue, drama, danger, tension, bad boys, high stakes, emotion, chemistry, steam, suspense, challenges, angst, family dynamic/drama, sweet and tender scenes, vulnerability, passion, band of brothers, sinister foes, agendas, secrets, and more. And with all the tropes that we know and love like opposites attract, second chances, protective Alpha-type males, damsels in distress, chosen family, ride-or-die, finding love unexpectedly, single parent, risking it all for love, redemption, eye for an eye, romantic suspense, and good girl/bad boy ---- just to name a few.
This was such a great introduction to the author’s work, and even though this is my first time between her covers, it certainly won’t be the last.
If you love MC romance and all the sexy, intriguing, suspenseful details that come with a band of bad boy finding their ‘one’- then this is definitely the books/series for you.

The MC Lost Breed saga continues and this one about Derek who finally meets a woman, Evelyn, he wants all to himself. Evelyn gets mixed up with Derek when the Hand gets released from prison and starts havoc once again against the MC. This time he has the nephew, Jason, of the President doing his bidding and Jason starts going after Derek who has known him since he was a kid. When the Hand shows up at Evelyn’s work, she calls Derek to let him know which gets out of hand as soon as the two face off. It’s far from over with the threat of the Hand and now Jason turning his back on the MC...who will come out on top.
A great read with steam, violence, some suspense and action. I didn’t mind Derek even though he was a big man wh*** from the first pages but as soon as he found Evelyn, he turned around as he finally found the one just like the others. I liked Evelyn, a woman who showed her courage at the appropriate times and didn’t give up. The ending is far from over as it seems like the story of the MC will continue.

Another amazing book in this series. With each new character that you bring us we see a whole new side of what it means to be a family. In tia one we get to know Derek a whole lot better. He comes off as this badass but once you get to know him through Evelyn's eyes, well it's a no brainer. He's this loving, caring, would do anything for you and kick butt to help those he loves. Evelyn is the perfect match for him. She tough, strong and takes no crap from anyone. They show the world that you can live through anything and come out ok. By the end of the book we see so much happen that we never expect the whole MC family to survive but they do. I can't wait to see who comes next in this series. I've had the privilege of reading almost all of them and I can truly say this one comes close to being my favorite. Congratulations Ali. I give it 5 stars. Where to start with this book.... Derek is perfect! The perfect mix of dark aggression, witty banter and hot romance.
Derek is beautiful & dangerous with a great “I’m a bad man and I’m not too sure about this love stuff, but it sure feels good...” attitude. Evie is wonderfully insecure and totally unaware of her own badass-ness! Shes’s feisty and sweet with a huge streak of bring-it-on! I absolutely loved reading about them.
The story is gritty, beautifully written, edgy and keeps you gasping with shock and awe. At one point, I even cheered for our star-crossed-lovers, outloud and while on a train.... This book really draws you in with its depths of emotions and passion! I’m very grateful I wasn’t reading a saucy scene at the time, I think those made me moan aloud, just a little bit.... they are so hot!

In a night that he was gonna be able to finish the Lost Breed’s number one enemy Evelyn and Penny get in the way. He can’t walk away he has to save her, help her.
Evelyn, her parents disowned her. She didn’t fit their bill for becoming a lawyer but she tried for them. After 2yrs. she just couldn’t do it anymore so she quit and her parents kicked her to the curb. She ends up at her BFF’s Penny’s apartment, sleeping on her couch, no job. She ends up with a job at a cigar bar so it’s time to celebrate right? That night at the nightclub changes her life forever. Is it the life she wants? You definitely want to read this, you won’t be able to put it down. Hang on to another rollercoaster ride.

I am loving the way this series is heating up! When the Lost Breeds' chance of eliminating their nemesis is foiled, the MC and their women are all at risk. Evelyn is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She and her roommate just want an evening to celebrate a happy event. Again in this book, tension runs high and no one is safe. Evelyn turns out to be wildly attracted to Derek, who really doesn’t want to bring a woman into their world. But Evelyn (and her fire extinguisher) shows she can fit in quite well. The storyline is ongoing. You could probably read this as a standalone and catch up but if you like MC series, this is one worth reading in order to avoid spoilers.

A real page turner!
Yet another outstanding book by Ali Parker. Derek and the MC hang have just learned that the guy (The Hand) that killed one of their own is getting out of jail - after only a few weeks! They have to take this guy down asap.
Evelyn and her friend Pennie go out to celebrate her new job. Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time. The girls get caught up in the MC's plot to take out The Hand that night. The only good thing is it brought Derek and Evelyn together.
It's a fast paced, hang on the edge of your seat page turner. Can the MC catch The Hand, who seems to have control over Jason, Rider's missing nephew? How many more loved will be taken before all of this ends? Great book!

Great!
I chose this rating because this is a pretty good book and I really enjoyed it. I really like most of the characters is well. This was a book about compassion, protection, and revenge. Derek on the Lost Breeds they want revenge on a man called the Hand because he killed one of their MC brothers. Through all of that Derek met Evelyn and they started a relationship. And they really started to truly love one another. Wouldn't you know would he come the enemy. Through it all they didn't get them though but there's another book coming and they're going to get them this time I believe. There was a lot of romance going on this book as well. Great read, I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

There is just something so unbelievably attractive about a bad boy who’s also a good man. The Parker’s have designed an entire club made up of these kinds of men. Derek is just the latest in the line. Something about the suave playboy has left me anticipating his book from the moment he first stepped onto the page. I couldn’t wait to see what kind of remarkable woman would be able to fix his attention. Evelyn is every bit as remarkable as I was expecting. She’s a free spirit than doesn’t realize she’s as strong and capable as she really is. The set up for what looks like is coming next in the series means I want that next book NOW.

The Hand is doing more and more damage to the Lost Breed crew and they want to take him down.
Derek finally has come up with a plan to make this happen, things go off when two women stumble into the middle not knowing what is going on. When Derek brings them home he gives them his number and says if anything happens or you need me call me. Penny wants nothing to do with him ever again however Evelyn is quite drawn to the sexy bad boy. Derek is interested but has never felt the need to settle down.. When Evelyn gets put in danger how much will it effect Derek and how far will he go to protect her?
This story while a stand alone makes more sense if you read them all as there is a building plot with The Hand..

Hyde’s killer is released on bail and Derek is out for revenge until he meets Evelyn and he begins to realize that he has a lot more to loose than he first thought. It becomes a race against time when it becomes clear the Lost Breeds have a target on their backs and so do their women. Full of revenge, danger, laughs, fears, doubts, passion, and love. Derek will have readers captivated from beginning to end. They won’t want to put this new novel down.

Derek: (A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance) (The Lost Breed MC Book 5) by Ali Parker & Weston Parker. This is the story of Derek Baxter and Evelyn East. Aaannddd... it’s awesome, I just couldn’t put it down!! It keeps you intrigued until the very end. There’s danger, angst, murder, loss, drama, finding love and hot steamy nights. Definitely recommend this book and definitely looking forward to reading more from these authors. There's never a miss from this writing team, nothing but hits. There's the grit you would expect from an MC story, but there's also this awesome undercurrent of "ride-or-die" connection. Family is what you make it, and these people take care of each other. The story grips you from word one, and it's a ride and a half from then on. Never a dull moment, never an eye roll at the dialogue. Derek and Evie are both strong and endearing, their romance is swoony and HAWWWTTT (no cheating)!! I loved it, highly recommend it, great addition to this interconnected series.

I truly love the MC series. This story about Derek and Evelyn who meet by chance during a MC call to action against an arch enemy of the MC club. Evelyn is considered a free spirit and is quick to take a chance to get to know Derek. Derek is bent on taking revenge against the person that killed his friend Hyde. Derek is soon protecting Evelyn against his arch enemy, Hand aka Isaac. I love the MC series however I wanted the story to be longer and the MC club problem to be resolved.

Another fantastic book! I love the Lost Breed series. Derek is smoking hot and only thinks he wants one night stands up until he meets the beautiful Evelyn in the alley behind a club where a mad man has her. Things just heat up from there. This book kept me on my toes all the way through. Derek is betrayed and hurt. His and Evelyn's life is put in danger and both almost meet their end. This book has excitement, happiness, true friendship, sadness from loss, and a whole lot of steam! I can't wait to read the next one in this series.

Another great addition to the Lost Breed series. Derek finally meets a woman who is strong, confident and isn't afraid to stand up for herself or others but now is just not the right time. Evelyn has a run in with The Hand who is the man taunting the Lost Breed for some time now. Will she get away with her life or will he take someone else's? It's another well written story about this group of people who depend upon each other through thick and thin, death and birth and everything in between. When The Hand gets away what will happen to the MC? I guess we will have to wait to find out....

Derek is a big, bad MC club member, that is also sweet with a heart of gold. Sexy! Evelyn is a sweet, past law school student, that has some badness in part of her too. I really like that she is such a strong woman, and Derek is really sweet. They also have such a powerful chemistry between them. This is a well written book that has love, romance, suspense, and danger all in one, and it is also a book that is so hard to put down, because you have to see what is going to happen next. I loved this book, and therefore, I highly recommend it.

Well written story with nice storyline and plot. Characters well described. Written in dual POV, which gives the reader a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the characters. Lots of chemistry and passion.
I am not into cheating (who is?), so that put me a bit of in the beginning of the story. Derek is what I would call a manwhore. But luckily he developed to become a better person.
The story is filled with action, emotions, twists and turns. It flows well of the pages and captivates the reader.

Romance 💛 with action
This is an amazing story about Derek and Evelyn who manage to survive a lot. I love these characters and and Ryder's nephew Jason Moretti had me hoping for a miracle to save him and get him back to the List breed motorcycle club. In chapter 29 I was in tears 😢 this story has gripped me so much and I hope the List breed motorcycle club eventually will get a happy ever after 😊 can't wait to read Caleb's story thanks again for writing some amazing stories Ali 💛 xx

The Lost Bree’s Series is exciting and amazing! Derek just adds to this crazy, suspenseful and heartbreaking drama! Derek and Evelyn are great additions to this series and I’m hoping we get to see Penny in the future mix too! This book seemed more like a bridge into the next character and storyline and it was written well! It is action packed, flowed quickly and did not have a dull moment!

This is a fantastic addition to the "The Lost Breed MC" series. The book focuses on Derek and Evelyn. These two were great together and had amazing chemistry. The story was intense, fast paced, had an intriguing storyline and strong characters. The book was well written with drama, suspense, danger, action and passion. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes MC Romance.

This is the fifth installment to the Lost Breed MC series. Derek is a member of the Lost Breed MC but looks out for people he cares for. Evelyn got kicked out of her parents house because she quit law school. She is sleeping on her friends couch and finally finds a job at The Stokes. This book has action, drama, hot chemistry and so much more. A fantastic series definitely worth reading. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Derek. What a ride. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I am a big fan of the Lost Breed! This book was engaging and suspenseful. I cried with them and cheered with their surprise happiness. Derek is a defender. He defended Evelyn with all he had. The Hand better watch out cause the Lost Breed is out for blood. This is a must read book! *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book.
