The first book had me hooked and the second just fed my addiction!
At one-third in, this was my reaction .. I'm loving it.. the emotions are portrayed effortlessly on the pages.. their tears are my tears
While I may have devoured each word, this book utterly consumed me. It was all that I expected and so much more!
I have to admit the implication and my imagination of what I thought this second book would contain had me intrigued yet hesitant as to how the dynamics would work yet Kate was able to address my lingering doubts and allowed me to be absorbed by all that the characters were experiencing and feeling. Like a moth to the flame, her words sucked me in deeper with every turn of the page!
The scene at the coffee house/bar with Ethan when he was shocked about the section of erotic books in the Calloway bookstore was so spot on. Who knew people in a small town could be in to such things (gasp) .. Sloane's response was priceless .. don't knock it til you try it!
Trust is key in any relationship bit notably so in a dom/sub relationship.
So throughout the interactions with Leo and Sloane, watching the trust be broken and observing them attempting to rebuild that trust was both heartbreaking and endearing and shows their level of commitment to making them work. Following their exploration of finding their perfect balance of control and submission was nothing short of beautiful!

Kate! You did it!! I’ve waited a long time for the ending of Sloane and Leo’s story and it was worth the wait. Kate pulled out all the stops and made Leather Bound everything it needed to be!
The chemistry that these two characters have despite their pasts and demons that haunt them is amazing. Their love story is unconventional yet utterly perfect for them!
The sex scenes are HOT (the one at the wedding 😍)!
The emotions that these characters have are real.
And let’s face it Leo is just super swoon worthy!
Warren got what he deserved and Leo and Sloane got their HEA!
Congrats Kate on the perfect ending for these two!!

I purchased this book.
I am such a fan of book 1 I had to do a reread of it before starting Book 2. Guess what? I was still utterly in love with Leo and Sloane as I was the first time around. Guess what? I totally devoured this book because I needed to know what was going to happen to them. Were the secrets going to be something they could work through or would more secrets and betrayals end my favorite hot mess couple??
Guys!! Leo…omg tall, dark and super mysterious and yet so broken as a man he can’t even function now that Sloane knows EVERYTHING! He needs his love/his submissive to be complete and yet he is completely powerless to fix it.
Sloane…..she is a hot mess of confusion. She has fallen for the wrong guy twice and been broken up over this. So now she questions if her submission is the issue. Maybe she should be a Domme?? Maybe if SHE was in control things would be better……???
The beginning of the book SEEING these characters so flipping lost and miserable made my heart ache for them. They are both a hot mess because relationships are not something the do or even do well when in them.
When Leo makes the ultimate move to help get his girl back….swoon…my heart. Seeing him be so vulnerable for Sloane was amazing. Seeing her struggle with what she wanted even though she KNOWS she wants submission……The scene was so amazing. Seeing the couple reconnect on a new level, an equal level, and level with total honestly was amazing.
Now folks, you know Kate isn’t gonna just let the Devil AKA Warren leave us alone right? ? Well that man comes back around and causes so much havoc and chaos for the family plus our couple, I seriously was cheering Leo on to punch him out!!
I loved the complexity of the relationship that Leo and Sloane have but I love the new levels of trust and honesty they develop in this book. The epilogue was like the best part of this story friends…OMG I was loving it and how she blended it so flawlessly and seamlessly into the story. I will so miss these characters but hey, if she decided to write a book about Ethan, I would be tots all about reading it! JUST SAYING!! HE was some kinda yummy. He wasn’t Mr. Right but he was MR. Right Now….LOL

This is Book #2 of The Bindings Duet and picks up right where Bindings left off and I just have to say that I am soooo glad I had book two ready go after finishing Bindings Book One! Not sure I could’ve waited to find out the conclusion to Sloane Montgomery and Leo Calloway’s story.
After the secret Leo had been keeping was set free….there was no taking it back. The trust that Leo and Sloane once had is shattered and their hearts broken. Sloane needs to take some time for her to discover who she really is and what she really wants. Leo knows that he hurt Sloane and needs/wants to gain her trust back, but he has no idea on how to even begin that process. All he can do is give her the time and space she needs, with a little Leo time mixed in.
I loved their story. The chemistry these two have is off the charts! They fought, struggled, loved, and compromised in order to make their relationship of dom/sub work. Once again I felt that their story wasn’t rushed and the story line flowed throughout. The sex scenes are HOT!! Loved that everyone got a HEA…except Warren…he doesn’t get one!
I think you should give this book a read…..As Sloane would say “don't knock it til you try it”!

Finally the long awaited conclusion to this duet! The way Bindings ended it left you wanting this story and it did not disappoint.
We saw changes in Sloane as she went about discovering who she was and what she wanted. I loved watching it play out. I felt bad for Leo he didn't mean to hurt her and longed to fix it. Oh but this was only happening on Sloane's terms!!!
I was rooting for them but every time they took one step forward something would knock them back two! They struggled to find their happy together but I have to say when they connected they were HOT! Making my Kindle smoke!!!! I absolutely loved the epilogue it was perfect!!!

This is the second book in a duet and picks up right where Bindings left off. Leo and Sloane have a non traditional relationship. Or, they are trying to have a normal relationship, but it didn’t start off that way which seems to complicate things for them.
I read this book in one sitting. This story offers so much and is really well written. If you want some steamy sex mixed with a romantic love story, this is it. It’s complicated, it has good supporting characters, and really just a good summer read.

This continuation was completely worth the wait! It was full of the expected and the unexpected. Per usual, Kate’s writing pulled me in to a depth that I stopped trying to anticipate and just devoured every chapter. I swore I would read this slower than Bindings, but I couldn’t put it down.
The depth explored and the resolutions offered were perfect.

Probably would have enjoyed this more if I read immediately after book 1. It's been a while so the story line is a little fuzzy. Overall a decent plot and a happy ending.
