Rumiko Takahashi is one of the wealthiest women in Japan. The manga she creates (and its anime adaptations) are very popular in the United States and Europe where they have been released as both manga and anime in English translation. Her works are relatively famous worldwide, and many of her series were some of the forerunners of early English language manga to be released in the nineties. Takahashi is also the best selling female comics artist in history; well over 100 million copies of her various works have been sold.
Though she was said to occasionally doodle in the margins of her papers while attending Niigata Chūō High School, Takahashi's interest in manga did not come until later. During her college years, she enrolled in Gekiga Sonjuku, a manga school founded by Kazuo Koike, mangaka of Crying Freeman and Lone Wolf and Cub. Under his guidance Rumiko Takahashi began to publish her first doujinshi creations in 1975, such as Bye-Bye Road and Star of Futile Dust. Kozue Koike often urged his students to create well-thought out, interesting characters, and this influence would greatly impact Rumiko Takahashi's works throughout her career.
Career and major works:
Takahashi's professional career began in 1978. Her first published story was Those Selfish Aliens, a comedic science fiction story. During the same year, she published Time Warp Trouble, Shake Your Buddha, and the Golden Gods of Poverty in Shōnen Sunday, which would remain the home to most of her major works for the next twenty years. Later that year, Rumiko attempted her first full-length series, Urusei Yatsura. Though it had a rocky start due to publishing difficulties, Urusei Yatsura would become one of the most beloved anime and manga comedies in Japan.
In 1980, Rumiko Takahashi found her niche and began to publish with regularity. At this time she started her second major series, Maison Ikkoku, in Big Comic Spirits. Written for an older audience, Maison Ikkoku is often considered to be one of the all-time best romance manga. Takahashi managed to work on Maison Ikkoku on and off simultaneously with Urusei Yatsura. She concluded both series in 1987, with Urusei Yatsura ending at 34 volumes, and Maison Ikkoku being 15.
During the 1980s, Takahashi became a prolific writer of short story manga, which is surprising considering the massive lengths of most of her works. Her stories The Laughing Target, Maris the Chojo, and Fire Tripper all were adapted into original video animations (OVAs). In 1984, after the end of Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku, Takahashi took a different approach to storytelling and began the dark, macabre Mermaid Saga. This series of short segments was published sporadically until 1994, with the final story being Mermaid's Mask. Many fans contend that this work remains unfinished by Takahashi, since the final story does not end on a conclusive note.
Another short work left untouched is One-Pound Gospel, which, like Mermaid Saga, was published erratically. The last story to be drawn was published in 2001, however just recently she wrote one final chapter concluding the series
Later in 1987, Takahashi began her third major series, Ranma ½. Following the late 80s and early 90s trend of shōnen martial arts manga, Ranma ½ features a gender-bending twist. The series continued for nearly a decade until 1996, when it ended at 38 volumes. Ranma ½ is one of Rumiko Takahashi's most popular series with the Western world.

SERIE INUYASHA WILD EDITION vol. 5

Bel volume. Ma per me sono tutti belli, forse non faccio testo. Però è innegabile come la trama sia davvero ben articolata. Ci sono momenti divertenti, altri romantici, altri tristi. E' un bel mix. Soprattutto poi mi piace come l'ingresso dei vari personaggi, porti sempre di più a galla tutto l'intrigo costruito 50 anni fa e che ancora persiste. Piano piano si hanno nuove informazioni. E piano piano i personaggi si evolvono e crescono. Mi piace anche come si crea quasi subito questo rapporto di amicizia e solidarietà.
In questo volume vediamo
Qui più di tutti si vede la differenza tra Kikyo e Kagome: Kikyo, il passato e la morte, e Kagome il futuro, la vita. E il povero Inuyasha è in mezzo XD
Negli ultimi capitoli arriva Sango. Io mi commuovo sempre per quello che le succede. E' più forte di me. Mi si spezza proprio il cuore.
Non vedo l'ora del prossimo!

Questo volume ha avuto quel qualcosa in più che mi ha fatto dare punteggio pieno.
Mi piace molto il modo in cui si sta sviluppando la trama e trovo Naraku un villain sempre più interessante, così come l'entrata in scena di Sango.
Kagome rimane sempre il mio personaggio preferito, la adoro troppo.

La escena que pone celosa a Kagome 😱 es genial todo lo que pasa en este tomo, tanto lo que se va despertando entre ellos dos como el desarrollo del conflicto.

El cuerpo de Kykyo sigue vagando por la tierra, robando las almas de mujeres jóvenes y hermosas para seguir existiendo pues su cuerpo no podrá encontrar el descanso eterno hasta que elimine a InuYasha.
Mientras tanto InuYasha y Kagome siguen la búsqueda de la Shikon no tama al lado de Shippo y el monje Mikoru. Su búsqueda los lleva por azar a una aldea donde dicen que un ser ha estado robando las almas del cuerpo de la princesa recién fallecida y sin saber que se trata de la misma Kikyo. Ahora InuYasha tendrá que hacerle ver a la sacerdotisa que Naruko les tendió una trampa para intentar que ella pueda descansar y Kagome tendrá que enfrentar sus sentimientos recién descubiertos por InuYasha ante el amor que él siente por Kikyo.
Yo pienso que la persona que obtiene poder mediante la shikon no tama… a cambio pierde su corazón.
Tengo que comenzar diciéndoles que este tomo me volvió completamente loca, pues al parecer no importa que ya conozca la historia, aun así me emocioné muchísimo al ver a InuYasha hacer frente a los viejos sentimientos que siente por Kikyo ante los nuevos sentimientos que tiene por Kagome. En este tomo en particular tenemos una treta que la sacerdotisa le prepara a Kagome para que la joven vea que siempre va a tener a InuYasha para ella y al principio funciona hasta que Kagome logra llegar a él y si, ya me pueden imaginar gritando y fangirleado como loca en esta escena.
Y es que desde el tomo pasado hemos visto que quizá pueda haber algo más entre Kagome e InuYasha pero ahora con la reaparición de Kikyo las cosas se complicaron y mucho.
Además de los sentimientos de InuYasha en este tomo comprendemos que aunque la mayor parte de su ser es Yokai, su corazón es totalmente humano. Esto es un punto muy importante para la historia pues aunque InuYasha afirma que solo busca la shikon no tama para convertirse en un demonio al completo, es más que obvia la pureza de su corazón. Por ejemplo, en este tomo hay un capitulo donde InuYasha tiene que pelear en su forma humana (gracias a la luna nueva) contra un monstruo quien come personas para tener la inmortalidad. Obviamente al ser humano InuYasha no puede luchar en las mismas condiciones que él, pero a pesar de eso no se rinde y le hace frente con tal de salvar a Kagome y cuando está al borde de la muerte un ser (bastante extraño, debo decir) le dice que puede tomar la medicina que el monstruo consume para la inmortalidad y eso lo ayudará a recuperar sus fuerzas, pero ya que InuYasha sabe que esa medicina está hecha de humanos decide seguir peleando tal cual esta.
Obviamente InuYasha niega cualquier rastro de humanidad en él pero es muy notable para todos que su parte humana es mayor.

Sempre coinvolgente al punto da far dimenticare di star leggendo ( a parte qualche punto che ho trovato un po' lento in questo volume), Inuyasha una garanzia. Edizione spettacolare.

Waah,Kirara muncul.Sango masih terpedaya oleh tipuan Naraku.Di tankoubon ini,Inuyasha dan Kagome mulai menunjukkan perasaan masing-masing jadi benci tapi cinta.

Bene, bene. Allora, il volume si apre con un bel momento di angst, visto che Kikyo torna a fare danni. Infatti, il suo risentimento si traduce in un desiderio costante di vendetta contro Inuyasha. E questo rischia dei creare dei problemi. Inuyasha è ancora sinceramente legato a Kikyo, vuole fare in modo che la sua anima trovi finalmente pace. Dall'altro lato, ci sono i sentimenti che prova per Kagome, una ragazza che, come noterà Kikyo stessa, sembra essere in grado di curare il cuore del mezzodemone, di renderlo più gentile. La grande differenza sta nel fatto che Inuyasha, cinquant'anni prima, non era riuscito a fidarsi completamente di Kikyo, cosa che invece non sembra destinata a ripetersi con Kagome. Certo è che, per la ragazza è un duro colpo vedere il bacio tra i due ex innamorati, o sentire Inuyasha che dice di non aver mai dimenticato Kikyo. Eppure, Kagome è importante per Inuyasha, gli regala serenità e la speranza di trovare pace. In soldoni: Kikyo (che ormai ha scoperto che Naraku è responsabile di tutto il casino avvenuto cinquant'anni prima) deve piantarla di rompere; Kagome e Inuyasha, beh, ci regalano qualche piccolo passo in avanti volume dopo volume. Sono certa che ci saranno altri momenti angst, e che Inuyasha, da bravo zuccone, ci metterà un sacco di tempo per mettete ordine nei suoi sentimenti, però Kagome è chiaramente quella giusta per lui. Chiaramente.
Nella parte finale del volume facciamo la conoscenza di un altro dei membri del nostro gruppetto di disperati, un'altra vittima dei magheggi di quell'infame: Sango, la sterminatrice di demoni - una ragazza nata nel villaggio in cui fu creata la sfera delle quattro anime, che ha perso il padre e il fratello minore Kohaku, e che si ritrova a farsi la guerra con Inuyasha per via delle macchinazioni di Naraku. So che mancano ancora molti volumi alla fine, ma vorrei davvero vedere i nostri gonfiate di botte quel fetente. Lo giuro. Vedremo come andrà lo scontro tra Inuyasha, il resto del gruppo e Naraku, con la povera Sango tirata nel mezzo di questa diatriba.

Aún no sé si ponerle 4.5 estrellas, pero bien merecidas .
La verdad, yo nunca he visto a Kikyo como un personaje malvado, simplemente es entender su perspectiva de la situación, cómo murió con un rencor muy fuerte hacia alguien que ella amaba y quiere venganza por ello, no es difícil de entender, aunque espero ver la misma evolución del personaje como en el anime.
Me encanta esa preferencia que Inuyasha tiene hacia Kagome y que en cada tomo va creciendo y también cómo el mismo Inuyasha va evolucionando poco a poco, abriendo sus sentimientos hacia Kagome y dejando que cada vez más personas entren a su vida y pueda confiar en ellas, la misma Kikyo ve ese cambio del Inuyasha que conocía al Inuyasha actual.

Quinto volume un volume veramente magnifico !
L’ho apprezzato molto perché il nostro piccolo inuyasha si apre ancora di più e dimostra i suoi veri sentimenti per kagome anche se sono ancora un po’ impacciati per me tra i due nascerà presto qualcosa
La ricerca della sfera prosegue e i demoni che incontriamo in questo volume sono molto più tosti e cattivi rispetto agli altri.
In più vediamo in particolare un demone che secondo me sarà il rivale principale per tutta la durata ma ancora non ne sono sicura al 100%
Fatto sta che questo volume secondo me merita molto , eh si bisogna andare avanti e non fermarsi !

Questo volume ha tutto quello che amo di Inuyasha! Rincontro con Kikyo, si sviluppa il rapporto tra Inuyasha e Kagome, Naraku e la trappola tesa a Sango e al suo villaggio, l'origine della Sfera delle quattro anime. Tutto mischiato in una narrazione incalzante che, senza accorgersene, ti fa arrivare alla fine del volume, volendone di più.

este tomó fue volver a mi infancia y volver a sentir como se me rompe el corazón con la escena inukyo TT TT pero las escenas que no estan en el anime fueron una curita al alma
