Boy have I been picking a bunch of lemons lately. I honestly gave this a shot but once I got to chapter 8 and read something Natalie said I felt like someone drove a rusty old railroad spike through what was left of my brain. Curious? This is what she said:

Thanks goodness for KU.

There's nothing here to convince the reader of any attraction between these two cookie cutter characters. The book says they're soulmates so that's what you should believe, I suppose. But there is no connection, no personality, and no believability.

Discovery

Imagine discovering your true self at a time when you felt you had it all figured out. Well one of our characters were right there in their life. Read about Christine and Natalie. How they found each other and fought to not lose it all. Cute and loving story. Sure to not disappoint.

Two opposites meet.

A police officer married to her job and a writer whose father kicked her out of the house. A whirlwind of self doubt and misjudgment befuddled these two and a small dog tries to intercede. Enjoy!

Fun read

This was a nice short story. Not everyone can get the resolution they need years after fighting with their family.
