A delightful, little book perfect for reading aloud to someone you love. You'll find yourself performing because of the charm, cadence, and alliteration, and of course, that's the best kind of storytelling.

Rima's paintings are enchanting and have her signature edge and eeriness. The pictures add depth and mindfulness to an otherwise swift tale. I look forward to their next collaboration.

Revisiting this wonderful story has made my day. We should never stop reading fairytales.

A terrific fairy tale. Loved it! Be warned, it is a little gruesome at the end as all old tales might have been to fill children's hearts with terror.
