This was interesting to say the least. I usually really like these types of books, but this one was pretty strange. It gave tips like writing a haiku and making exorbitantly large fake checks out to yourself, not to mention my personal favorite; photoshopping a picture of yourself and displaying it to bring joy- like, what the heck? A little too crazy hippie for me.
The quotes in between were cute, and the index was helpful, so that saved this from a one star rating.
Wonderful book with life lessons on each page - Easy read - However please OWN the book as I go back and re-read several lovely sections - A MUST READ!!!
Disebabkan penulisnya bukan orang Muslim, makanya banyak la cadangannya adalah meditasi, yoga + tips ala-ala kalau kita sertai MLM -vission boards, mantra saya akan berjaya, big why etc😂.
Ada juga yang ala-ala the power of prayer yant telah ditegur banyak kali oleh ustaz dan ulama' bertentangan dengan akidah Islam. Apa yang den boleh ambil adalah benda yang dah biasa pakar motivasi pesan: ✅Sentiasa bersyukur dan hargai apa yang kita ada. ✅Menolong orang lain. ✅Life is a journey not a destination. ✅Hidup akan ada pasang surut. ✅Buat gratitude journal. ✅Dont dwell on the past and worry much about the future. ✅Exercise 30 minit setiap hari. Macam-macam la pesanannya.
Interesting book with 1-2 page recommendations for creating or maintaining happiness. The nature of the short topics made me spread out the reading to a few ideas each day. Some suggestions are practical, many are things I’ve heard before.
Had a lot of good suggestions and quotes; a bit too many of what felt like borderline superstitious rituals and products to buy (scents, stones, etc.), but basically means well.
This is a quick read but worth it! It is a self help quotes book. It just has little messages of Self love, self care, and self awareness. I liked it a lot.
Great exercises to help foster a happier mindset. I read this daily due to going through a hard time right now. Things have gotten a little better since I've done a few of the mantras in the book.
