My Boyfriend's Dad

Rate this book
KYLIE

My boyfriend introduced us.

He was handsome, charming, and sweet. We were friends.

Now everything’s changed.

When I see him, my heart hurts knowing I can’t have him. When I don’t see him, it hurts even more.

My boyfriend is supposed to make me feel protected. Make my body ache for his touch.

But it’s not my boyfriend who makes me feel that way.

It’s his father.

RYAN

I gave her a job to be nice.

She was the perfect fit for my company. I had no idea she’d be the perfect fit for me.

Every day we spend together, it gets harder to say goodnight.

I can’t touch her. She’s twenty-four and I’m forty-nine. And she’s my son’s girlfriend.

But he’s not treating her right. And I know I would.

She just asked me what she should do about their relationship.

What am I going to tell her?

What the feathers?

The first half, and I do mean half, of the book is her relationship with the son including lots of loud sex. The son is an idiot, and if they aren't have sex they are arguing about moving in together after four years of dating. The second half is her with the dad (after breaking up with the son, nothing before). Again with lots of loud sex and some emotional drama from her. I was expecting maybe a chapter or two with the son, not half the frigging book.

Here’s the thing.
Part I is about the heroine’s relationship with the son. He’s not a bad guy, but you can see from the first chapter that he’s not the ONE for her. They love each other very much, but want different things in life. I kept wishing to finish it already, so i can get to the “good part”.
Part II is about the Dad. It’s nothing sleezy and he’s a real man. You’ll like him.

The 3⭐️ rating comes because of the dialogue between characters and the sex scenes, which would have been really hot if it wasn’t by the heroine’s rant before coming. 🤯
Also, because i wish i could have read more romance in the relationship with the Dad, especially since Part I was so sad.

I had high hopes for this story. I love the taboo idea of the whole falling for the boyfriend dad thing. I have read some really good books like this so I was excited to see Amy come out with one. But this one was just so dang slow and just too much back and forth that I lost interest by part two that I was over it.

I wanted to smack the crap out of Adam and beat the sh*t out of Kylie. She complains and complains to everyone but keeps taking Adam back. I mean she even complains to Ryan who is ADAMS FATHER!! So while Ryan knows everything that is going on with Kylie and his son he doesn't do anything (which is about the only thing good with this story) Ryan is trying to help keep the relationship between Adam and Kylie going. But he is also developing feelings for her. So by the time Kylie gets smart enough to dump Adam or Adam dumps her Ryan already has feelings for her.

When Adam finds out about Kylie and his dad Adam acts like the child he is and becomes an even bigger jerk than he already was.

Again this book is about two men fighting over one woman that complains a lot and sleeps with both men at different times. But almost seems to relish in the men fighting over her.

I do have to say I skipped most of part 2. I would not recommend this story.

I thought this was going to be a fun, light, sexy read. It’s not!

Omg... this book wasn’t what I was expecting! Right away I wasn’t feeling Adam. He was horrible!
Kaylie was irritating! She knew Adam was never going to give her what she wanted. But yet... she swept a lot of things under the rug when he threw her a bone here and there.
I was so tired of reading the horrible pattern they were falling in.

Fight... not speak.... then throw her a bone.... then make up sex.

They never resolved anything! By 29% I was just skimming through their sex parts. I hated their sex talk! Didn’t even interest me at all. And to be quite honest here. This book wasn’t painting a good picture to when Kylie and the dad would eventually be together. Because, Kylie is really in love with Adam. You can’t just stop after being together for 4 years! It would be different if they had just got together. But this seems like crossing the line.

I cringed at the timing of Kylie and Ryan coming together. I mean... she was clearly on the rebound! Her emotions were all over the place. I wish more time had past before something happened between them.

By the time I got to the 57% mark.... I was seriously bored. And Kylie is still all over the place! This book is moving a a snails pace. But what really bothered me was how every single time Ryan and Kylie were doing something or did something together. Adam was always popping up. Their first kiss... Adam caught them. Out for lunch... she bumps into Adam. The first time they sleep together.... Adam shows up at his dads place. It was annoying. And ruined any flow I was having in this book! (Which wasn’t a lot.)

As I read on... I still wasn’t feeling the whole situation with Ryan. She just broke up with Adam and here’s Ryan.... throwing ultimatum’s at her. I mean... she’s only been single for 3 weeks! How is she supposed to just jump right in.

By the time I got to the end of this book, I was so happy! Because between the internal dialogue and all the fights and her crying I was pretty much done. And I thought she should’ve waited a lot longer than she did to jump into another relationship.

Overall.... this book wasn’t for me.

Different but good

What I didn't like - The outside the relationship sex bothered me, just like it does in every romance book that contains it. Reading a main character having sex with someone else, even if before the main relationship has begun, is gross and does not belong in a romance. To be fair, it is different in this book because of the situation and the way the book is out together, but regardless, this does not belong in a romance. At the very least, there need to be warnings.

What I did like - I liked the book being in 1st person from Kylie, Ryan, and Adam. It gave a lot of depth and insight that 3rd person or being in just 1 or 2 of their perspectives would not provide. It was really really really great to read about non promiscuous characters. There was no bragging or giving details about past sexual encounters or partners. I really liked Ryan, and I liked the ending. I liked the story overall, though it does seem like a very messy situation.

Overall - Good and detailed and well put together very complicated love story that seems like it would never work in real life, but it's a book so it's cool.

I had some high hopes for this book but it turned out only 'ok' for me. The drama went on and on and on, it kind of became boring for me at some point. It was redundant.

Adam was a child. Kyle was actually good, independent and strong, chasing what she wants but yet annoying. Ryan was a man but I enjoyed how fun he was and how he really cared about her.

Wish there was more about Alyssa and Doug.

It was an interesting book, but I really hoped it was something better. It sure has the potential.

Playing🎰 The Ends Against The Middle💔

I tried to like this bad karma dramarama, but much of the over dramatization throughout the book was caused by the indecisiveness of Kylie💃💋.
The whole first part of the book involves Kylie💃💋 and her boyfriend of four years, Adam👹. He's a selfish, noncommittal, overbearing, and short tempered jerk, yet she stays with him four years. Bad on her!

After Kylie💃💋 graduates from college, She is offered a job in her field by Adam's father, Ryan🐺🍆🌋👋. He is near 50, but keeps himself up, and still looks great.

Of course, Adam👹 throws a fit, and accuses Kylie💃💋 of abandoning him. Their relationship quickly goes downhill from there. Adam👹 only sees Kylie💃💋 as his girlfriend, nothing more. He doesn't want to get married, even after four years! Man, Kylie💃💋💔 is stupid and lacking common sense for wasting four years with this self absorbed a$$!
Daddy, Ryan🐺🍆🌋👋, sees in Kylie💃💋💔, a beautiful and smart young woman, a great employee, and they have a flowering friendship. Ryan🐺🍆🌋👋 installs her in an office next to his, and decides pretty quickly, he is interested in her romantically💕. Being a businessman, he knows a good deal when we sees it!

Kylie💃💋 is still the bobo, still the indecisive young woman, who really has never lived on her own. She jerks both men back and forth with her fits of angst, indecision, and even some really bad, immature decisions on her part.

I got pretty tired of it about halfway through. I thought the author would NEVER get to the part where Dad, Ryan🐺🍆🌋👋, gets his big, hard body next to and on top of Kylie💃💋.
I thought the book📑 would be more fun, more sexy, more delicious. It wasn't. Don't worry, there are plenty of XXX scenes, but throughout, Kylie💃💋💔 never seemed very happy.

Daddy Ryan🐺🍆🌋👋 is a second degree Spankmeister👋👋, who knew?! That was the only fun part in the book!

Disappointed overall.

Kylie has been in a relationship with Adam for four years. She thought that they had the same goals. Moving in together, get married and have kids but none of this is happening. When Adam's dad Ryan, offers Kylie her dream job their relationship is getting worse. Ryan is there for her when she needs to talk and something is happening. Can she have a feature with Adam when they doesn't want the same things in life ? I loved this book. It was so exciting from the beginning till the end. It was very emotional and so well written.

I went into this book hoping for a good taboo romance and was disappointed in the characters. Adam was a big baby who wanted her but didn’t. Kylie complained and griped so much it was nerve wracking. I wanted to slap her and tell her to just dump him. I did like Ryan and he was such a sweetheart to her and she really needed that after dealing with Adam’s craziness.

Ryan Tucker was offering Kylie a job after graduation, but his son immediately and firmly claimed she was going to be working with him because he needed her at his start-up production company. Adam was her boyfriend and had been getting increasingly bossy and dominant over the past year, despite her talking to him about it. The job that Ryan offered would pay well; but Adam was taking out many loans for his company and could not offer her even enough to pay down her own student loans. Being a CPA was an important career for her. Being a CPA for free to her boyfriend was not the best way to start out! Adam was angry and left the restaurant.

Kylie started her first day at Tucker Computer Entertainment. Being a Fortune 1,000 company, having that on her resume would definitely enhance her career. But instead of going to her 5th floor office, she was given a note to see the boss! Because she would be his personal CPA and have many projects for him, he preferred that she be located on his floor. It would save her time from running back and forth from the 5th floor to the 21st. As they work together, Ryan begins to develop feelings for her.

Both Kylie and Adam seem to be immature. Adam didn’t speak to her for several months when she refused to work for free for him in his new business and had instead chosen a paid job to establish herself in her chosen profession. Yes, it was awkward that she went to work for Adam’s father, but regardless, Adam behaved like a child. (I note that she likewise did not call Adam, so both had lots of growing up to do.) Kylie complains about Adam constantly, eventually confiding in Ryan, which put him in an awkward position. But Ryan does try to help Kylie and Adam hold on to their relationship, despite his own attraction and admiration for Kylie. When Kylie ends her relationship with Adam, he acts in the childish manner we already expect from him. Will Kylie go back to him? Or will she instead choose Ryan?

The book was well-written. The story line was good and paced well. Enough information about the characters was provided to let the reader form opinions and preferences. I will say that Kylie and Adam were not overly impressive, and Ryan was probably my favorite for at least trying to help – even if it meant more sense to back off from the whole thing. But grab a copy and see what you think about it all, and try to guess if there will be a HEA when the dust settles.

So let me begin by saying I DNFed this book about 2/3rds of the way in. If u are wondering why I decided not to finish this read after investing so much time into the book already then stay tuned because I'mma about to explain...

Before I begin my tangent about what I didn't enjoy about this book let me say what I did enjoy;
1. It wasn't the same plot layout as all the other younger women wants the sexy older man reads I pick up (yes, I read ALOT of them. Don't judge me.)
2. The book was full of hot consensual sex even in the beginning and I'm about that life.
3. No cheating on the partner.
4. This book was big compared to normal romance/erotica novels and still managed not to bore me with the irrelevant descriptions of the work and world inside the novel.

Okay now on for the not so great parts but I got to warn yah.... spoilers.

First half of the book (not even joking it's half the book) is about the main character and her boyfriend. And they make me want to ripe my hair out. They were so plainly not meant to be together and I felt like I would have dumped him after the fifth chapter in. But no, I have to read half the book for them to FINALLY go; I can't stay with u anymore.

Next was whole "lack of forbidden romance" in a forbidden romance book. I mean the first half of the book which is (part 1) the main character and the dad who's name is Ryan barely even talk and when they do it's not like Sparks are flying there is no "oh gosh his daddy's gorgeous but I have to be a good girl and stay with my boyfriend" it's just oh Ryan's here and he's a nice dude who gives a shit. And then chapter one of Part 2 (second half of book) is when Ryan just ups and tells the main character "yo I tried not to but like I love u" and they just start sucking face as if that's even remotely normal or had any points leading up to his feels. And then as they r making out, BAM! ex bf walks in and sees and he's like "WTF!?" But everyone else is like "what?" Like no big deal son have a cookie and a glass of milk while I continue to defile ur ex right in front of ur face which neither of us seem to care about.

Honestly that's where I had to stop. Even after the ex and Dad have this big chat about the main girl and how daddy loves her and doesn't care what anyone thinks including his son, just blows my mind.

Yummy!

What can I say, I love an older man/younger woman storyline and this one did not disappoint. I couldn’t imagine how this one would come together, but Amy Brent is a a master weaver of tales. I loved the character of Kylie, a young woman who has recently graduated from college and is a CPA. She’s been in a 4 year relationship with Adam, who has formed his own production company. Adam is a self-centered jerk a great deal of the time who seems to be driven by the fact his mother used him for monetary reasons with his dad. He’s hell bent on getting to Kylie to work for him on the sets as she has become his muse. Adam’s been faithful but he’s hardly been truthful with Kylie when she’s talked about her dreams of finishing school, buy a home, marrying and having a family. He’s not shot down her dreams but has only prolonged being truthful with her because he has no plans to agreeing to any of those. After graduation, Adam and Kylie are entertained by his dad, Ryan, who they have had dinner with at least once a month for the last 4 years. Ryan is a hunky, older man with the patience of Job and the biggest heart. When Ryan hears of Kylie’s need for a job, he offers her one at his office, which she readily accepts, much to the ire of Adam. Adam and Kylie have enjoyed great sexual chemistry in the form of makeup sex after their constant bickering but as she learns, sometimes love is not enough. When the two have explosive arguments when Kylie sees the look in his Adam’s eyes when they visit the newborn daughter of friends and he begins to pull away. Kylie has several tearful breakdowns in front of Ryan and she experiences great comfort when he hugs her. One such argument has Adam yelling and cursing at Kylie and she realizes she’s not going to let him manipulate her into going to work for him at his production company. Ryan does his best to console Kylie but as she terminates her relationship with Adam things heat up between her and Adam’s dad. Heartbreaking decisions abound as Kylie realizes she cannot drive this father and son apart.

This book from the very beginning has you rooting for the dad at almost every moment because the boyfriend is such an ass. If you're a woman and you read this book and you haven't dated, this book basically gives you the list of what your boyfriend should NOT do. Adam is an ass that made me want to kill him at every turn.

It also makes you want to strive for something in your life when you don't really have a plan for life like Kylie did when she graduated from college and wanted to get to work. I also happened to like this book because it shows that loves when people work for it, holds no bounds. The age difference wasn't a problem for Kylie and Ryan.

Ryan was a like the ideal man that a girl could dream of; knowing what he wanted, being successful and he knows how to treat a woman right. He knew how one should be treated and gave them that respect despite have a horrible ex-wife. No matter what the situation, he gave them respect and it was a wonderful change from his son, Adam.

Adam was a piece of work that I would never date. It's one thing to not wanting to talk about something but he took it to a whole other level if he would physically show that it upset him. That's not just avoiding things; that's acting like a child. Like seriously, he was older than Kylie already and yet his behavior was that of a child and it made you want to root for Ryan even more.

Kylie, now she I felt bad for. Taking out the father-son dynamic from the story, it actually reflects a problem that could potentially occur in reality. Being stuck with a boyfriend that doesn't treat you right and a guy that wants you and will treat you right but can't have you. It happens. I love this book because while it also is enjoyable, it teaches you about having to deal with situations and the possible consequences that can occur from certain choices.

Overall, I happen to love this book for the story, the character development and the life lessons that it can teach. And let's not forget the hot sex scenes that come throughout the book as a whole. It was a great read that I would recommend to anyone looking for a bit of taboo love.

I ended up really hating Kylie. Like, really quite disliking her. Also the dialogue is terrible. There are multiple parts where we see a scene, and then we have to hear about everything that happened in that scene recounted. Like... why? We as readers already saw it?? Also - stop telling your boyfriend’s dad about your relationship problems moment for moment, it did not feel natural. Also the first half is about a totally different guy (Adam) and everyone keeps saying how terrible he is, and like, he’s not great, but he’s not completely at fault. She’s like 22 or something and keeps going on about how selfish it is that he’s not giving her what she wants and is therefore wasting her time. Like dude. That is just generally how relationships end when you’re that age. You just want different things, you’re both terrible at communicating, but he gets all the blame. There’s some weird stuff about Adam being slightly violent? And that’s not good. But it basically seems to mostly be that he punches his dad after she tells him that they’re never, ever getting back together, like ever, and then in front of him immediately tells his dad (Ryan) that she’s in love with him. Then everyone gets annoyed at Adam? I don’t know... why was this book so long? And why was the first part all crazy sex scenes with a different character. It was more of a drama than a kinky romance. And because the writing was bad (especially the dialogue) it just did not work. I was not a a fan. Screw all of the characters. They all sucked.

Oh, I was also waiting for Alyssa and Doug to get together and this never happened. Why? Is this another book? I was hoping to see more of them being silly together because of being sick of everyone else.

Kylie has been dating Adam for the past 4 years but something is different now, they dont have the same path as far as where they want life to go in the future, while Kylie knows exactly what she wants. A husband a house and children Adam does not and he has been treating Kylie with disrespect in Adams fathers eyes. Ryan is Adam's father and has a thing for Kylie but he knows the fine line of it all with her dating his Son but knows she deserves better then his own Son, he knows he could treat her so much better.

What I enjoyed most about My Boyfriends Dad was watching how Ryan was always willing to be there for Kylie and be an listening ear, how he gave her a job that she loves and works with what she knows, numbers. Watching Kylie try to work it out with Adam at every turn but then realizing she needs to do what is best for her and what she wants and she knows she is not willing to give up her wants for a husband and family. Watching Ryan and Kylie getting closer and watching how they blend so well in what they want.

This book was a fantastic read. This book has Kylie a young 24 year old woman who has been dating the same guy Adam for the past 4 years, Adam a man who wants to get his production business going and loves his girlfriend but not willing to move the relationship forward even after 4 years but he doesnt want to loose her, Ryan a rich businessman who has been single for so many years but becomes very attracted to Kylie and after they start spending more time together things start to change, a love story. If you like stories like this, then My Boyfriends Dad is a must!

What happens when you fall in love and the person you have pledged to wont commit to you like you thought? What happens when you want a HEA but the person who is supposed to love you changes the goal posts that leaves you confused and whether your relationship is the one you want? What happens when your love is turned around and the person feels the same and wants to give you everything you deserve but people thinks it’s a taboo?
These are the questions Kylie had when her boyfriend, Adam, wont commit like she thought he would. She must revaluate their relationship, but he won’t let her go. He leads her on with his selfishness just to keep her by his side. She feels he doesn’t want the same things as she wants anymore and is pulling away day by day. I felt that although it may have been a great relationship in the beginning they just aren’t suited anymore for each other and it can be physically and emotionally draining.
It was sad to see the decline of their relationship but then Ryan came in light a knight in shining armour, ready to sweep her off her feet and giver her everything she needs. AS is always it books it’s the romance of the story, the characters and the outcome that has the awwwww affect that’s so much better than the real-life version sometimes. Amy has done well with this book to catch the emotion of all the characters and the result from Ryan and Kylie being together with Adam, Ryan’s son being the ex.

Wow!! Amy brent just gets better with each book she writes.
I was a bit sceptical about reading this book at first thinking that its going to be one of those stories were the father would make a move on his son's girlfriend judging by the title of the book.
Kylie and Adam have been together for 4 years and are very much inlove but once Kylie accepts a position working for Adams father things start unraveling.
Kylie wants a good career, a home and children but Adam wants for things to stay as they are. Ryan, Adam's father is there to for her as a friend, a shoulder to cry on and offering advice.
Kylie realises that the best would be for her and Adam to go their separate ways.
Ryan has liked his sons girlfriend from the moment he met her and wanted the best for her and his son but since she accepted his job offer he noticed that his son is not the man that he has raised.
When things dont work out for his son and Kylie, he ends up spending more time with her and realises that he has feelings for her. Kylie realises that Ryan is what she wants in a man. Ryan has fallen for the younger woman amd now that Adam and kylie aren't together he decides that he is going to claim her for himself and give her the life, love and respect that she deserves.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

I read this book knowing that other books I've read by this author so I wanted to over look the ewww factor of the taboo boyfriends dad factor. Much to my delight the story was not what I was imagining and more to my liking.

To be honest Kylie was a bit annoying at times. She may have been more adult like in her liking of Ryan but her inability to face her problems with Adam and admit what was happening had me gritting my teeth at times.
To be fair Adam knew what Kylie wanted from their relationship and his selfishness far exceeded her not facing the facts. The relationship with Adam and his dad was also one of his own making.

Positive notes: Kylie stood her ground when it came to her career and in the long run was true to herself and what she wanted for her future. The relationship between Kylie and Ryan was one that grew from respect and friendship along with a friendly ear. There was no ewww factor. Ryan was caring, understanding and obviously mature. Mistakes were made, yes but handled in a adult manner. When all is said and done, the story and all that it entailed between these three characters was something I can understand.
So, once again, I was pleasantly surprised with how much the author drew me into to her book and how much I really liked the way everything turned out in the end.

This book has three narrators; Kylie, Adam and Ryan, with the male lead switching half way through the story. Adam is a complicated, confused individual who obviously has some growing up to do, while Ryan is stable and secure in who he is and what he wants. Age or generational gap is probably the main reason for the differences, but then that’s probably the appeal of dating an older man and it’s certainly what Kylie seems to need.

I’m in two minds about this book. While I enjoyed reading it, it was odd how for half the book she’s with the son and for the other half she’s with the father. It’s pretty much an exact fifty/fifty split. This threw me, because usually one relationship would end in the first few chapters and you’d then get more of the main couple. While Ryan is still a big part of the first part of the novel, it just left me frustrated. I’m sure what frustrated me however, will thrill others. I should point out that while there is a love triangle, or two, there is no actual cheating in this book. It’s a rather sweet story and certainly more believable than ‘My Best Friend's Boyfriend’, but there was some overlap in the main character’s kinks which strikes me as the author being a little lazy. There are also similarities in character backgrounds from book to book, which leaves it feeling a little formulaic for me. That said, it’s a nice easy read. Enjoy.

Started off different than expected

So I went in reading this book thinking that within the first couple of Chapters Kylie’s boyfriend Adam was going to mess up and then they would break up and his dad Ryan would be there to pick up the pieces. WRONG.

W e actually got watch the relationship fall a part. See the closeness actually develop between Kylie and Ryan but not ever do anything about it. And Adam wasn’t mistreating her in the sense that I thought. He was using her to keep around but not being honest about what he actually wanted for his future.

They were going down different paths and Adam didn’t want to let Kylie go so he kind of strung her along.

Ryan came in after knowing Kylie the entire Kylie and Adam dated to be a shoulder for her to cry on. And they worked. The thing I was curious about by the end, because most of the issues that would arise in the situation were resolved, how would Adam feel once Kylie got pregnant. Because she wanted kids and her kids would be Adam’s siblings and she would be Adams ex having his fathers kids. That I wanted to see play out.

All in all good stuff and I loved getting the relationship between Kylie and Adam before getting Kylie and Ryan.

Kylie loved her boyfriend Adam they had been dating for four years. Just as they finish college and are thinking about plans for the future Kylie finds out he plans for her to join him in his dream job and be a free accountant for him. At a dinner with his father he gets angry when she accepts a job offer with him instead. Things had been subtly getting different between them as it got closer to them joining the workforce. Ryan knew his son's girlfriend would be a good fit for his company but he hadn't counted on it being an issue with his son. When things start going bad for them Ryan stepped in for Kylie to be a sounding board and then he would encourage he son to decide if he saw a permanent future with Kylie. However he never expected to have feelings for her himself. Will Adam and Kylie work things out? Or will his dad step in and claim Kylie for his own?

This is a great story once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Ryan and Kylie is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Takes awhile to get you where you want to go...

This is a typical romance with you knowing right up front pretty much which way the story is going to unfold. Kylie is a Beautiful, independent, smart College graduate. Adam is her handsome college boyfriend of four years who is really lost in where he see’s his future going. While Kylie has her life all planned out Adam is more just wanting to run by the seat of his pants. His lack of communication and mixed messages makes for a lot of discord once they set out on the their career and future paths. Ryan is Adams very sexy yet always supportive father. He has always been there for both of them during their relationship only now that it’s rocky he’s bonding with Kylie. This process takes awhile to get you where you want to go but the once I got there, I was a very happy reader. The sex was hot, and plenty of it in this book, no skimping there. I really liked all the visuals Amy has in writing, from the descriptions of the people, the steamy love scenes right down to the food they ate at dinner. It was so easy to lose yourself in this book.

Amazing read. Well written and have a great storyline and plot. The characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story. Their chemistry is over the top.
Her boyfriend does not treat her well and he hurts her. He does not want to commit to their relationship the same way she does. She gets employed by her boyfriends father but she has an instant attraction to him that she has never felt before.
A story that is heartwarm, emotional, passionate, has a great chemistry, twists that is unexpected, You are pulled into the story and just have to read on. It is very captivating because of the use of worth and writing style. The author has given her best in this story.
It is written in multiple POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes it better of than without it.
There are passion, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. A true and complete HEA.

Oh wow!!!

Okay so I love this book but this book was mad triggering. Long story short Kylie was with a guy who she met in college but didn't want to move forward in their relationship like move in together get married have children Etc. Which I've been through I had a boyfriend we're together for 4 years and he didn't want to move on and become a grown up either so for me this was so dead on. And pretty triggering and I just wanted to myself was I this stupid to. Anyway so she falls for the boyfriend's dad who is everything that she's looking for in a mate unlike the boyfriend. Too bad my ex's dad look like Franklin the Turtle. All in all it was a great book I was addicted to this book and I loved it. The writing is top-notch, the sex is super hot. And it has a little bit of everything for everybody and there also was a happy ending which is also awesome. New author that I must read other stuff from because this was great.
