Rate this book
The Leader Who Had No Title is a motivational novel written by one of the world's most highly respected leadership experts Robin Sharma. Talking about all those leaders who were not honored in their conventional domain, but their ideologies certainly proved them otherwise is the subject around which the book has been written. Pointing out that anyone can be a leader, this book is written in a business fable style, which makes it all the more interesting and engaging. Centered on Blake and his conversation with four unorthodox leaders, each conversation picks out some important and essential principles that will help ordinary people in becoming a true leader and attaining a position in their organizations. The book is targeted at product managers and sfor omeone who wants to improve his leadership skills, it gives a brief insight on the styles of leadership and also increases your ability to understand the difference between where as a leader do you stand. Mechanical with usual "self-help" tone, I clearly grown up out of this 'wisdom". For example, I hear the same nonsense that people will give everything for one day of good health. Not necessarily, not me, because realists understand that death is a part of life any "trades" with "fate" (i.e. reality) are useless, better go learn and print 3D heart or something (real).

I'm amazed I did finish this book, maybe was too busy, but once again - pump ups (i.e., "motivation") doesn't work, better give information, information will set anyone free.

Robin Sharma has become an inspiring author ever since I read his 'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari'. Leader Who had no Title is another book which attracted me because of one simple reason. While all other leadership coaching implies a competitive agenda to reach the top, this book prescribes a self-development agenda to shine as-is-where-is. We do not have many slots at the top, but we have plenty of them at the bottom. So, it is a very pragmatic approach.

Robin Sharma at his best...

Honestly, I was not in favour of reading this book because I thought it would be the same as in many leadership related books. But it is so different in so many ways.

First... it is a narrative. Helps you remember each principle. Also the style of the book is simple yet elegant.

This book tells that each one of us has a potential to be the best in everything we do without really thinking much about the title. Give your all to what you have and start wherever you are. Your process will improve as go.

This book has a lot in store and I am sure you will enjoy it but with that you also need to have a little love for fiction mixed with leadership principles. Try to stick to the main points if you don’t really care about the fiction, but I strongly recommend the book...

Happy reading..

I always liked Robin's way of creating a stage where the characters and situations are so synced that you feel like you are there.

A great book with all the ingredients to awaken the leader within. Yes, we all are born awesome.

My eyes welled up as I came to the closing chapter of the book I just finished reading: 'The Leader Who Had No Title' by Robin Sharma.

Regardless of what you do within your organization and the current circumstances of your life, the single most important fact is that you have the power to show leadership. This book shows you how to claim that staggering power, as well transform your life - and the world around you - in the process.

A "must read" for everyone. Kudos Robin for having written this life changing book on Leadership.
