Smooth dark-mocha skin. Enticing hazel eyes. Sultry delicious curves … She hadn’t changed one bit.

I couldn’t believe my luck.
There she was.
In the middle of a crowded room.
After all these years…

My sweet Viv.

My cock swelled to the remembrance of our summer together.
Three months spent tangled in bedsheets.
Diving off cliffs.

I claimed her; body and soul.

Then, I abandoned her.
My royal duties calling me back home.

Now, ten years later, this is my chance at redemption.
Only, now Viv is the one carrying a burning secret.
A nine-year-old daughter.

My daughter.

I know what I am.
Who I am.
The new King of Spain.
But I won’t walk away again.

Viv must come around.
She must agree to be my queen.

I won’t take no for an answer...

Trying to give this independent author a chance, what horrible writing, plot, and title. It was so bad I couldn’t stop laughing.

There were aspects of this book that I really enjoyed, the chemistry between the characters, the hero was Spanish, and it was written well. The two things I didn’t like was the editing mistakes for example things would change from two weeks to one week. Last for the book to be so medium in length it focused on a lot of non important factors and then glazed over the big stuff. I think I will read another book from these authors.

Very nice story!!

I am always a sucker for a "second chance love stor"... And with kids involved, it's always make my day as long as the storyteller knows how to narrate it beautifully and miss Ciara Cole sure did!.
I love Matias and his beautiful girls!!
Great characters and storyline!!

When I saw this book I was really interested to know how this was going to play out. Was it going to be something where the king was hiding away his daughter because he was ashamed of her. Or was this a story where the female doesn’t know that he’s a king and he tricks her, and they end up finding out she pregnant and he like oh we can’t be together.

But to my surprise it’s nothing like that but something entirely better.

Viv meets her prince charming while jumping off a popular cliff where people usually go to enjoy jumping in the water. This is her first of many doing things that she wanted. When she first meet him she is 19 years old and just left home to go and enjoy herself and trip by herself.

She was quite the adventure, but Matias is also an adventure, he had just finish jumping that cliff when she jump in behind him. None of them know that this was a start to a wonderful relationship…. Well for now.

They instantly are attractive to one another, and just like any young couple they gotten to know one another and enjoy one another company. They become closer to one another, and saw a possible future with each other. Viv wanting to be with him, and letting him know about herself, and Matias being honest with her, other than the fact that he didn’t tell her that he is a prince, and his last time. But enjoying the fact that she was being real, and wasn’t around him for the fact that he was next in line to become king.

But things hit the fan which they are pulled apart, then months later Viv finds out that she is pregnant with his child. Now years later and Matias shows up again, only to be surprise that Viv has so much dislike for him. Esp. considering that the way things ended up between them was because she left. But Viv claims it was him that left her, and then he lied about who he really was.

More then a little confuse, Matias is determine that he wants to be in her life, and discover the truth of what really happen that day. Then much to his surprise he finds out that he has a child. But Matias is a strong dominate male that is going to make sure he get his girl and his child. And nothing will stand in his way, he will go over and beyond for them.

I like the story plot, but I really wish there was a lot more dominance in the book. I love the fact that you find out so many juicy secrets in the book, but I kind of wish Matias was a little more strong character. I love the fact that they met when they were kids, and I love the fact that you get more detail about her Viv and her mother relationship. I feel that, that little information about the two was enough that you get the feeling and more understanding of why she took off on the adventure to begin with.

I do love Viv and Matias daughter, she is too cute and adorable, and very much like her father. I love how welcome she is with her father, that is such a beautiful scene. I also enjoy the shock that I get when Matias do finally figure out what happen that day. Its one that I never expected.

Over all this was a good book to read, if any a real good quick read. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a quick romance book to read.

Wow

This book had a twist on poor girl meets rich guy. His mother's interference was on a scale all its own. Im glad her mom and best friend finally talked some sense into her because no matter if she turned it down or not her daughter is still a princess and the paparazzi would be hounding her for the rest of her life. HEA all the way. I also loved that Ciara showed not only what was currently going on but had flashbacks that enhanced the story as well. Cant wait to read some more of your work.

3.5 stars. It wasn't that over the top for me to say that given the chance I'll read it again or so because i usually do that with books I really like. Can't say what really made me read this book since u usually avoid books with blunt names like this because to me they are usually corny. Don't get me wrong I've read a few that did turn out to be good but this book did not do much for me

There is so much I like about this authors writing

I enjoyed this book. I liked her first one better. What I love about her writing is how she betrays a strong independent woman without taking away her femininity. I love that her heroine realizes her self worth and in so doing received respect from others. I love the intensity the hero displays his love for her.

I really tried to get into to this book but I just couldn't. This is my first time reading this author and I wanted to give her a chance due to not being familiar with her works or writing style. The plot was good. I even liked the characters. It was a quick read but almost too quick due to missing information. I found myself having to re-read certain lines and paragraphs to understand what was going on. I feel as though there is so much more that could've been done with this story. This book didn't was it for me, however I still plan on exploring more of this author's work. Maybe I'll find one that I like.

Could have been excellent

This premise is an interesting one, unfortunately the execution didn't hit the mark for me. The good; plot, writing from a structural perspective, punctuation, conjunctions etc . The bad, in two words, the story. The author didn't present a cohesive story, it felt like the first draft of a good idea that lacked the finesse to tie it together. I think experience, an editor or a good team to beta read might help her to craft an amazing story, but sadly this is not one.

Too Typical

Spoiler*** this is the first book by this author for me - question to author == why was the female lead lacking in confidence, not sure why the women in these books have to be weak. It's a contradiction, why would a King want a women who isn't strong. We need stronger women!!!

Good story but....

....I was a little miffed that he took it so well. I wanted more of a come-to-Jesus moment when he realized he had a nine-year-old child with a holiday fling. I wanted more conflict. Don't get me wrong - I like the story. It's just unusual for someone in his position to not be pushy and demanding. The editing could have been better as well.

A cute read. I like that the hero actually interacted with the child on his own. That doesn’t happen in books, even though I think it should happen more often.

Just to be a bit nit picky I kept forgetting the story took place in America because of some of the word choice. The use of “holiday” and “bin” and a few other words are commonly used in America, it’s more of an English thing.

A few bumps

Viva held all the cards in the relationship. Although he was alpha in the bedroom, every decision regarding their lives together was hers. It's never good to keep the secret of a child. The man was a King of a well-known country.

Lasting love

A quick read, our leads met a long time ago when responsibilities were non existent and life was simple. Fast forward ten years and their paths cross quite expectedly, secrets and identities revealed and hurts overcome. Beautiful story, enjoyed very much

This was okay...

This was the typical boy meets girl. Boy leaves pregnant girl and then they live happily ever after. I’d have likes a little more than the usual fluff. This was an okay quick read.

Two for effort....

I found this tale a lil stilted and boring. The sex was over the top...raunchy with silly unrealistic dialogue. There are too many typos and the story doesn't flow well throughout.

Meh

Every trope except the "angry billionaire swears revenge" one. And the sex scenes didn't entice. But the editing was good!
