I totally went outside of my comfort zone on this one, completely outside of it, and yet I’m not even sorry. I pushed so many of my thresholds, I shook my head a lot, but I did not skim a word of this book. Why? Because although I don’t agree with some of these taboo stories, this book is loaded with taboo, but it’s all about life and your individual likes. I don’t have to agree or like it but holy shit was this story fricken hot, sexy hot......

Aiden was labeled the glue. He is everything in this story yet my heart hurt for Vaughn. The romance lover in me loved him and hurt that he carried so much blame on his shoulders. But his strength, it was magical. To me Vaughn kept this trio together, he may have very well have been the glue ♥️

If you can handle crossing lines and need some steam, pick this one up!!! Its loaded with both😋

I have been looking forward to reading Aiden' story since I read the Lawn Boys

It was obvious that oversensitive, compassionate and confused about his sexual orientation Aiden would end up with two people from different genders. So far, his relationships have left him unsatisfied and more confused and unbalanced.

Am I always destined to be a third wheel? Always caught somewhere between this and that? Never deciding between being with a man or a woman? I can’t figure out my life or make sense out of it.

Aiden needs a man or/and a woman that can make him feel cherished, beloved and belonged.

His professor, Vaughn and his boss, Vale definitely want him. Their marriage is not working. Serious problems that cannot be resolved easily have make them sleeping separately and thinking of divorce.

"We're not broken. We're just cracked. All we need is a little glue. We'll be good as new."

Aiden will be the one who may save their already destroyed marriage and make find their passion again.

“We want you to be the glue.”

But what about him? Is he going to be tossed away, as soon as Vaughn and Vale save their marriage?

I absolutely loved the book and all three characters the same.
Aiden is very confident and absolutely sure about what he wants from the beginning.
Vaughn is so believable as a man who loves his wife, he does not want to cheat, he wants to save his marriage, he does not hesitate to compromise and he will be strong enough to embrace what he really needs.
Vale is the sweetest woman who faces the biggest challenge when she feels that her marriage and her happiness are not complete. Her pain was palpable through the pages of the book.

The book has some of the hottest MMF scenes that I have ever read. And there are plenty of them.
The ending is satisfactory, although a bit over the top deliriously happy and sweet. But who cares?

"It appears I’ve been crushing on a fucking married couple."

At 18, Aiden is a college student still sorting through his sexuality. Attracted to both men and women, his life is about to get a whole lot more complicated when he realises that the objects of his lust are married...to each other. And bless him, he attempts to do the right thing, but somehow wrong is right in this instance.

"We’re not broken," he assures me despite the way his voice trembles. "We’re just cracked. All we need is a little glue. We’ll be good as new."

Vaughn and Vale were happily married once. Now disillusionment and disappointment has marred what they once had. What they never expected was a young man who they both desire to help fix what is broken.

Do not ask me how K. Webster managed to turn this naughty taboo story into an emotional journey, because she did. If you are expecting a smutty OTT read, you are going to be pleasantly surprised. Apart from the fact that this menage was smoking, it was poignant. As a married couple with serious issues, they managed to invite Aiden into their lives without intentionally hurting one another and causing further damage.

Honestly if you enjoy unorthodox romances with plenty of steam, you want this one 🖤

"Our eyes meet and fire burns inside me.

I’m going to fuck this man.

Or, he’s going to fuck me.

Someone is getting fucked."

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person – Multiple
Rating:

Aiden Blakely was in dilemma. Being bisexual, he enjoyed the company of both sides but he could never decide on one. This made his life difficult especially around people who didn’t understand his needs. That was until he happened to be attracted to Vaughn and Vale Young, a couple who wanted him as much. However, they wanted him to save their marriage, when he wanted them for so much more.

I expected this book to be dirty and I definitely got that. But the story also offered something more - emotions and real life struggles - which made this book more than just sex.

Am I always destined to be a third wheel? Always caught somewhere between this and that? Never deciding between being with a man or a woman?

I loved Aiden. He was young and had a fun side but also wise beyond his years. And he had vulnerabilities that made him so lovable.

“I have no fucking clue what we’re about to do, but I want to try. I’ll do anything to save us, Vale. I don’t want to give up yet. There’s still fight in us.”

I felt for Vaughn and Vale with their struggle, especially with him and his guilt. He tried hard to make their marriage work and was walking on egg shells around her.

I really liked the story, with how they handled the situation and how they handled other people’s perception on their unconventional relationship. As mentioned, the sex was hot and dirty. It didn’t matter solo, duo or trio scenes, they were all equally orgasmic lol! One thing that I felt undermined the book overall was the ending. It was a little too much and felt off compared to the tone of the rest of the book.

With Vale and Vaughn, I put every ounce of me into this thing we’re doing. But what happens at the end? When the fucking credits are rolling?

The Glue is a story of mending relationship in an atypical way. It is a standalone story in the author’s of naughty Taboo World collection.

Aidan is the one with a heart on his hands.

With an HEA and a lot of characters from the other books.
K. Webster it's amazing how she connects the characters and make a short story with the essential, without the feeling that missed something or with rush endings.

But what if everybody’s wrong and you’re exactly what they need? Sometimes certain things are only taboo because they’re unfamiliar. What was once scandalous is now a common trait. Things such as ...

1. Visible bra straps
2. Ladies making the first move
3. Keeping your maiden name
4. Phone calls after 9pm
5. Women wearing pants
6. Tattoos
7. Anything LGBTQ related

Let’s go back even further ...

1. Reading in bed
2. Using an umbrella
3. Sending kids to school
4. Tomatoes (yes tomatoes)
5. The color purple (not just an amazing story)
6. Daily showers
7. Coffee
8. Bicycles

Really the list goes on and on.

Now let’s get back to our story. One where we have a couple on the verge of divorce who both separately fall for the same guy. Yeah he could drive a wedge between them but what if he’s the glue?

Aiden reminds me so much of Peter from the House of Pleasure series. Peter kept getting caught in the middle always the third wheel. Fortunately Peter got the girl but I think Aiden will be more fortunate.

They’re just so fucking adorable! I loved when Aiden became unsure they littered him with PDA. When one of them break down, the other two close ranks and engulf them with love.

As the saying goes, whether it be good or bad; when it rains, it pours. And that epilogue left me choked up.

One of the best MMF/poly books I have ever read
Descriptive intimacies MM, MF, MMF 🔥🔥🔥
Three distinctive POV’s
Age gap 18/36/48?
This was taboo done right

“What do you want to do?” I ask.

“I want to fuck her,” he says without hesitation. Then his eyes burn into me. “While you fuck me.”

Disappointments:
Going to put this in spoilers so I can be completely honest.

Overall: Smoking hot taboo romance, missing communication.

Story narrated very well by Robyn Verne, and Noah Michael Levine.

MY THOUGHTS:

Being my first MMF Romance book I had to go into this with an open mind and be prepared to step outside my comfort zone. I guess that is one of the things that attracts me to K. Webster’s books, particularly the taboo genre as she always finds a way to challenge a reader. whether experienced in her chosen taboo subject or a novice, there is always something you can take from her stories.

This story gives an insight into a polyamorous relationship and gives us a personal point of view from each characters perspective. To be completely honest I did not think I would enjoy it, and although I struggled with the idea of it, Webster’s writing talents made the story entertaining, enjoyable, enlightening and off the charts hot and heavy.

I have to applaud Kristi, she certainly knows how to push people outside their boundaries and show us how naive or simply unawares we can be. Her well written and unabashed taboo stories maybe on the naughty side and ethically questionable at times but they are so damn addictive! I think there is something about the forbidden and taboo that spikes a curiosity and interest in us all whether we'd pursue that interest is a different story but its enjoyable to read nonetheless.

The characters in The Glue are really lovable along with their issues being so relevant in today’s society, a taboo subject that is not often discussed is put in the spotlight. There are some secondary characters throughout the story that are from other taboo treat stories by K Webster and it is very clever how she merges them in.

The HEA is a bit corny but hey we all love a happy ever after regardless, and this one was fitting to the characters rather than it be a cliché.

DO I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK?
If you are a fan of K Webster and her taboo treats than absolutely this is one you will not want to miss!

WARNING: This is a Male- Male Female relationship story. The relationship is to do with a married couple and another man. If you are sensitive to this issue or feel strongly against it I suggest you give this a miss. However, if you have an open mind and up for a challenge then give it a go you might be surprised.

“I want more than sex, I want a real relationship with both of you .”

MY RATINGS: (All ratings are out of 5)
CHARACTER RATING: 5
TABOO/DARKNESS RATING: 5
BLUSH RATING: 4
ROMANCE RATING: 4
PLOT RATING: 4
OVERALL: 4 Blushing Stars.

Vaughn and Vale Young have been married for eight years but have drifted apart due to a difficult circumstance. A Professor of economics, Vaughn is composed and very sexy. Vale recently opened a new business that keeps her distracted from her troubles. Though they love each other, both feel like their marriage is broken beyond repair.

“We’re not broken,” he assures me despite the way his voice trembles. “We’re just cracked. All we need it a little glue.”

Aiden Blakely is a college freshman trying to do his best balancing work and school, but being in Professor Young’s Econ class isn’t helping his GPA. Always one to feel the spectrum of emotions, Aiden is instantly attracted to the two people he should avoid but he can’t help himself.

“I’m going to fuck this man. Or, he’s going to fuck me. Someone is getting fucked.”

Told in multiple POV, these characters are ruled by their range of emotions and their circumstances. Fueling the intensity is a deep sexual attraction that is immediately palpable. Knowing he shouldn’t act on his urges, Aiden doesn’t restrain himself with Vaughn or Vale and it leads to incredibly hot times. As their arrangement progresses, it becomes clear that it’s more than fleeting kinky encounter and these three sizzle together.

“What do you want to do?” I ask. “I want to fuck her,” he says without hesitation. Then his eyes burn into me. “While you fuck me.”

From the beginning, Vaughn establishes himself as the voice of reason but he also has the broody sexy professor vibe in spades. His dedication to his marriage is heartwarming and the way he treats Aiden is hot and endearing. Vale proved to be an effervescent personality once she was able to move forward from the past. And Aiden is an absolute gem of a character with his charm, lust, and big heart.

Being that this book is set in a taboo world, there aren’t any limits and I liked how these characters decided what is right for them despite what others many think. The chemistry between Vaughn and Aiden is off the charts and when Vale was added to the mix, there weren’t feelings of jealousy but rather completeness. I really enjoyed how they all transitioned from a place of loneliness to being utterly sated.

As always, K Webster’s narrative is written in such a way that creates an immediacy between the reader and character. With this story being grounded in erotica, it also has tremendous compassion and character dimension.

The Glue would appeal to those who crave unconventional character dynamics and like their taboo good and dirty but with some heart!

We were so close to losing it all. All we needed was a fix. A little glue. Good as new.

I didn’t realize that a taboo treat could make me so emotional. This MMF read is hot and smutty, but it’s also sweet and emotional too. I really loved Aiden when I read about him in Lawn Boys, so it was fun getting a little deeper with him. The relationship between Vaughn and Vale broke my heart, but I loved that they wanted to make it work somehow. Vaughn and Vale picked up all their broken pieces, and Aiden glued it all together.

I loved this book and I can't wait to read it again.

****************
Now that the book has been released, I will add my detailed review:

I loved this book so much and it was scorching HOTT. This book gave lots of feels and left me feeling so happy and giddy.

The Glue is about Aiden, twin brother to Anthony from Lawn Boys, and son to Quinn Blakely from Mr. Blakely. In Lawn Boys we found that Aiden wasn't sure whether he preferred men or women more in relationships and was learning more about himself. In Glue, we find that he is most definitely bisexual.

This book is about a failing marriage of two people who Aiden met independently of each other yet had connections with each. It comes out that these people are married to each other and their marriage is crumbling apart even though they love each other deeply. Aiden becomes the glue to help them salvage their marriage but once the marriage is fixed, is there still room for Aiden?

The intimate scenes in this book were beyond hot. MY favorite part was that while this was a MMF book complete with lots of dirty talk and kink, it was written so tastefully, beautifully, and romantically.

The best surprise was that there are quite a few cameos from the prior book characters. It made me smile so big!

These taboo treats are everything. They give me life. I am so completely invested in these characters and their town, it feels like we are old friends and I can't wait to visit them again with each book that comes out. Thankfully there are more books to come because I don't know what I will do when they are all completed.
***************

Side note:
The already released taboo treats are and the recommended reading order is:

Coach Long
Ex-Rated Attraction
Mr. Blakely
Malfeasance
Easton (Originally titled Preach)

This is a super fast read.
It’s hot AF cause well. It’s MMF.
It’s also cheesy AF. Not to mention that the author has created a fantasy town, basically Taboo Land where all characters are in their own taboo relationships and therefore they’re more than ok with whatever fucked up arrangment any of the characters want to pursue. So as always with this author, it’s a bit unrealistic and there’s very little conflict.
Other than sex, there wasn’t much to the story, but I’ll still rate it 3 cause it’s definitely entertaining. Way better than Lawn Boys.

3 ⭐'s

I found out after I started reading this book that it's part of her taboo "series". Not that I was surprised after reading the blurb but...I have a thing for menages and I'm always looking for that "one" that can be realistic and have things work out.

I guess this story fits the work part...just not very realistically. I did enjoy it though. Aiden is hard not to like but he's too young (18) to be so astute. I really just had to go with the flow.

Vaugh and Vane are the married couple in this scenario and things haven't been going very well for them. They're about to throw in the towel when Aiden shows up. He's been trying to come to terms with his bisexuality and he doesn't want a broken marriage to mess things up.

Vaughn was interested in men before he got married so it's not a surprise he wants Aiden. Vane is also terribly infatuated with Aiden so no surprise there either. What was a surprise was how willing they both were and how quickly they jumped into things.

And even though it was predictable, I loved how things worked out with the whole "it runs in my family thing." 😉

Overall, it's a very quick and very sweet story that has a few "very steamy" moments.

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧

This is another winner from K Webster's backlist.
I haven't read any of the previous books in this series, but I'll definitely check others now.

The glue is a MMF book...
Less than 5 hours in the audiobook version, but it totally made my day better!

I freaking loved the idea of this book!

Vale and Vaughn's marriage is falling apart. They both love each other, but don't know how to reconnect after their failures as a couple. They're on the verge of divorce when, in different moments, they both met Aiden.
At first I thought that I would hate on Aiden (the Glue). That he would make their distance grow bigger and resentful. But even before they start anything, he was the wisest between them.
He always praised to them to try harder on their marriage.
He was relentless on them working their marriage up.
He was just everything!

I can't imagine their relationship any different! One was always there for the other. No jealousy. No drama. When one was down or insecure, the other two engulfed that one with love and care!
The chemistry between all of them, together or in pairs, was out of the charts, and all the sex scenes were hot as hell!

I've been struggling with my mood to read anything, and this audiobook was just as perfect as Aiden!

Loved this. I wasn't convinced after Lawn Boys how much I would love Aidan but he is so sweet, so giving and so not a doormat.
The development of the relationship between him and Vaughn felt a little more developed than with Vale. However the three of them were just adorable together
My only dislike is that Vale and Vaughn's relationship was failing because of her obsession over having a child. I'm sick of this trope. I don't like it and I felt it read unnecessary and an easy cause of conflict
Beyond that, bliss...

"We're not broken. We're just cracked. All we need is a little glue. We'll be good as new."

The Glue was such a steamy taboo MMF read. Vale and Vaugh have rit a hard rock in their marriage, and they don't know if they will make it. Both of them meet Aiden separately and feel a strong attraction/lust towards him. Vaughn is Aiden's professor and Vale is his boss at a coffee shop where he is newly employed. When they all find out about each other, they come to a conclusion that they should explore the attraction they feel for one another. Maybe Aiden will be the glue to fix their marriage.

I was invested in the story from the start, and was looking forward to reading how everything would develop between the three characters. Each and every one of them had a very interesting and likable personality, and them coming together as one felt very plausible. This story was a bit on the shorter side but it still packed a punch in my opinion. The sex scenes were so hot, and I couldn't get enough of them. I really wanted more and wish the story was a full-length novel. There were a couple of secondary characters from previous taboo stories by K. Webster, so I can't wait to go back and read their stories. If you are looking for a steamy (short) taboo read then I highly recommend this story!

* This short story is a perfect rendition of a threesome, M/M/F, that works.
We see a troubled marriage, and a college student, Aiden, who is bi and crushing on his professor, Vaughn, and his cafe/bakery boss, Vale. Both of them tempt him, but he hesitates.
When Adrien learns that they are a married couple, to each other, he realizes he doesn't want to screw up a marriage, he backs off. Vaughn and Vale haven't been able to have kids, and have grown apart and resentful. Aiden does go to visit them and they have a sit down talk. Concerns are aired and decisions made. Can Aiden be the "glue" they needed to keep the marriage from divorce?

The sexual tension and deep emotions are overwhelming them. All three people are intensely attracted, and we see them in some super hot sexy times, in either two of threesomes. Aiden's Dad is concerned, and all of them meet, because this threesome wants to last. It's more than just sex.

I loved the updates as their months flew by and we saw how they were making it work. This is well written, interesting, and heartwarming.
It surprised me and it brings our emotions into play as well.
ENJOY !

UY UY UY QUE CALOOORS!!!
Soo HOT …

I don't know if it's because I read the book at 3 am but this was just so unintentionally hilarious, and I loved it.

“You’re gay?” I ask at the same time Vaughn asks, “You’re straight?”

My husband and I share a shameful look.

“I’m bi,” Aiden snaps. “It’s a thing.”

There was just something about the situation and their dynamic that I found so comical-

I mean there were surprisingly realistic and emotional marital problems that weren't funny 💀☝️, but the range was impressive 🗿.

This was so entertaining, and the smut was just great. Alright good night 🫡.

"It appears I’ve been crushing on a fucking married couple."

The Glue
By: K. Webster
4 Stars

K. Webster has done an outstanding job bringing us quick taboo treats to read! The Glue was just what the doctor ordered.

Aiden is the young college student that just accepted a job as a barista in the local coffee shop. Along with the coffee shop, he was just offered the TA position for his college professor. One look at the coffee shop boss and Aiden knows he will have her. One look at his professor and Aiden knows he will have him.

Vale is struggling with her marriage. Struggling to keep her coffee shop open. Struggling with not being able to have a baby. Struggling with years of trying to get pregnant has put a serious damper on the marriage.

Vaughn is stuck in a rut. A rut of a marriage that he cant give his wife what she truly desires. A child. Teaching at the college is how he takes his mind off what is going on at home. No one wants to admit defeat on a marriage, yet that is his next step.

Can Aiden truly be The Glue to bring Vale and Vaughns marriage back to life? This is a quick read that is FULL of Hot Steam.

4 MMF Stars

Who doesn’t like MMF books? I’m not a fan of MM books, but there’s something about MMF that I enjoy reading. It’s like my dirty smut.

The beginning was a touch slow, but I could tell the author wanted to build a foundation and storyline, once you get to the 50% mark, it’s all systems go and go.

The couple is married and is having problems, but a boy toy come along (don’t worry, he’s 18!) and he helps the couple fixes things.

It was steamy, sweet, short and spicy. My kind of smutty read.

I love short books, when I finish some book that pulled me a lot mentally or that had subjects that made me anxious at some level I always like to read those books with a cute and fast romance.

It also works well for when I'm in literary depression (I start reading a book, read some chapters, abandon it, choose another book and do the same). K Webster knows how to write good sex scenes which helps a lot in the story.

This book is about a couple who feel that their marriage is over, the wife thinks the husband is cheating on her, the husband thinks the wife is getting worse and worse because she cannot have children and there comes our main character, who is a student of her husband and at the same time works for her and he is invited to their bed. The book is enjoyable but like all short stories we can't expect much more than good smut.
