Hats off to, Rachelle Ayala. Going Haywire makes for a tricky treat. Max wants his family back and he's willing to pull out all the stops to win back his one true love. Honey is wary, Max is daring, circumstances are hairy and things are about to get scary. Honey, Max and their antics kept me guessing until the bitter end. A slight of hand, a clever twists, were there clues I surely missed? Discovering the mystery is half the fun and the shocking end is sure to stun.

I got this ARC in exchange for an honest review and it was quite well written but I absolutely disliked the male part - for example: he knows she is scared of ghosts and horror movies but he takes her on a Halloween outing and when she is afraid and panicked he LAUGHS and when she complains that she doesn't like that and he should know he says he knows but he likes it because then she always clings to him. Idiot much? And he goes on to treat her in his high-handed way while trying to get her back in his bed (well he says he wants to salvage their broken marriage but that is all he seems to be interested in really...). Apart from that the story is interesting, but there are some thing that just don't add up for me and I didn't quite understand the end (when his parents tell her the secret) - it was confusing me instead of solving everything. But it was nice to see how the straighten out what went wrong and Sapphire Falls seems an interesting location!

Rachelle did it again! I know when I see her name as the author that it will be a great book. I loved being taken back to Sapphire Falls. It just seems like a very magical place! This story is about Honey, her children and ex spouse Max. It takes place during Halloween (what better holiday) you have scary hay rides, zombie paintball, vampires. Lots of romance, try keep trying to get frisky, but Max and Honey keep getting interrupted and the horror of your children parading around in your unmentionables. It a great story, a must to read!

"Going Haywire: A Sapphire Falls Kindle World novella) by Rachelle Ayala

What a great story of second chance love; of Halloween pranks and celebration; and new and renewed relationships/friendships.

Rachelle Ayala has written a sweet and sassy novella that is a great addition to the "Sapphire Falls Kindle World Series." She has taken two wonderful characters and an interesting plot line and written a gem of a novella.

A great read any time of the year...for any reader...

4 Star Review of Going Haywire (My Country Heart #1) by Rachelle Ayala

Audio Review:
Rachelle Ayala is a new author to me, although I have listened to the narrating duo of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel before.

The chemistry between Tor and Charley is immediately obvious and this makes listening to Going Haywire very enjoyable. They certainly brought the characters of Max and Honey to life for me.

This is a second chance at love story as Honey and Max are now divorced, even though it appears that they still love one another a great deal. There was certainly some funny moments and the scenes as Max and Honey reunited and decided to take another chance were steamy.

I loved that Going Haywire was set in the small town of Sapphire Falls and that you get the experience of living in a small town through the eyes of the characters who are celebrating Halloween..

Max grated on my nerves quite a bit. For someone that professed to want his wife back, it didn’t stop him from putting her into situations that scared her.

Overall I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading and listening to more books more from Rachelle Ayala.

Honey and Max are divorced. Unknown to Honey her in-laws don't know. When she arrives in Saphhire Falls to let her kids enjoy the Halloween festivities. Max didn't want the divorce and still loves Honey. he hopes he can prove to her and win her back. He has set up a nice relaxing vacation for her and his parents are going to watch the kids and take them to all the festivities so Honey can have a bit of time for herself. But is that really what Honey wants?
I love Rachelle Ayala romances. she creates the most believable and relatable characters. Honey is an unpublished author that creates all her heroes in her husband's image but not how she really wants him. Max is OH so sexy. A workaholic providing a very comfortable living for his family because he thinks that is what she wants based on the books she writes. the story is a big communication gap, an awesome second chance romance, fun characters, more fun storyline with some with and a twist or two. Its action packed page turning and Tor Thom has the sexiest voice and makes Max swoon-worthy. Charlie Ongel is a fabulous narrator that brings Hoey to life and together they make the best couple. I highly recommend listening if you can.

I can't do it. It looks like a fun story and I actually like the characters but by chapter 7 I just can't handle it anymore. She's a romance writer who dislikes female characters who are door mats but that's exactly what she is. She has NO backbone whatsoever. She gives into everything he wants. Ugh.

Going Haywire is a wickedly fun and hauntingly heartfelt journey of giving love a second chance. This beautiful romance is set against the ghoulishly scary holiday of Halloween. If you were ever to think of romance, it doesn’t usually go hand in hand with such a chill inducing event, but this strange stage set things up in a rather unconventional yet meaningful way. We find that our characters are fighting their own demons while real ones are bumping into them and chasing them any chance they get. Fall is such a breathtaking season all of its own that shows us the beauty that is lost amid most of the year. Vulnerability can terrify, but it can also lead to healing in the most deliciously sweet way.

Honey is invited to join her ex-husband Max to celebrate Halloween in his childhood town of Sapphire Falls. Her intention is to take her kids Mattie and Sara to Sapphire Falls to allow them the time with their dad, their grandparents, and their aunts and uncles. She is fully aware that nothing will change between her and Max just as it hasn’t for years now. However, her best of intentions are thrown to the cold wind along with the howls and screams from the creatures of the night. Max has ulterior motives, but he isn’t sure if his luck will hold. Sapphire Falls is said to hold magic when it comes to getting couples to fall in love, but can magic be enough when the heart of one is focused on things that are nowhere near as important as love?

Honey is a stubborn, loveable, and lonely woman who just longs to be loved well and thoroughly. Max wants his Honey back at all costs, but isn’t sure how to go about getting her back. With crazy missteps and hilarious hiccups, we see these two slowly peeling back the heavy defenses that have been in place for so long. Their journey is one that neither will ever forget, and this is one vacation that will be imprinted on their hearts for as long as time exists.

Rachelle Ayala has given us a fun and unforgettable treasure in this beautiful second chance at a remarkably stunning love. It is truly a shame when we allow love to slip past our fingers and be wrenched from our grasp due to everyday things in life. While it is usually never a purposely change, it is sometimes one that is very hard to come back from. Above all else, we must cherish and nurture the love that we have granted by another. Never take it for granted and never assume that it will always take the leftovers of your time and attention. Listen, feel, and, seek to keep it blazing hot, undeniably contagious, and absolutely unwavering.

I loved this book! It is nice to see a loving couple get a second chance to make it work. Honey and Max just rushed into a divorce. They didn't even try to work on it. In Sapphire Falls, it gives them the chance to see they can make their relationship work. I fell in love with Sapphire Falls. I look forward to reading Going Toe to Mistletoe and Going Hearts over Heels.

I did not see that ending coming.
Not by a long-shot.
This is a really great Halloween romance, (there's something I never thought I'd say).
Friends, family and things that go bump in the night.
Things going very, very wrong.
Not however, your typical fright fest.

Honey Myers is headed back to her ex-husband's home town of Sapphire Falls with their children Mattie (4) and Sara (16 mons) for the Sapphire Falls Halloween Festival. She isn't sure this is a good idea but seeing how excited the kids are she doesn't want to let them down.

Max Wolff knows he made a mistake letting Honey walk out of his life and not fight for their marriage but he vows to make things right again. He hasn't told any of his family that they are divorced and hopes these four days away will allow Honey to see how much he truly cares about her.

But unfortunately when there are secrets being kept sometimes things get out and then it puts everything you love in jeopardy.

This was a super interesting read based on love, second chances and Halloween! I loved that it was centered around Halloween as it's not a holiday that gets a lot of stories and I loved reading about all the fun things that were happening in Sapphire Falls. The paint ball was such a fun idea as well as the haunted house and all the different places that everyone was able to visit.

I liked that Honey was somewhat open to Max's request of pretending they were still married in order to keep the truth from his parents as Max really wanted to get back together. I loved how honest they were with each other and how Honey voiced her concerns about what broke them apart.

I never saw the twist in the ending coming! Totally took me by surprise!

Great Halloween read!

Love is sweeter the second time around

First, I loved the cover of Ms. Rachelle Ayala's new book. It looks beautiful. Second, the book is a mix of love, drama and fantasy. I admit I do not like scary stuff like vampires and zombies. It is not my cup of tea but this book is perfect for Halloween. The twist and adventures of this book is so much fun to read especially with having little kids as well.

Sometimes relationships does not last. It does not mean it could not be fix. When you open your heart to possibilities with the same man, love is sweeter the second time around. Going Haywire will do that to you. Max has a second chance to fix his relationship with his ex-wife. Sapphire Falls gave them both the chance to rekindle their romance and face what did their relationship gone wrong the first time around.

This book will show you that small town has a lot of things to offer compared to a big city. It is full of adventures when you let your eyes open. If you love to read romance with twist, adventures and Halloween, Going Haywire will make you fall in-love and will not stop reading until the last page.

Disclosure:

I received an ARC of this book in exchange of honest review.

Ms. Ayala has given us a great second chance love story set in the familiar confines of Sapphire Falls during one of the many celebrations the town in know for. Max & Honey were married & have two children. They were desperately in love until Max begins to spend all of his time at work trying to get ahead & Holly, having had enough, divorces him. Now, Max has seen the error of his ways & wants to spend the weekend at home in Sapphire Falls to enjoy a family weekend & rekindle Honey's love.

Join Max & Honey on a wild ride. The plot moves quickly but has twists & turns that appear to send the story in different directions. This story follows Honey & Max on their individual & joint journeys. Honey has to realize that she contributed to their problems with her immaturity & unwillingness to discuss things. Max is on his journey to discover how important his marriage is & the effects of stress on his life. He needs to find his "perfect" mix of work & home life& not expect Honey to do it all. Together, they need to find out if their love can survive & find a new relationship. The supporting characters add depth & dimension to the story. Good addition to the Sapphire Falls Kindle World!

Honey married and divorced Max Wolff, the father of her 2 children. Now he has suggested she take a trip to his hometown of Sapphire Falls to show their kids, Mattie and Sara, what a small town Halloween is about. She is hoping it will mean a few days relaxation for her, while Max tends to the kids. Max though, is hoping to get a few days with Honey, and that the magic of Sapphire Falls will help them find their way back to each other. At first it seems like Max is not holding up to his end of the bargain, because he is having his friend Troy stand in on his behalf with the children. Max has scheduled pampering time for Honey, but it doesn't take long for her to feel she is missing out on spending time with the kids. Honey joins in on many activities with Max and the kids and it doesn't take long for her to realize the sparks are still there between them. Can Honey make Max see that it will never work between them if he doesn't change his workaholic ways? Will he share with her the reason for some out of character behavior he has shown? A sweet and sexy romance? Can Sapphire Falls once again work it's magic? All opinions and observations are my own.

I loved this book set in the world of Sapphire Falls. Honey Myers has agreed to go on vacation with her ex-husband Max Wolff and their two kids to his hometown of Sapphire Falls. Their kids are 4 and 16 months. Max arranges for his friend Troy to pick them up at the airport and bring them to Sapphire Falls for him. As far as ex-husband's go, Max is a pretty great one. He loves his kids and pays his child support on time. He just happened to start putting his job first and let his marriage suffer. Max wants Honey back and is hoping the charm of his hometown will help rekindle their marriage and give them a second chance. Honey starts falling in love with Max and Sapphire Falls, but there's something off about Max and she's not sure if it's worth risking her heart again. I really enjoyed this story, and totally did not see the ending coming at all. I'm quite happy to see based on the previews at the end that Troy is getting his own book. I really enjoyed him.

Loved it!!!! I'm a sucker for seasonal novels, but I've never read a Halloween themed one. Going Haywire is just full of surprises and delightful characters. I fell in love with Max and Honey, their kids, the setting and the Halloween activities. The story definitely carried some magic and a little suspense that will later on be revealed as Max's darkest secret and Honey's purest proof of faith and love. After putting his family second for so long, overworked Max decides that the best way to get his family back is inviting his ex wife Honey back to his home town of Sapphire Falls to celebrate Halloween and make her fall back in love with him. But his plan backfires and a series of un-explainable and random situations put Max in a very difficult position that only truth and acceptance will get him out of. If you like second chances with likable characters and Halloween, this story is for you.

I love the Sapphire Falls series so I was excited for these Kindle Worlds.

Honey and Max have been divorced for two years when they go to Sapphire Falls to visit his family during the Halloween Festival. They divorced because Max was so focused on work that it left no time for Honey and their two children. Honey agrees to the trip since she'll have some time to herself while Max is with the kids. Max is determined to use this trip to show Honey how great their family can be and hopefully keep their divorce from his family.

This was a cute second chance romance. I loved the cameos from all of my favorite Sapphire Falls characters! I really liked this story but the end didn't really work for me. I didn't think the resolution to the conflict was a plausible explanation.

Second time around is always an exciting adventure. Max & Honey divorced two years ago & Max never told his family. Honey agrees to come to Sapphire Falls to let their children enjoy Halloween in the small town. Honey was hoping maybe things might change for both of them over the holiday. The trip ended being a wild ride for Max, Honey, their families, & friends as the plot intertwined & new adventures for all of them. As a result, they headed in different directions to rekindle their love. Max & Honey find life stresses, plus finding they both were to blame for their divorce. Great story for the Fall Season & Halloween. This is a great addition to the Sapphire Falls world. 5 Stars for Rachelle Ayala! Love it!!!!

This is my first book by Rachelle Ayala and I loved it! Honey has agreed to travel to Sapphire Falls with her ex-husband Max and their two small children to celebrate Halloween in his hometown. Max is hoping to rekindle their relationship with the magic of Sapphire Falls. Honey is unsure of what Max is up to, she still loves Max but doesn't like how he puts work in front of his family. Max tries to show Honey all the fun there is to be had during the Halloween festival in attempt to win her back, but there also happens to be some things that can't be explained. There are plenty of twist and turns in Going Haywire that keeps you wanting more. This is a great addition to the Sapphire Falls Kindle World.

This sweet novella is perfect just in time for Halloween. It follows Honey and her ex-husband, Max, who travel to Sapphire Falls to give their two young children the perfect Halloween Treat. This novella is very well written and developed with no plot-holes. The character's are realistic with real emotions and flaws. The secondary character's are funny. This novella is sweet, sexy, & romantic. There are many twists & turns & a deep dark secret is revealed. The ending will shock you. If you love Halloween stories I recommend reading this as you will not be disappointed. This is a fun read as I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I was given a free copy in exchange for a honest review.

I love Sapphire Falls and have recently found Rachelle Ayala so I was excited to read this Kindle World book. This is a very good novella. Many of the main characters from Sapphire Falls were present in this one. Honey and Max are a divorced couple who have two children and decided to make a Halloween trip to sapphire Falls where Max grew up. With the magic of Sapphire Falls they will see if they can rekindle that love. Follow the twists and turns as they try and find their way back to each other. The ending kind of lost me, but overall the book was good.

WOW!!!! Loved it!!! I don't even know where to begin. I was so engrossed in this fantastic story. I was engrossed because all of the Halloween activities that this small town community put of drew me in. I really wanted to visit the town and makes the perfect scene for Honey and Max's second chance especially with their adorable kids. This small town gives Honey a major wake up call. It also shows how a small town community comes together and supports each other. I highly recommend reading this book.

Honey and her husband Max divorced each other and he never told his parents. He is taking their children to Sapphire Falls to visit his parents for Halloween. He invites Honey to come along hoping they will get back together.

She divorced Max because he spent to much time away from his family working. Will he be able to change his ways and make Honey is wife again. You won't want to miss reading this book and it makes me want to move to Sapphire Falls and share the fun.

Another great book by Rachelle Ayala. Definitely a must for every romance reader.

I really enjoyed this book and I really enjoyed hating the main character in this story. She was just pure annoyance and acted like a spoiled brat and nothing was her fault, and she is a mother of two. I was new to Sapphire Falls and that made it a little bit harder to understand parts of what was going on, characters around and so on, but I still enjoyed reading the book.

The story is very well written and that is something I like.

Cleaver and captivating, you are lead on a journey of two people who clearly love each other but have so many hurdles one wonders what will come out of the woodwork next to prevent them from finding their way to back! Rachelle Ayala's story is so imaginative you can't not read this book! Another good read to wrap yourself in!

This is a well-written, sweet, sexy, fun to read story. This is yet another wonderful addition to the Sapphire Falls world. There are good intentions, ulterior motives, ups and downs throughout this really fun story. This is a second chance novella that can teach us some good things.
