Nicole has a plan. She’s going to put in her time as a deputy at a rural sheriff’s department and earn the experience that will let her transfer to a larger city. Nothing is supposed to get in the way of that plan, certainly not some tall, dark, and sexy stranger haunting her dreams.
Hybrid Joran knows the final battle against the twisted Agatha and her monstrous Glycons is coming. The evil woman might be hiding behind a mysterious blue dome, but her schemes aren’t done, and in the end, more innocent people in Eagle Ridge will die if she’s not stopped.

When a chance encounter on the road leads to Joran saving Nicole, the hybrid thinks his opportunity to get to know the woman has finally come, but the darkness threatening the town doesn’t care about love or passion. Now the two will have to stand against the shadowy death that threatens to swallow Eagle Ridge whole.

After leaving the frozen tundra of the north, Madison was more surprised than anyone with how much she has enjoyed living in the desert. Seeing as she had stated on more than one occasion how much she hated the heat, it was an odd move. But it seemed her hatred for sub-zero temps and ice, or really the things that ice could do, won out in the end.
When she’s not writing, she’s enjoying time with her family. Madison and her family frequent festivals in the area, as well as local cultural events, and spend time with family in the area. In the summer she is most likely to be found in the pool with the family and in the winter by the fireplace. Since both her children are autistic, days can be a little chaotic but with her husband beside her, there’s nothing she can’t handle. Luckily he is also an author and able to share in all the activities (and chores) special needs kids require.

Nicole has a plan for her career, and life. Work as a Sheriff's deputy for 5 years in a small town (doing that now), gain everyday, ordinary policing experience (supposed to be doing that now)... take this girl to the big city!
Meet a hot hybrid named Joran and discover the world is more complicated and fascinating than you ever knew? Not in the plan... but life tends to happen.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read moves the overarching arc forward in some major ways. This series is proving to be quite different than the Luna Lodge series, with these books feeling more tightly focused on one couple, and while they are still part of a community, by comparison, there are few scenes with other members of the community (hybrid or mate/Vestal).

Koran #10 03/01/2021
Koran has been visiting Nicole’s dreams for sometime but now he has to show his self to save her. But he also gets himself put in jail by her. But after that she not sure about him. He is hiding something. After a date that goes a little wrong and some hot sex the secret comes out and now she doesn’t know how she feels about him. But trouble is coming for them. So enjoy another good read and see what the trouble is and how they handle it !!
