GOD ALWAYS HAS THE PERFECT PLAN

I enjoyed this clean Christian based story that is an addition to the contemporary Lawkeepers series and also one of the K-9 stories. There is a great cast of characters along with two special people and some of their personal issues that will become involved in a relationship. This story has strong Christian principles and faith in God.

What a joy to see more from the story, Lawfully Adored, with Officer Aiden O’Connell and social worker, Lindsey Wright planning their wedding, along with taking courses to become foster to adopt parents for Alex Sterling. Because of Alex, they are planning to marry and time everything with the end of their fostering classes so that Alex can move in with them as soon as possible.

“We know the Lord put this on our hearts to do it.”

The story is a clean romance with strong Christian principles, a couple who have put their faith in God, and pray together about everything in their lives. They are open and invite friends to join them at church without being pushy, allowing God to work through their lives and testimony. Co-workers, friends, and even family are brought together and to church.

“When you have God in your life, you put Him first, your partner second, and yourself last. If you’re both doing that, it makes the most solid foundation.”

I love how the story shares bits and pieces of both Aiden’s job as a K-9 officer, his dog Cooper, and his duties and rescues. Lindsay is a social worker and the struggles she faces by placing children in the home, especially one troubled little girl. It was through Alex that Aiden and Lindsay were brought together and they are excited to start their marriage and have Alex in their lives. For him, several new first will be shocking to the O’Connells.

When trouble comes calling it will put Aiden and Lindsay to the test, and they must trust their training, their instincts and that God is in charge. The smart thinking of Alex will help during the crisis.

The story is full of emotional scenes, happy tears, intense situations, and blessings. A father and daughter will reunite. A man and woman will marry. A little boy will find a forever home. Several friends will find peace, acceptance, and forgiveness in church and find God. And then there is a surprise or two. It is a great example of faith, trust, and seeing the hand of God made possible.

“I sure am. I think it’s cool, like God planned it.” “You’re right, Alex,” Aiden agreed. “God knew exactly what He was doing today.”

The story is a great example of how with God all things are possible, and Aiden and Lindsay will be surprised with a gift from God they never expected or anticipated. There are healing and renewed relationships. Maybe Zach and Erica will eventually find peace.

Another sweet romance by Jenna Brandt. Part of the Lawkeeper series, this one takes off where Lawfully Adored left off with Aiden and Lindsey. Now they are preparing for their wedding and adopting Alex after fostering him. Full of emotions, tense situations and a love that will conquer all with their faith, this story will keep you turning the pages.

DEEP HEARTWARMING LOVE!!!
OMG! Jenna really nailed this bad boy. Talk about a grand slam. I was captivated from the first word to the last. It really touch my heart with all the love that flows from the pages into the reader. Yeah, I shed a few tears, I'm not afraid to admit it. Realistic doesn't come close to how alive and promising this tale is. There's suspense that keeps you on edge, but the overflowing feelings from the main and secondary characters are on point and true to form. I don't know if it can get better than this. You know I may have said that about every story Jenna writes. The truth is, is that she has such talent and insight she always brings it into everything she creates. That's my opinion, but mines the only one that counts here. LOL. The characters are well developed and believable. Their personalities are unique with individuality that play off one another beautifully. The scenes are graphically described so well it adds the perfect balance. With a few twists and unexpected surprises this read totally rocks and I would wholeheartedly recommended this read to anyone who loves a fantastically clean, well written romance. Jenna did a magnificent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Remarkable job Jenna, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

Not great

The story was slow and the dialogue felt unnatural and lacking.

But what I really disliked about it was the way the characters are made to look bad so the "christian" characters look better.
Like Erica and her nasty comments to Zach and his date. Aiden had been trying to get Zach to church for awhile. But, why would he go when church people spoke with such venom to him. Way to show the love of Christ to someone. Insult them and be unnecessarily nasty. (Now, he comes on strong for sure. But she was so nasty to him and his date before that.)
There's also this disconnect between Aiden and Zach. Zach definitely has some issues and is crass, but then why is Aiden his BFF? It comes across as showing Aiden as some golden child with manners and Zach as a misogynist jerk. How is he supposed to redeem himself?
I dislike the way anyone who isn't a christian in this story is just described as less than. We all fall short of the glory of God. And showing grace and love is Christ's way.

Loved this inspirational novel by Jenna Brandt. The characters were incredible, and I loved all of them, especially Aiden and Lindsay! I loved the faith elements interwoven throughout the entire novel. God was at the centre of everything and even when things seemed to be going wrong, God was in control at all times. The plot was solid and interesting, and I enjoyed the setting. A great addition to the Lawkeeper series! I would recommend this to all lovers of clean, inspirational romances.

RATING: 4 points

1-5 SCALE:
1: I couldn’t even finish it
2: I hope I didn’t pay for this / disappointing
3: I didn’t hate it, but I didn't like it either
3.5: On the line between good and ok
4: Solid story / worth reading
4.5: So very close to perfection! / must read
5: I could not put it down and I’m still thinking about it!

Another great read from an up and coming author, Jenna Brandt, and an outstanding addition to the Lawkeeper's series. In my opinion, sequels are usually not as good as the first book, but this story squashes that theory! Lawfully Wedded portrays Aidan and Lindsay's romantic journey through engagement, adoption classes, and finally to their marriage. This is not to say the journey is all rosie and perfect. That would be boring! There are trials, suspense, and twists and turns in the plot but God is evidently in control. Characters are real and relatable, and fit into the plot perfectly. Their individual personalities entwined to create a story that is hard to put down. I highly, highly recommend this book. Jenna never disappoints.

Jenna Brandt has written another good K-9 Lawkeeper Romance. Between Lindsay's job as a child services worker, Aiden's job as a police officer, all the situations that come because of those jobs, a wedding, an adoption, etc.; Lawfully Wedded moves at a quick pace. I enjoyed the faith aspect of the story. I liked the characters. Honestly, I don't think this is the author's best, but that may be because I like the beginning of the romance more than the settling into a relationship. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.

This story held my attention, had me laughing and crying and totally enjoying what I was reading.
It has a cute little boy who doesn't know where home is until Lindsay and Aiden take him under their wings.
After that, there are some interesting twists and turns involving the K-9 dog and Aiden's human police force partner, a mountainside rescue and also a few incidents with their fostered son's mother.
I really enjoyed this book and am quite happy to recommend it.
I read an advance copy and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of it.

Police Drama – Romance
This is a faith-filled police drama and romance. The plot is good and well executed. The characters are as deep as to be expected in a novella length story. This is the first of this K-9 Lawkeeper Romance series that I've read. There is a lot of the dogs in the story, which I love. It is also a sweet and clean story so the police drama is pretty lightweight. I have read other works by this author and this story is in keeping with her other fine work. I received this ARC book for free and this is my honest review.

I received this book from the author, this review is my honest opinion.

Lawfully Wedded

This book is a continuation of a story I read previously. This story is of the marriage of Aiden O’Connell and Lindsay Wright. Lindsay is a social worker. She and Aiden had bonded with a specific child in a group home they were both helping. After they decided to marry, they also decided to adopt the child, Alex. Things were going as planned until his birth mother shows up. What will become of Alex and their new family?

I loved this sweet, clean romance. Even if you have not read Lawfully Adored where you first meet Aiden and Lindsay, you will still enjoy this continuation of their story. This book has it all - a dedicated K-9 officer, the K-9 dogs themselves, a selfless social worker, a darling boy they plan to foster to adopt, a wedding, etc. I had to read it straight through. I highly recommend this book.

Great Continutation

I enjoyed the previous book, and while this book can likely stand on it's own, its way more fun to read it after Lawfully Adored. This was cute and sweet. I love the role Alex played and how they grew together as a family. I would rate this PG, sweet and clean.

This is a wonderful story about two people with their hearts wide open. They fall in love with each other, and accept each other for who they are. They also have room in their hearts for a young boy. Between the excitement of Aiden being a cop and Lindsay's job as a social worker, these two have their hands full and lots of love to give and share.

This book tells more of Cooper, Aiden & Alex. This tells of their wedding, how their family grows in a way besides adopting Alex. Also the struggle Alex has with his abusive mother. Very well written. You should read Lawfully Adored first to get the full story. I enjoyed this one as much as the first.

I am enjoying the "Lawfully" series. Interesting characters and careers. You get a look at the life of police along with their trained dogs. In this one they are search and rescue. A story of hope, love, and trials. But best of all is God's promises.
