Four years ago, I met Noah while freelancing in Australia. Sexy and charming, he was the whole package. After a weekend fling, we parted ways and I thought I’d never see him again. But I remembered him. I remembered him very well. How could I forget the father of my daughter? Now, I’ve been hired to take photos at an engagement party, and guess who’s the fiancé? Noah. I want him, but I have to stay away.
Noah
I met Jessica ‘down under’ four years ago. She was my kind of girl--- curvy, hot, adventurous and I wanted more. But I had to go back home and take care of my father’s business. So I kissed her goodbye and that was it. Only it wasn’t. Now, Jessica’s back in the picture--actually, I’m the one in the picture: She’s been hired as the photographer for my engagement party. Talk about the irony. Seeing her again makes me realize I’m living a lie. Is it too late for a game-changer?

I absolutely love a second chance romance and this one was so freaking good! Noah and Jess were awesome they had some wicked chemistry right from the beginning. I loved the storyline I also love it when you are that wrapped up in the story that you automatically put yourself in the situation whilst reading. I felt Noah’s anger and Jess’s hurt, I loved Maya as well.

So, this book is about Jessica and Noah. They've met while both were on a trip to Australia, but never saw each other again after that. Funny how destiny works, they meet again at his engagement party, which is nothing but a show put to his family. The story starts good, telling why Noah is doing what he is doing and, telling about Jessica's life.
I'm giving 2 stars because: First: I'm not really a fan of secret baby romances but I enjoy them, however, this one just made me angry. I've never been in Jessica's position so I'm not one to judge, but it was extremely wrong how she kept it a secret even when he was "free" and the excuses that she made were even more insulting. Second: I do love a steamy romance with some steamy scenes but, this was too much! There were so much sex scenes that it started getting boring and I started skipping those parts because I wanted to see more dialogue, I wanted her to tell him everything already. C'mon, talk woman! It was too much for me, it came out to be so superficial that I did not enjoy those scenes. Third: How on earth is a grown man, CEO of a huge company is not able to dictate his own life? Listening to his mom and marrying because of status and his father's wishes. He was a pushover. Not cool.
The epilogue was amazingly beautiful, it was the best part of this book.
I'm not surprised that I enjoyed this so much. I've enjoyed all of her books so fart. I will admit at times this book frustrated me. His ex and his mother were hard to like. Thankfully by the end of the book the mother was likable. I was also upset about how Jessica handled the news of him being a father. I was just glad that it didn't take too long to get everything settled. Of course them having a HEA was the best part.
they met on in Australia and they had a great time and they left not expecting anything from each other. she was left with an unexpected surprise. she wouldnt change it for the world. they meet again as she is to take photos at his engagement party. he finally realises what he really needs. see what he will do now

Jessica Diaz, a freelance photographer, was enjoying a beautiful day at the Australian beach, surfing the perfect waves. Tired, she went for the final wave and almost smashed into another surfer. For a moment, she panicked underwater. Then she relaxed and let her body’s instincts get her out of trouble. She swam to the beach and laughed as she stood up. A man behind her asked if she was okay after their crash. He was very handsome, and introduced himself as Noah. Both of them loved travel and adventure, they discovered. And since they wanted to know more about each other, they met for dinner as well.
A walk on the beach in the night air was magic. Noah finally pulled her in for a kiss, and Jess invited him back to her room. He loved that she had a wild side just like he did. But he had an early flight to catch and had to go. His father had cancer and he was expected to step in and run the business, a chain of hotels. But he knew he would never forget Jess.
Jess was heading off on a business trip four years later, her sister Angie watching Jess’ wonderful daughter, Maya. As a single mom, her daughter was her everything! Jess was still doing photography, mostly weddings, and usually stayed close to home. But this time, the money was too good to pass up.
The driver pulled up to the gorgeous estate and Jess looked around at the beautiful statues and grounds. The hostess led her Inside and to the back garden were happy guests mingling and having fun. Then the woman who hired her, Melanie Carter, came down the stairs with her fiancé standing next to her – she looked into the eyes of Noah, the father of her child!
Noah and Melanie’s wedding plans had been a charade all along. Asking her to marry him was fulfilling his father’s dying wish, but it was not what he wanted. They were so different from each other, and he knew she didn’t love him either. He had been thinking of cancelling the engagement for some time now and, seeing Jess again, knew that was what he had to do. He tried to tell his mother this, but she refused to listen. He went to talk to Melanie but she stated that she would not allow him to break off the engagement either. She said he owed it to his father’s last wishes! The wedding would go forward! Was he really only a pawn in these plans? Would he be forced to put his own love aside for family duty? And what would he do when he found out about his daughter?
This was a good book, where we see two people so well suited for each other and a missed opportunity. Fate brings the two back together and Noah realizes he can't marry Melanie. Despite knowing Noah never loved her, Melanie is determined to go forward with the wedding as if he didn’t matter. His own mother would back her up, since both women would “not allow” him to back out! And unfortunately, Jess did not seem to be willing to push things, despite the fact this was the father of her child. It was fascinating to see how everyone had their own reasons and it seemed the tangled web would never be sorted out! Grab your copy and find out what the future holds.
One wild and crazy night, no last names, no real life information just passion. That was what Jessica and Noah agreed to one night years ago in Australia. They met while surfing, actually while crashing into one another. Went out for dinner and then “dessert” back in her hotel room. The next morning sent Noah back to his real life and Jessica finishing her trip around the globe. They didn’t exchange numbers so there was no chance to see each other again. Or was there?
4 years later finds Photographer Jessica on her way to an engagement party where she was hired to take engagement photos of the happy couple. Except that happy couple was ½ Noah who looked just a yummy as he did that one wild night.
Noah is just as surprised to see Jessica at his engagement party. It just cemented within himself that he couldn’t live a lie. He had to break up with Melanie, his father’s last wish was for him to marry her but he didn’t love her. Seeing Jessica again made him even surer of what he had to do.
But Jessica had a secret, a 4-year-old secret. She never planned to tell Noah but now that she has fallen for him again and can see a future as a family, can she honestly keep it from him.
After a little reworking this 4 1/2 star read has me anxious for more. I received an advance copy without expectation for review. Any and all opinions are my own. Overall I enjoyed this story, it was a quick read without feeling like I rushed through. Lots of hot sex scenes!! I have read quite a few books by Ms. Carleson and will continue to snag them up in the future. I think YOU will enjoy this second chance love with secret baby twist HEA too.

This book was VERY fast paced. One chapter we get the meet and greet between the two main characters and how she got pregnant. Second chapter she’s rolling up to his engagement party four years later. The writing to me was very juvenile. Jessica threw her daughter at her sister every chance she got to spend time with Noah and go away for the weekend or stay at his place. Noah went over to her place a lot and out of all the photos on the wall, there wasn’t one of their daughter? There wasn’t any kind of mess or toys in the house he couldn’t see to put together that she had a kid? I would love to know how she does that considering I can’t keep a room clean for more than 5 minutes with my 3 year old. Another thing that bothered me was that she didn’t tell him. She was encouraging when he wanted to break up the engagement with his fiancé. He wanted adventure with nothing to hold him back and I feel like having a kid can kind of hold someone back and yet she didn’t tell him. She made him fall in love with her before she even considered allowing him to know about his daughter. I find that very selfish. Also, the daughter would be 3 years old in this book and yet talking like she’s a six or seven year old. That kid must be wicked smart for saying some of the words she spoke and absolutely PERFECT sentences. This book was okay but I would not read it again. 2.5 stars
loved the idea behind Noah and Jessica reconnecting after an amazing night 4 years previous that had stayed with both of them ever since. The added complication of Noah being engaged and Jess being employed to take photos at the engagement party was a clever way for the 2 to meet again and the extra drama added by Melanie gave the story some fab twists and turns. I didn’t particularly like the way Jess chose to keep their daughter a secret for so long and kept willing her to tell Noah, I completely understood her reasonings to start with but as time went on I felt she was being unfair and I wish this had been dealt with quicker and that Maya had been in the book more as I think she could have added an extra ‘cute’ level. I also struggled to deal with some of the passionate screens, they went from being sexy and erotic to making me cringe which diminished my overall enjoyment of the book slightly. It’s still very much worth a read, the love story is good and has the happy ever after that I was looking for, overall it’s a well written, decent book and I am grateful to have been able to review this book and happily supply an honest and voluntary review.

What a fun sweet love story. Jessica (Jess) is a carefree, adventure loving freelance photographer on assignment in Australia. She decides to go surfing and literally bumps into another surfer. When she gets back to the beach she comes face to face with the surfer she bumped into, Noah. He looks like the poster boy for bad boys and she is immediately attracted to him. They go to dinner and one thing leads to another and they spend the night together. Noah leaves the next morning leaving no last name or phone number with Jess. A short while later Jess finds out she is pregnant. With no way to find Noah she accepts that she will be a single mother to her child. Fast forward four years and they find each other again, but Noah is engaged. Will the spark they felt in Australia be rekindled? Will Noah walk away from his "arranged" engagement for a chance with Jess? Will Jess do the right thing and tell Noah about Maya? One click this sweet love story to find out.
I would like to thank Krista Carleson for the opportunity to read this book early for my honest review.
Noah and Jessica met when each was free to do what they wanted. They spent an incredible night together but had to leave the next morning to return home. Jessica was saddened to see him go but understood that life had to go on. Four years later when Jessica goes to take engagement photo she runs into Noah again however it was for his engagement. Noah knows that when he sees Jessica again that he can get married when he still has feelings for her. They reconnect but each time Jessica knows she needs to tell him her secret but she is afraid of how he'll react. She doesn't want to lose him after just finding him again. However will Noah be able to forgive her for not telling him immediately about his daughter?
his is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Noah and Jessica is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this story to any book lover.

Jessica and Noah meet in Australia and spend a night together, not bothering to change phones and surnames. Four years later, they meet again when Jessica is hired as a photographer for Noah's engagement party. The sparks still fly between them, but due to the situation, they keep distance from each other. Noah realizes that he is not living the life he really wants for himself and decides to end his engagement to be with Jessica, but things are not as simple as he imagined. When they finally get together, Jessica takes some time to tell him about their daughter, Maya, and that's a problem for Noah, who believes she lied to him. Will they be able to stay together after this revelation? I liked the story, but at times I thought that it was very much in the sexual encounters between them and didn't develop much story. I missed more interactions between the characters and their daughter. I recommend the reading.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Jessica and Noah. Imagine finding the perfect person for you, who completes you and make you happy only to have them leave with out any way to get in touch. Well this is exactly what happens to Jessica. She and Noah meet in Australia while she is shooting picture and he is on holiday, but Noah needs to head home to take over his father's hotel chain since he is sick. Jessica brings home a little reminder of their wonderful weekend in the form of Maya. So imagine both their surprise when Jessica is booked to do a engagement shoot and Noah happens to be the Fiance. Follow them as they learn about each other and how special their time together really was, got it affected them more than just a fling and how they can become a family. Great read for a day at the pool.

An amazing heartfelt, steamy and exciting second chance romance with an enthralling well-developed plot that will tug on your heart strings. It is a well written page turner that moves at a brisk pace. The plot is consistent, relatable, and well-developed. The characters Jessica and Noah are great together, loveable, strong, and show true depth. A vacation fling turned out to be so much more between them. Their instant chemistry is off the charts and the copious amount of hot descriptive sex with sparks so explosive will melt your kindle. A little drama and some hiccups make this book a worthwhile read. Jessica, Maya (daughter), and Noah … a ‘Perfect Picture’ indeed! Jessica, a freelance photographer hooked up with Noah for one memorable night while in Australia four years ago. They part with no exchange of last names nor contact info but she later discovers she's pregnant and now has a daughter Maya. They have a surprise meeting back home when she is contracted to be the photographer for a rich couples engagement party (Noah is the intended groom). Apparently they still have feelings for each other and manage to get together after Noah breaks up with his fiancé. Naturally there are complications that ensue but I'll encourage you to purchase this book to enjoy the HEA yourselves. This is a well written book with well developed characters that I enjoyed reading.

Krista has a gift that she translates onto the pages of her books & I have been a huge fan since the amazing Pathways series. This compelling story did not disappoint. The story has been told by previous reviewers so I won't repeat it but the beautiful craftsmanship was so compelling, the sexual chemistry that didn't diminish after so many years apart between the hero & heroine, &, in fact, became more intense, phew! the secret she had no way of telling him that brought even more joy when it was revealed had me reaching for the tissues. What can I say, I love a good blub & the steam! Sjoe!
