This was a great conclusion to this series.
I liked how much the characters have grown, especially Lia and Lukan. Lia is still strong willed and determined but she is not so quick to act on her anger now, she takes time to consider other people and the consequences. Lukan is stronger, braver and more confident than ever and he's a great asset to his community.
The pacing was just right and I flew through this book in no time. I enjoyed the world building, especially when Lukan went exploring but I'd love to know what else is out there, if there are any other communities etc.
Sometimes the characters would state that something in particular will happen in 2 weeks and then on the next page, it's happened. This was done a few times and it would confuse me and pull me out of the story each time as I had to go back and check to see if I'd accidentally missed anything.
The ending was great and I was glad to see the people of Terra Convex and the people of Grayson finally achieve their goals. The epilogue was a nice touch and even though it was 4 years later, I liked finding out what had happened with the characters in that time.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this series.
