It was supposed to just be a quick trip to Manhattan.
My best friend was heartbroken. She needed support, and I needed inspiration.
I hoped to love the city. Bustling. Crazy. Inspiring New York.
But I ended up at the airport, heading home in the same condition that I arrived.
In a rut.
Add to all that, missing my flight and losing my laptop—the laptop, where the Best Love Story Ever sat on my hard drive.
Enter Noah Steele. Eerily familiar. Movie star. Heartthrob. Sultry romeo with bedroom eyes.
(But we’re not going there.)
He missed his flight too.
Noah is so smoldering, lip-bitingly hot, he’s not taken seriously as an actor, and is struggling to launch his career in New York.
He’s only ever had superficial girlfriends, so he’s having trouble showing true passion in his acting—the same challenge I’m having with this book.
When we met, we didn’t know that our connection would bring us the change we’d been craving.
That we’d be the very thing the other needed and didn’t know.
Each other’s muse.

➳A sexy standalone filled with an abundance of chemistry and admiration towards Noah and Becka...

➳I am keeping this review short and sweet because my infatuation with Katy's writing is one that has never been diminished no matter what. There are a few book here and there that are not five stars for sure, but no matter what, I am never disappointed with the results. MUSE is no exception, and with the raw passionate chemistry that both characters, Noah and Becka, seem to have, it's a no brainer that people must get on this novel ASAP to experience an amazing ride.

➳For many, Katy's writing is fast paced but that's what I love about it. No matter what she is capable of writing, her characters just seem to be attached and connect with each other. Noah is a sexy jerk, who has an ego that goes to the roof. While Becka is this shy author who is looking for her next big hit of a novel, a novel that Noah is so upfront about when discussing the honesty of how cliche she is being. To her, critic like that is not common so she takes it offensively. Slowly, after a tardiness of an obstacles at JFK, Noah and Becka learn more about each other making their attraction more palpable.

➳After learning more about each other, and Becka finding out the real identity of Noah the famous actor, they both encounter upon the idea of exploring the idea of being together. Obstacles are thrown their way, obstacles that become harder for Noah to stay away from Becka making you adore Noah more and more through every page.

➳Overall, this was such a sweet, fun filled with sexiness of a novel that will have you wanting more of the MANHATTAN men. This series never stops getting better and better by the pages. Katy has outdone herself with exploring more in depth the physical attraction that is Noah and Becka.

I reach my finger out and try to smooth out the crease of worry between her eyes. She’s quiet. She might be thinking of leaving. How she doesn’t want to. The chasm of unsaid things between us widens further. Soon it will be too late to say any of them at all.

Katy Evans has yet again delivered another wildly entertaining and steamy romance. At times, MUSE could even be considered a romantic comedy. It was light on angst, heavy on the schmexy and topped off with a swoony happily ever after! One thing is for certain, Ms. Evans knows how to create some truly incredible Heroes. Just one look at this cover and there’s no way you can’t help but fall hopelessly in love with Noah Steele.

I love a good romance with a Hollywood actor. There are a few that I hold dear to my heart. Noah Steele’s sweetness and charisma captivated me early on in the story. He’s a pretty easy going man who might have played the field in his past but isn’t closed off to the notion of finding that one special woman who could steal his heart and it looks like Rebecca might be his lady love.

The two meet at JFK airport where they both miss their flight to Dallas. Their steamy whirlwind romance takes place during their 16-hour layover in the big apple. The chemistry between Noah and Rebecca was palpable and I just knew that once these two gave in to their passion that their story was going to burn hotter than the sun.

But can a shy romance writer from Texas and a huge Hollywood A-Lister, have a chance at an HEA? Noah and Rebecca make the most out of their time together, believing that a forever for them is impossible. Will they be able to walk away from each other with their hearts still intact?

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 5
Heroine: 4.5
Plot: 4
Angst: 4
Steam: 4.5
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 5

-“It’s never the place. It’s always the person.”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Rebecca Stone is a 25 yr. old writer from Texas. She went to New York to visit her best friend Bryn. While there she was hoping to do some research, and hopefully finish her romance novel that was set in NYC. She thought she could absorb everything the city had to offer, and the change of scenery would give her inspiration. Unfortunately she was still suffering from writer's block, and now she's heading back home. She's ended up at the airport feeling the same as she did when she arrived. Then she misses her flight, loses her laptop, and things just continue to fall apart and spiral out of control. In the midst of her airport chaos, a beautiful stranger seems to keep showing up out of the blue and coming to her rescue. Something about him is familiar, but she can't quite figure it out.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Noah Steele is a Hollywood movie star from LA who wants a more serious role. He wanted to launch his acting career in NY, but things don't go as planned. After a failed audition he meets a gorgeous woman named Becka when they both miss their 5:15 flight out of JFK. He refuses to call his NYC trip a total loss. He has fifteen hours to kill, and wants to get to know Becka. The moment he touched her there was an undeniable spark, and he wanted to explore it. He flirts and shamelessly comes on to her. He's a delicious heartthrob she eventually can no longer resist. She's deeply affected by him, and as something shifts between them, they can't deny their irresistible connection and insane chemistry. Something is happening between them they've never felt, but tomorrow they will have to go their separate ways. They are crazy about each other, and neither want it to end, but they have their careers in different cities, and live totally different lives. They always knew their time was limited, but how will they say goodbye? They find the change they've been craving in each other and what the other needed. They are each others muse and magic. Together they are inspired and now own pieces of each others heart they will never be able to recover.

-Hollywood is plastic. Fake. And she’s the realest thing I’ve ever known.

-I think of the way he smells. The way he kisses. The way he touches me. I can't think of a single damn thing that isn't about him.

Muse is a fantastic standalone romance that takes place in a short amount of time, where every second counts. Where you have to be spontaneous, and just follow your heart and live in the moment. It was a fun, flirty story full of emotion. I loved Noah's character so much! Complete swoon overload!!! It was such a fabulous book that I can't quit thinking about.

Becka and Noah meet at JFK airport. Mostly disappointed by life and by New York.

Becka:
New York can be a cruel, cruel city.
......
Truth is, I’m not sure I like New York. It just wasn’t what I expected, it didn’t give me what I needed…and I’m pretty sure New York doesn’t like me back.

Noah :
I’d wanted to take a bite out of the Big Apple, making my mark on Broadway and showing off my acting chops.
Instead, I feel like the Big Apple took a bite out of my ass.
“You’re a little too pretty and buff to be our Hamlet.”

And then everything happens so really fast.

They miss their flight.
They reschedule their flight.
Noah loses his wallet.
Becka loses her pink laptop.
They help each other.
They play games.
They meet everyday people at the airport.
They laugh.
They fall in love.
Anything to kill the countless hours that they need to wait at the airport until the next available flight.

Noah will introduce New York to Becka again. And this time it will be transformed. Full of colours, vibrant, full of passion, laughter and love.

Will they say goodbye in the end?

Are these just a few stolen moments away from their harsh reality.

I don’t want to fall asleep. If I do, when we wake up, we’ll only have a short time before we have to return to the real world.
And I’m not sure I want to go yet.

Becka needs to go back to her city and finish her novel. Noah neds to be back to Hollywood and become once more Megalith.

The book has the romantic appeal of an old romantic comedy movie. I could actually imagine this book as the script of a feel-good movie. It is fast-paced. Every second counts. Every word the lovers exchange has an inner depth.

I love how the sunlight coming up outside the window seems to greet our entwined bodies with a thousand and one tiny kisses. I love how New York is suddenly the best place on earth. I love that I’m alive right at this moment, in this city, with this guy, in this very room, and suddenly I love every coincidence and event that happened in my life to lead me here.
I love…

And it is a totally standalone book, although it is part of Manhattan series.

PERFECT!

I JUST LOVED THIS BOOK!

Yes, it's not über-intelligent-literature. It's a tiny little bit ridiculous in its insta-ness and its can-something-like-that-happen-to-real-people?-ness.
BUT I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF MUSE

I loved Noah and I loved Rebecca. I didn't mind the insta-attraction at all. I loved the whole idea that this falling-in-love thing takes place over only 2 days - in an airport and hotels and New York City. I adored their talks, their adventures, the sexiness, the laughter, the sad-ish moments.

I want to see this on tv one day - and I also wouldn't mind a sequel - a 1-year/5-year/10-year later thing.

I started reading and I didn't stop until the book was finished. Which surprised me a bit. This is probably Katy's best work - at least for me it was (and I LOVED Remy!!!), but I just adored this one sooo much.
There were no stupid misunderstandings. No unnecessary drama. No bitchy exes or other idiot people coming between them. It was a love story about two people. Two people being in one place at some kind of troublesome moment in their lives.
Meet-cute.
48 amazing hours of falling in love and getting their lives back on track.
Just perfect.
At least for me it was.

READ IT! It's funny, sexy, adorable. The perfect escape from your life for a few hours!

Also - don't worry about this being part of a series. The girls from the first two books only appear in text messages and a mini-meeting on the streets. No need to read the other books. But you should of course☺

“Fuck the Some Day. Let’s do the Right Now.”

Noah and Becka meet in an airport when they both miss their flight. He ends up helping her try to find her laptop when she realizes it's missing. Becka is really affected by him and he just loves the realness of that but he's always trying to make a move on her.

I loved how much they got to know each other and how in sync they were. However, it kind of drove me crazy with everything happening in a few days especially that first day/night. I also hated the missing laptop...stuff like that drives me crazy.

Likes:

💓Scavenger hunt.
💓Family restrooms. 😉
💓Fate or they were just really lucky.
💓How Noah always took care of her when she had panic attacks.
💓Noah helping her make her book better.

Dislikes:

💔Too much happening in a quick time frame.
💔Missing laptop and wallet!
💔All the missed flights bugged me too!
💔I wanted more in the epilogue.

I really enjoyed the story...it had more of a lighter feel even though they were very connected. It's a really quick read but I wish there was more "advancement" in the epilogue. I'm curious if Lily will get a book now?

3 'Right Now' Stars!

As always, with Katy's releases, Muse was an entertaining and sexy read, that is for sure! I enjoyed it. Is it my favorite? I am sorry to say it but no, it is not. I enjoyed it because I love Katy's writing and I was curious about what would happen with Becka's love story. I always have high expectations with Katy Evans but this time were not completely reached.

The whole love story happens in 2-3 days. Insta love, sex everywhere, falling in love, everything. Have I enjoyed this type of books in the past? Yes, I have. But I really wasn't able to connect fully with Becka and Noah, I don't know why. Yes, their chemistry is off the charts and the story is light and fluent. But the rest felt so rushed to me. Tycoon continues being my favorite of the series. Of course, I will continue checking out Katy's releases because I love her but this is not one of my favorites. Still, you should see for yourselves and if you enjoy reading about a Hollywood star falling for a romance author, check this one out!

Oh gosh I loved this one. So much!!!! Such a fun, sweet read. Becka & Noah meet in an airport. Sparks fly. Scavenger hunts, lost belongings and chemistry off the charts made this a hilarious and sexy read. I was smiling the whole time I read this one. A love story about stolen moments & taking a chance on more. Definitely recommend.

Fast pace book, insta-lust/love with a lot of good Karma in the mix!

The story is nice and sweet, but is so rushed... And Becka drama, drama, drama was annoying AF.

Noah in another hand was the star in this book!

“It’s never the place. It’s always the person.”

Katy Evans is a beast. Every single romance she writes manages to utterly leave me speechless. I am telling you, every thing she writes will always be flawless. I do not know how she writes amazing romances but whatever she does it, she needs to do it all the time. Her romances are certified platinum is my eyes. Her writing leaves me completely and insanely in love. Every book just radiates a special magic that stuns me deeply. Just like Muse. Man, this book is soooo good!!!!!!!I felt like I was on a cloud floating in the sky while reading Muse. I felt like I was on a field of daisies while inhaling a mouth watering romance. The ravishing storyline. The luscious characters. Muse was a perfect romance to make your day and night so special. I was struck deeply. Muse is definitely on one of my favourite Katy Evans book lists. The one I am going to remember forever.

Muse is the third standalone book in the Manhattan series. I adore this series so much. Every single book in the series has consistently dazzled me. But with Muse, I felt I was in a movie. With Muse, I found a book that sweetly and gently moved me. Soul-Rending. Heart Melting. Tantalizing. Muse is a sweet and seductive romance that renders your heart. A blazing and stunning beauty. An inviting and engaging read. A romance bleeding and radiating with heartfelt love. Muse made me believe in a simple love story. My heart swooned. My emotions were high. My soul crushed by a sensual story. Katy Evans writes with passion. Katy Evans writes with soul. Every romance you feel it. Every book makes you experience a life long journey. Muse is a stunning story of taking risks and chances. A story about every second counts. A story of holding on to love no matter how you meet. Muse absolutely left a heart string deep inside me.

Katy Evans always slays her characters, Her characters absolutely and wholeheartedly gives her books so much depth. Becka and Noah are everything. Seriously, this couple completely made me smile so hard. They gave me goosebumps. They gave me sweet notes to my soul. I was drunk on their chemistry. I was drunk on their wit and banter. I have been waiting forever for Becka's story. Katy Evans delivered. I adored Becka. I related to Becka. Her inner strength. Her sassiness. I just loved her. Holy smokes, Noah was every mouth watering dream to my reading pleasure. Ugh, can I have a piece of Noah, please?

I LOVED Muse!!!!!!!!!!!!Seriously, if you haven't read a Katy Evans, what are you waiting for. Read her books NOW!!!!!!

What was that ? Huh ? Seriously ? What. Was. That ?

What was that ? Huh ? Seriously ? What. Was. That ?

Ok, wow, I’m soo glad that’s over... I’m not gonna say I don’t write negative reviews because I do all the time,I don’t want to , I honestly don’t enjoy it but I’m very passionate about what I read ....
If I love it 😍, I want to shout it off the rooftops but if I hate it or am disappointed 😔 in it I want to do the same ,all the while growling and maybe snarling a little depending on how bad it is or effects me....
If it is just kinda so/so, if the experience of reading it leaves me kinda lukewarm with nothing really to say,I don’t ....
I just tap on the stars ⭐️ and walk away....
Now while as you can already see ,I soooooo Did. Not, DID NOT love this book it didn’t upset me like some have recently, only wasted time and hopefully money can or will be returned...

I came into to this excited, the bit I read on amazon sounded really fun and interesting and I couldn’t wait two see these to in action..... careful what you wish for .... right ?

Becka started off really fun for me but quickly started to annoy me with her back and forth yo-yo attitude with Noah...
From the very beginning it’s yes, No! Yes,yes, yes, more please, yessssss! then back to No,nonononono, again....
She started off kinda fun and funny and relatable to be honest, alone in one of the biggest cities on earth 🌏 leaving after coming to visit a friend, having the normal ups and downs and bad moments at times that make us all a little mental at times... but then along comes Noah in the middle of a panic attack ( she supposedly known for ) and nothing is the same again , and maybe once upon a time if Meg Ryan had been pushing Tom Hanks away in an airport highly attracted to him but scared to give in, this might have been fun...
But this wasn’t Tom and Meg,we weren’t in Seattle or trying to save her book store in NYC.... No, we have a heroine who starts off not wanting the H at first because he’s just too sexy, cocky (shame that couldn’t have been in the title just to teak someone, if you know what I mean) to handsome to be with her....plus our girl is rather paranoid and neurotic and her own way.... in short Becka doesn’t really have a clue what she wants to be honest and when she does decide it’s always right after she’s pushed Noah away yet again....
While it almost always seems slutty or just weird or wrong if a couple move from “Hi.” “How are you ?” To “Wanna have sex .”
I didn’t enjoy the running all over the airport , while Becka waffled back and forth on “Should I ?” Or Shouldn’t I ? “ where Noah is concerned.... Noah on the other hand, well the moment he sees her, she just seems to be it for him and right or wrong he’s willing to jump thru as many hoops as necessary to get what he wants.... which sadly is her...
Becka was sweet and flirty with him one minute and pushing him away and jumping to conclusions and calling him names the next ,only to walk away start to miss him and regret the next.... I felt Noah should have been suing her for whiplash not aching to have in a bathroom against a wall.....deep sigh..
Supposedly Becky’s entire existence revolves around writing and her laptop but she has a very narrow view of things and how they should be done and just made me wanna slap her..
Now while I guess being the deeply romantic person I am that two ppl could met and share what amounts to a weekend together and fall in love.... and for Noah and consistently consistent he was in his feelings for I can believe it but Becka ?
Becka who when it cane time to part didn’t want to stay in touch because it would me quote “ too weird “ something to that effect , that they’d just give radio silence til they met up again in six months ? A’ la’ “An Affair to remember “ then to turn around in the last few chapters ( about three one chapter was just 3 maybe 4 words) just did NOT make sense...
I don’t want to spoil it but let’s just say to go from the flip flopping, push-pull to riding off into the sunset ....
Just felt weird ....
Was that a HFN or a HEA ?
Felt like it was a Happy for Now that’s supposed to feel like a Happily ever after.....
I Loved Noah❣️ He was a sweet, kind, loving consistent man,who was deeply patient and who had just enough controlling Alphaness in the bedroom to men you beg for more ... only downside was how he let Becka lead him around by the balls....
I wish I hadn’t ... That’s all I can say...
The idea was romantic but the book was not..... well not with this heroine...

5 Stars!

Katy Evans absolutely slays every single fucking time she puts the pen to the paper. She creates beautiful, addicting, unforgettable, breathtaking worlds that leaves you with hearts in your eyes and love on the brain.

Muse is her latest standalone novel in the Manhattan series and it is not a book that can be missed... best that this series has delivered yet! Sweet. Sexy. Fun. Entertaining. Super captivating. All the feels. Katy packed some serious punches to the heart that left me breathless in moments but only in the best ways.

A missed flight. Inspiration....a muse needed. Two people meeting by chance at the exact moment they both needed it. Explosive chemistry. Raw passion. Undeniable connection. A love story that will have your heart pounding and leave a perma smile etched on your face... Noah and Becka were everything and their journey was perfect, even in the most imperfect times.

You can't miss this series and more specifically this book y'all. Smoldering... Intense... Two characters you won't wanna let go and a world you'll never want to see end.

I highly recommend this book y'all.

Muse is an absolutely adorable fast paced romance that will have you squirming with giddiness.

I adored this storyline, set mostly in airport this story is full of just cute moments. Rebecca is a writer and Noah is an actor both of them have missed their flight and end up spending hours together at the airport.

Noah was charming and even had me chuckling with his relentless pursuit of Rebecca. He just kept pushing her buttons and wouldn’t leave her alone but I loved that about him. Rebecca is just a hopeless romantic who wants to tell an epic love story but had hit the dreaded writers block.

This is a fast paced romance, it’s had some adorable moments and the ways these two pass the time until they can catch another flight. Well let’s just say it will have you freaking smiling.

I’m usually not one for the whirlwind romances but this was so freaking adorable and I could honestly picture it happening for real.

Sometimes you don’t need the fantasy over the top extravagant romances, sometimes the best ones take place in an airport missing your flight and bumping into the right person.

Muse was just that, simple, fun and playful in the cutest way.

This was a sweet story and a quick read. Katy Evans is one of my favorite authors and she surprised me with this cute and funny contemporary romance. I loved the witty, sexy and flirty banter, the emotional pull of two strangers afraid to put their hearts on the line. I loved the characters, their quirks and insecurities, their honesty. They really connect on an emotional level, not just physical. Their romance could be fleeting because it’s instant. Even though I’m not a huge fan of insta-love, I found that it was done well in this story. And I love when two very different characters, who are destined to be together, but don’t realize it yet, meet in an unusual setting, like being stuck at an airport.

The heroine, Becka, is a writer. She hoped that visiting New York would cure her from her writer’s block, but it didn’t work. She is an adorable character, with deep insecurities and suffering from panic attacks. There's something entirely sweet and innocent about her. She is on her way back home when she misses her flight and, to make matters worse, her laptop is stolen.

Noah Steele is an A-list movie star, trying to stay incognito. He is genuine and gentle. And of course, he is hot. He has spent a few days in New York, hoping his career would get a boost. He likes that Becka doesn’t recognize him, he can be himself with her.
Becka makes up romances, she doesn’t live them. Their supposedly short-lived relationship is an escape from the real world, they live in their own happy bubble. I enjoyed their time together and was really rooting for them. They have an undeniable connection, they are both incredibly endearing and just so darn likable.

While neither of these two are looking for a relationship, they can’t deny the strong attraction between them and what starts eventually as a fling quickly becomes so much more for both of them.

Overall, Muse is a delightful read, ideal for all those days you need just a little emotional boost to carry on with your normal routine. Books in the Manhattan series are intertwined, but Muse can be read as a standalone.

My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book.

I enjoy Katy Evans stories, however this is the first that I have listened too, not read.

I enjoyed the story - though I want to know, how come when I was Terminaled in O'Hare last year for hooourrs no hot movie star came to sit with me?

I enjoyed the banter between Noah and Rebecca, and slowly feel in love right along with them.

These are both new narrators to my hears, and whilst for the most part I did enjoy them and their telling of the story, there was just one thing that irked me. When Ms Ezza was narrating as Noah, she sounds like Jane from Daria, and at times it made it hard for me to stay with her.

Other than that, an enjoyable story

Muse was a quick and delicious story by Katy Evans. It was sweet and sexy and had terrific banter. I loved Becka and Noah and could not get enough of their connection.

I found this story to be funny, romantic and basically a story of fate and chance meetings. I thought Noah was sexy and alpha but had a sweetness to him so unlike a lot of heroes we see nowadays. Likewise Becka was sassy and blunt and a total delight. I loved their fiery chemistry and banter and their sexytimes was hot af!

I enjoyed this story immensely and can't wait for more from this author! Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

Lawdy, Muse! What a fun, quick, and dirty read!

I had such fun with Becka and Noah and their airport antics! Their banter was witty, fun, sexy, and so damn perfect! Their chemistry was off the charts! And the craziness they found themselves in while on that long as hell layover were laugh out loud funny!

The romance between Becka and Noah was fast and furious, but their insta-connection didn’t seem rushed or seemingly out of character. I adored them both and couldn’t read the pages fast enough to ensure they got their happily ever after! ~ Missy, 4 stars

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was awesome. It’s a fun, flirty sexy story of two strangers meeting at an airport and being stuck together while waiting for their flight. Katy Evans made you want to read this book in one sitting. I loved the setting of the book and it made it that much more interesting with them being stuck in an airport. I couldn’t get enough of the banter between Becka and Noah. They feed off of one another’s energy and pushed the other until they got down to what was making them do what they were doing. This is definitely a must read, especially if you are a fan of Katy Evans!

Becka is heading back home after being in New York to help her friend. She has finally made head way on her book but once agin has come to a halt with what to write next. But when she loses her laptop and all her work at the airport she wonders what she will do next.

Noah notices a woman about to lose it at the gate and decides to help her. What he isn’t expecting is to be captivated by her. He decides that he needs to spend time with her and will miss his flight doing so. And as he gets to know Becka he can’t help his attraction, but will he be able to convince her to give him a chance? And once she finds out who he is?

As there adventure continues at the airport, Becka and Noah will have to face their personal dilemmas. And when they finally come to terms with their choices will they be able to give one another a true chance?

Muse by Katy Evans is a great addition to the Manhattan series. Totally a standalone but still part of that world, Muse is a funny, sexy, fast paced story. Becka and Noah are perfect together!

I’m not a fan of insta-love but I do get insta-lust. I mean we’ve all experienced it. I love the book premise. Imagine catching someone’s eye across a crowded room, feeling a connection, attraction and acting on it. Noah and Becka meet in JFK, after missing their flights. Sparks fly. They feel something and take a chance. I love the spontaneity of it.

Katy Evans knows just how to write a hot alpha male. Noah is delicious. He is confident, arrogant, a bit of a jerk but he has another side. And Becka is a sassy, smart, talented beauty. Their banter is snarky, witty and sexy. Together they compliment each other.

Reality kicks in and obstacles get in the way, but the drama just adds to the story. Kept me turning pages to the end.

Fans of Katy Evans will not be disappointed.

YES YES YES!! This book was awesome! It was a nice quick read with absolutely 0 drama or angst. I loved every part of it (aside from the (gag) curls). This was pretty instalove-ish but also not really because of the connection they had. It was beautiful. I will definitely reread this and it is not something I do very often.

Overall - 4.5/5
Becca - 5/5
Noah - 5/5

“It’s never the place. It’s always the person.”

Oh my... You must know by now how I love Katy Evans and her writing. I can't help it, I just love her. Muse is a bit different from what she's written, in the way that the story takes place in a very short amount of time. With that being said, I was pulled into the story right from the start. It is sexy, sweet, fast paced and filled with loads and loads of feels.

Rebecca Stone is a 25 year old beautiful woman from Texas. She was in New York to visit her best friend Bryn (seen in Tycoon), but is now on her way home. She is lovely, quirky, shy and a hopeless romantic with a sassy attitude. I love her so much. Becka is also an author who was desperately hoping to finish her romance novel. Unfortunately, she is heading back home and is still suffering from writer's block. Things get out of control when she loses her laptop and misses her flight. Fortunately for her she ends up meeting one sexy, sexy man.

“The man is made of sex. I could write pages just on the way he looks.””

Noah Steele is a movie star from Hollywood. He is hot, sexy, charming and has a huge ego. This man literally stole my heart. Oh how I fucking love him. He needs a change in his life. That's why he wants to launch his career in New York, but things don't go as planned. Noah misses his flight to Dallas after a failed audition and meets the gorgeous Becka. He is intrigued by her and wants to get to know her.

Noah and Becka start to learn more about each other and the attraction becomes more and more palpable. I love how Noah won't leave her alone and keeps pushing her buttons. She is deeply, deeply affected by him. Something is happening between them. They can no longer deny and resist their irresistible, immediate, sizzling connection.

“I think of the way he smells. The way he kisses. The way he touches me. I can't think of a single damn thing that isn't about him.”

Muse is a fast paced, adorable, sexy romance. It is filled with emotional, passionate moments that will make your heart beat faster. Noah and Becka 's raw, undeniable chemistry will have you swooning and smiling.
Overall, I highly, highly recommend this book, and this series.

“I need her. I need to be with this woman in a way I've never needed anything.”

Recommendation appeared on USA Today’s Happy Ever After on August 28, 2018.

Muse is a charming, drop-dead-sexy and thoroughly entertaining romance that might tempt you to purposely miss your next flight. Becka and Noah were having particularly bad days even before they missed their flight, and now they’re stuck in the airport for 16 hours, waiting for their next opportunity to get home. Attraction crackles between these two strangers from the moment they lock eyes at the gate, and they are instantly drawn to each other. As they spend the night talking, flirting, making steamy bets and creating an ingenious scavenger hunt, they make an airport feel like the most romantic place to be. Just as they solidify their connection, their new flight is boarding, and they have to say goodbye and return to their very different lives. If you’re looking for a lighthearted, sensual and sigh-worthy love story that will make you see travel mishaps in a whole new light, don’t miss Katy Evans’ Muse.

I absolutely devoured this book in one go. Katy Evans always surprises me with her infinite talent in creating stories that are thoroughly entertaining and never disappointing. Muse is not a fast paced story but its flow is perfect for a love story without all the drama of some love stories. It’s just two people colliding in each other’s lives when their own lives are not running as expected.

The characters Noah and Becka have an instantaneous attraction to another. Noah is a sexy actor with a cocky mouth however even though his good looks are what attracts Becka from the get-go, it’s definitely not what defines him. You see Noah is not taken seriously as an actor and beautiful, shy Becka has set out to change her scenery, as she is a writer who is looking for inspiration to write a love story.

This book definitely keeps you enthralled right through. With beautiful scenery set in New York and obstacles been thrown at the couple to keep your heart racing at a steady pace, this book is a must read.
