Mr. Impossible: Book 1

Rate this book
He was supposed to be there for just a day, but the trip turned out to be much more. Thad’s simple mission to escort the daughter of a famed mobster to testify against her family in exchange for protection has become a nightmare. Cassidy McGrath was not an easy woman to handle. She was stubborn as heck and was not the type to take orders, even when her life depended on it. It didn’t help that someone on the inside was compromising the mission. To Cassidy, Thad was an impossible man. He gave orders like he was God, and she just couldn’t tolerate it. But danger was looming, and her ruthless brother wanted her dead. She had to give in to Thad in so many ways to keep alive. Thad had one choice only – get her to safety alone, secretly, and by himself. Being that close to a woman like her was more tempting than he cared to admit. Messing with her between the sheets was not part of the job. And trying to get her to safety was going to be a little more than bargained, but, for her, he would risk it all, even his own life. Mr. Impossible is a full-length romance novel. This is the first of a three-book series.

Excellent speed chase and romance across the USA
First part of the history of Marshall Thad Dillon and the witness he has to transport, Cassidy Mc Grath. I both liked the characters and the story full of twists. It's very well written and the action never slows down from beginning to end. It's just a shame to have a cliffhanger.
The first scenes and dialogues, are very tense both That and Cassidy hate each other: she's unbearable, rather bitchy both in her behavior and in her clothing and he, tight in his costume and his spirit of respect for the rules. Situations evolve so fast, that they understand quickly that if they want to survive the attacks of Cassidy's brother (against who she has to testify) they will have to trust themselves, and that they can only count on themselves.

I received an advance reader copy and have voluntarily reviewed this book. A fast-paced novel, I wasn’t expecting what I got. Although I found the action kept me on my toes I didn’t really vibe with the characters until close to the very end, at which point the story ended! I found that the most frustrating part of all but when I noticed book 2&3 were available I knew I’d read them too!

This book is action packed and will keep you on your toes. These two fight like cats and dogs, and she’s a spoilt brat, but when they hit their meltdown, it’s sizzling! I cannot wait to see what happens next. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is an OK book. Thad starts out by making a major mistake by not following protocol but does his best to make up for it after that and keep Cassie alive at all costs. Cassie was harder to like as she has been spoiled her whole life.
