Liya and Wren have both run away from their pasts, but a chance meeting forces them to trust each other and face the darkness that threatens their lives and their love.

There are more than a few reasons why Wren Wylde keeps his distance from other people, and even though his life has been lonely, he prefers it that way. It’s the way it’s been for a long time, which is why he settled in Bigfork, Montana, away from the scourge of his past.

When he meets Liya Channing and her daughter, Illa, all that changes, or at least he hopes that it will. Liya opens a part of him that is equally liberating and terrifying. All the promises he made to himself to never allow anybody to get too close are shattered.

But Liya carries her own secrets, and the reason why she chose Bigfork soon comes to light. Both Wren and Liya’s pasts come hurling toward them with lightning speed, but will they have the courage to stand up and face their challenges head on?

Will the hunted now become the hunters, or will they fall into the same trap as those did before them?

If you love alpha romances, werewolves, bad boys, and paranormal shifters who know how to take charge, then you will love Wolf’s Baby!

Content Warning: Explicit love scenes and lots of sexy shifters. No cheating and no cliffhangers. Intended for 18+ audiences.

This is the story of Wren and Liya. Wren is the well respected alpha of his pack, and Liya is on the run from an abusive boyfriend. But once she runs into him (quite literally), she knew immediately that they were meant to be together. This is book three in this great series and I think I'm gonna go pick up the other two now.

5 stars!

1. Wasn’t a big fan of how soooo fast the progress of events went. She met him one day, called him and asked to move in the next, said she really wasn’t ready for anything serious and literally the same minutes she jumped on him and ripped his clothes off!
2. The Alpha wasn’t much of an alpha. He was actually kinda weak with his beta sounding stronger and the other bad guy who is not an alpha also stronger beating the H easily and nearly killing him.
3. How big is the pack really? There was only the beta, 4 brothers and 2 more people.
4. The bad guy broke into the h while the H was there and told him that he is there to pick up his daughter whether he like it or not, the H didn’t do anything didn’t threaten him didn’t stop him from leaving didn’t even seem to want to pick up a fight to defend him breaking into the pack territory and threatening his so-called meat and daughter. Really? Alpha?
5. And hey, you go after a bad guy just you in a BMW and a woman Who is obviously not strong enough to fight or even defend herself let alone pick a fight with a very strong Wolf who had been repeatedly abused her over four years of the relationship and she never did anything about it.

Another brother from Silver Bay faces his demons. Liya is running from her abusive boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Illa. She burns his house down then leaves hoping to get as far as possible. Her ex, Hunter, is just that an expert hunter in the Crescent pack. Liya finds herself in Bigfork Montana and meets the alpha, Wren Wylde, in a most unusual way....she crashes into his car. They imprint on each other but each ignores it for Liya it;s because she;s running and for Wren, mainly he doesn't feel he deserves it. Then he meets Illa and his heart melts and he is drawn not only to her mother but to the little girl too. Then Hunter finds them and Wren has a fight on his hands.
This story will grab your attention and hold you in not only with the physical action but the emotional action too. Fantastic story and read!

Another fantastic story by Lola Gabriel I’m becoming a big fan of her books and this is Liya’s and Wren’s story. I loved this story the both of them have pasts and Wren isn’t interested in finding a mate he prefers to be alone until he meets Liya and her daughter Illa and they begin to tear down his walls. Liya has moved to Bigfork Montana to start a new life but mostly to get away from her abusive ex boyfriend, she meets her mate when she runs into the back of his car but it’s too soon to have a mate especially after just escaping from her horrible ex. This is a great paranormal shifter romance but that’s all I’m going to give you guys so read Lola’s blurb and that will give you the gist to this story. A fantastic read a 5 plus ⭐️ story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I will begin this with a warning that this story does contain domestic violence scenes. So those who are uncomfortable with those kinds of scenes might be aware.
The beginning of this book is kinda sad as we see how Wren and his brothers come to be who they are. This story is centered around Wren and Liya. Wren has become a loner and keeps people at arms length. Though he is an alpha, he keeps himself separate from his pack. That is until he meets Liya and her daughter, the adorable baby Illa.
Liya has her own secrets and painful background. The story is mostly about what happens when their pasts catch up with them.
It does have several secondary characters that I enjoyed and hope that after the all the brothers' stories have been told, the author focuses on them.

Shifter Liya and her baby Illa find sanctuary with Wren's pack but they are still threatened by Hunter and the Crescents Pack.
Shifter Liya is sick of the violence her boyfriend Hunter inflicts on her and is fearful of it spilling over on to her baby daughter Illa that she decides to leave but before she does she sets Hunter's house on fire. In Bigfork, Montana she meets local Alpha Wren Wilde and they imprint but she knows Hunter will be looking for her. Wren is enchanted by the two new ladies in his life but knows that with her boyfriend and his pack that thing are going to get dangerous and he must protect his ladies. A shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

HEARTWRENCHING!!!!
OMG ! This story of Wren and Liya is amazing, the pasts that they try to run from broke my heart as they tried so hard to make new lives for themselves. I was rooting for them all the way through the story, telling Wren to go for it to win Liya over, and telling Liya not to let her past affect her future, LOL they did not listen to me !! lol
These characters are so affected by their pasts that you can not help but want to get them to find happiness. But when their pasts catch up with them...…… will they meet it head on to defeat it or will they fall at the most important time in their lives ???
Will they get their HEAs ???
GRAB the book because I will not spoil the book for you !!

Wolf’s Baby is probably, to date, my favorite book in this series, I absolutely love Wren. When Liya runs into him, he knows that she’s the one. When he sees the little girl, she has with her he falls for the little angel as well. Liya is running with her daughter from a messy and violent ex- relationship the last thing she was looking for was a man to imprint on. When she thought she was far enough away from the nightmare she had been living in previously, she rear-ends a BMW, that she really can’t afford to fix. The Man who climbs out of the BMW changes her entire life. This book was a great read, and I loved getting some more clues to the mysteries surrounding the Wylde family. I am rooting for a Wylde family reunion.

Liya runs away from an abusive mate to save her daughter more than to save herself. She just wants to hide and did not expect to find her fated mate while on the run. Said fated mate also is fighting his demons and memories from the past. For both trust does not come easy, but they find friends who stay by their side and help when the past catches up.
The story is not unique, but told in a way that it seems fresh, and at times it becomes difficult to put the book down, as one is hooked to the development of the story.

Wolf's Baby (Code of the Alpha) by Lola Gabriel is a New Adult, Paranormal, Shifter Romance. Wren Wylde keeps his distance from other people, and even though his life was lonely, he prefers it that way. When he meets Liya Channing and her daughter, Illa, all that changes.
A chance meeting forces Liya and Wren to trust each other and face the darkness that threatens their lives and their love. This was a fast-paced, sexy well-written read with a good storyline and characters that I really enjoyed. Lola Gabriel is a new author to me and I look forward to reading more of her b

Wren never thought he would want a family, but he knows he will do anything and everything to protect and keep Liya. He will give her the time she needs but he will keep her safe.

Can he let go of the past? Can the past let go of him?
I loved this book, we find out what has happened to little Wren. I adored the way that the big strong Alpha is totally knocked off his paws by a little bitty one year old...Wren doesn't just imprint on Liya but he has taken little Illa into his heart.
I love it when a big strong man can show his gentler side....Wren just has to find it first!
This is another great pnr love story about the Wylde brothers and I for one cannot wait to find out what happens to the ones that we have yet to meet.

It’s now time for Wren’s story. Of the five brothers he is the one with the special ability of sense of smell. And he will need it a few times in the book. Liya is still young in shifter years but is around 400 years from what I could tell. She is a loving woman with a beautiful daughter. But to protect them she needs to leave an abusive boyfriend and father of her daughter. Well fate had a way of making sure the right two people meet. And from there a new life for her and her daughter. Lots of action and some romance.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Title: The Wolf’s Baby Author: Lola Gabriel
Format: ebook
Genre: Paranormal romance, shifter (wolf), suspense
Standalone: yes
Park of a Series: Book 3 of Code of the Alpha
POV: Liya, Wren
Steam Level: warm
4/5

The Wolf’s Baby is the third book in the Code of the Alpha Series. Liya flees from her abusiva boyfriend into Wren’s territory. I’m interested to see how this series ends as it seems to be building up into quite the climax. While overall these books are okay I think the series as a whole could be epic. We’ll see how this plays our.

Fast-paced paranormal read

A great paranormal romance. Fast paced plot and story. I read it in one sitting. I would want more for both the H and h - romance and character build-up. Its also great that there are back stories mentioned that gave more depth to it. Some suspense and action here and there. Not so into spoilers, so I would recommend that to enjoy the story - read it !

This is book three in series and I can hardly wait for book four. Lola Gabriel really knows how to tell a fantastic story. This is Wren and Liya's story. Liya is on the run from her abusive boyfriend. Wren is alpha of his pack. As soon as she literally runs into him they know they are imprinted. This book is past and present being brought together to form a future together. Recommend this book

It's been a while since I read of shifters and their mates, so this book was refreshing. The trouble that Wren's family experienced was truly horrific, enough to tear a family apart. Liya and Illa had to leave, or someone was going to die. All too human emotions for shape shifters. As the story spirals, you can feel the love that Liya and Wren share as they face the challenges together. Lovely story, Lori! Well done!

I loved Liya and Wren's story. They both have bad pasts but when they meet its an instantaneous connection between them. When their pasts come back to haunt them will their love be strong enough to save them from their pasts, so they can move forwards with the rest of their lives .

Great continuation from the last 2 books. The author does a great job drawing you into the story and keeping you enthralled. I read the book in 1 day because I couldn't put it down. Liya and Wren are so made together. And the author does a great job answering a few questions from the previous books. Can't wait to read about the next brother from the Wylde family.

don’t let the past get you

The Wolf’s Baby is book three in the series Code of the Alpha by author Lola Gabriel. Ok so before I tell you how incredible good this one was -;) I just want to say- it’s all starting to make sense. The Crescent’s have an agenda and knowing how awful they are it’s not good.
Ok so back to the review- this one is all about healing and taking back what’s yours. The characters both the MF & the MM are hurt and a little broken. But not for long.
Enjoy!!

Sweet paranormal romance. Characters were likeable with just enough flaws.

I know that prologue tells the a good part of the background story, however it is bit excessive to have the same identical prologue word for word in each of the books so far.

This is a well written fast paced shifter romance between Liya and Wren. As Liya is running from her abusive mate she literally runs into Wren , her fated mate. It's a bumpy road with drama, suspense and action. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading it.

The third book in the series is about Wren and his pack and what happens when he meets Liya who has run away from her abusive boyfriend. The baby, Illa, is a true charmer and all the guys fall for her. This is every bit as good as the first two.
