This is the first of a few Mercenary Heat Novellas that will be part of the series. The storyline runs concurrently with events in Tempting Marcus.

Don't be fooled into thinking this a novella because it's a half (in between) book in the series..
It runs concurrent to Tempting Marcus and is another great book from Jan!
I can't wait to read the next one!

from rich girl living in luxury to now working in a mini mart, hiding who she is and changing her name to get as far away from her father's legacy, she gets targeted as a girl to be kidnapped and sold.
Suddenly she finds herself kidnapped and locked in a house with Clay. A man claiming he is trying to keep her safe from sex traffickers. With her past luck of terrible men in her life, can she trust him? Even more can she trust herself and her attraction to him?
Clay is just as attracted to her and is falling for her fast and hard.
But Clay holds a secret. They are not alone in the house. The man she thinks is just the chef is her father. A man who is supposed to be dead and buried.
How can Clay break that news to her and get over the hurdle of lies told in order to keep her safe to the relationship he wants to have with her?
