The hunt continues... but now the entire world is after them. The enemy--the new world order--morphed into something even worse than the evil, torturous, demon-possessed, satanic minions they were. And now they rule the world. It seems as if nothing can stop them in their quest to completely annihilate anyone who stands in their way... which means Christians. As if the fires, choking smoke, perpetual darkness and unholy heat weren't enough, billions have died, including large numbers of believers. Those left behind struggle to reach Israel, birthplace of the Lord. He told them to go and it's going to have to be up to Him to get them there. And to keep them alive until His purpose has been fulfilled. They pray for that day to come quickly... because the earth is going to Hell.If you like apocalyptic end times survival fiction, you'll love The End Series. All books are Christian based. Due to content, this series is not recommended for children under 13.
I enjoyed reading this series. It was a little off Biblically, but it is fiction; so the writter can write the story however she feels lead. It is fiction, not non-fiction. All of us believers have a good view of what God is going to do in the futue. I liked all the characters, except Ben. I still do not understand how he could take the direction that he did. It just goes to show what Satan can do if we let him. About the ones that had the mark, I don't know if they could be changed eventhough they were possessed by demons. I would recommend this to adults.`
Very disappointing series. Not only did I disagree with her theology, I thought the entire series was irreverent in calling God "dad." This will never become a classic. There were just too many times that she used phrases that just wouldn't be understood in a later time period like "rolling the eyes" or "snorting." However, she did tell a good story that kept me interested. It just lacked something and was disappointing in the end.
I loved this book. I loved how real the author made the end of days seem. I really liked how the characters and their faith developed naturally even when they were standing with Angel's and being spoken to audibly by God. They were so REAL.
I truly enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read the next series! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone 16ish or older. While this is totally clean, I don't believe the content is appropriate for younger teens.
1. The False Prophet was left out 2. The timeline of events/plagues was all out of whack 3. The Mark will not be instituted until halfway through the Tribulation when the Beast is indwelt by Satan 4. God will not forgive those who take the mark. 5. The ending was truncated and inaccurate.
A great story. Almost follows a portion of what the end times will be like. It does go against what the Bible says about taking the mark. Scripture is clear, if you receive the mark, you are eternally damned. This book has a few characters that have the mark, but get saved anyway. Just remember, it’s just a story.
V J Dunn has written an exceptional series expressing a realistic view of what it might be like during the end times. Very close biblical guidelines appear to have been followed. With a bit of modern, non Christian views thrown in to explain Satan's role.
Just finished the final book in the series. I have praised and prayed and rejoiced and cried. This book has made me want to dig into the word more again. It has made me want to pray for my last loved ones and friends. Thank you for writing it. I would highly recommend it.
I don't agree with some of the things in this book, like calling God, Daddy and much more, but really the ending just drew me more and more to the hope of the rapture. The Lord Jesus Christ is our light in the darkness and I'm so thankful He loves me.
Really fun series. Again the only issue I had was during prayer when they would call God dad or daddy. That still gave me an ick feeling. Other than that I enjoyed it.
