Hearing my sexy porn star neighbor wanted to hire me to be his fluffer was laughable. Until the day he offered me more than I made in a year. How difficult could it be? Stroke a man, get him hard, walk away, and cash my check.
Except it wasn’t as easy as that. Not only did I need to be on set, but I had to watch him... in action. Watch as he made love to his costar while the cameras rolled. Little did he know my lady parts furled with pent-up desire.
He unleashed a side of me I didn’t know existed. A side that made me do things I never thought I would. A side that had me wondering how I could be falling for a porn star.
Fluffer is a great read. It's a quick read. The blurb had me wanting to read this one. Molly and Trent are neighbors. He's a porn star who's real dream is to be an actor. Molly is the girl next door. There are opposites. Trent needs help with getting hard for his latest film. Molly is one who he wants to help him. She's not into the porn scene. There is a connection between Molly and Trent. She doesn't jump at the chance to be his fluffer but she does come around and agree to do it. I liked Molly. She's standoffish at first. Trent is a great guy. He's sweet and nice to Molly. Molly has some major hang ups with Trent because of his job. There's a lot of back and forth with these two. If your looking for quick steamy read, then you should pick this one up.
This book was freakin awesome! I loved the characters and the story so much. First time reading Shae and she has most definitely moved into the must read author spot for me. Great tension and angst. Hot but not outrageously over the top. Perfection! Cant wait for more from her!!!!!
I had high hopes, but for me the writing just didn't make me feel Molly's pain. I resorted to skimming, but I'm going to rate bc I did skim every page, lol. Porn plots aren't a fave, but Lingus by M. Zappata is and I guess I was hoping for that kind of feel.
Trent and Molly are neighbors. Trent, has been attracted to Molly since he saw her, and Molly has been put-off by Trent since finding out he's a porn star. Trent starts a new job with an actress he's not attracted to, and therefore cannot get hard. So, he figures this is where Molly can come up. He offers her an obscene sum of money to just stand on set and look pretty so he can get it up, and get it done. ;)
I was on vacation when I read this book, so it took me a few days to finish it. It's one of those hot, steamy reads you want to finish in one sitting to get the full effect. I had a hard time connecting to the characters at first, but towards the end I was hurting when they hurt. 💔 I'm going to read it again all in one go, to see if that helps me build the connections from there start! Well done!
I received this book in exchange for my honesty opinion.
Sexy, hot, funny, feisty, sweet and romantic. Trent is one of the most famous and talented porn stars. When his difficult costar has him in need of a fluffer...who better than his frosty neighbor Molly. She never fails to make him hard as steel just from the sight of her. These two are oil and water but all of that arguing leads to sparks that burn like an inferno when Molly lets her body take charge. Wow...those were some steamy scenes. And I just loved Trent when he was one on one with Molly. His sweetness just shined right on through. Molly had a lot of hang ups that really grated on me at first. But I could see her viewpoint by the end. I definitely loved the story idea and found it a fast, entertaining read.
Hottest sex scenes (which I guess you would expect), creative story line that keep the pages turning. To be honest, I wasn't sure I would enjoy a story based on the sex industry and porn but I loved this story! The turmoil Molly had over Trent and his career is totally relatable and I loved the HEA!

If you like the description, you don’t need to read any further: buy the book, you will not be disappointed!
FLUFFER is a novella of around 100 pages, a quick read, and just the right length. What surprised me the most was the complexity of both Trent Hudson and Millie Higgins, and the growth they experience. I was growing tired of Trent’s smirks and his chuckles, his arrogance, then it stopped. The reason became evident, and I applaud Shae York for her brilliant and subtle way of making the relationship between Trent and Millie evolve.
I loved that both Trent and Millie reacted realistically to their unusual partnership; the conflict was there from the beginning, and the author handled it splendidly. I also liked that the adult film industry was depicted realistically – and yes, for those who are wondering: fluffers are a real thing. The writing is solid, apart from a few minor editing issues and occasional odd phrasing, but there was very little, and those trifles did not pull me out of the story at all. The dialogues are excellent and witty, and both Trent and Millie came across as real people, multifaceted and thoroughly fleshed out. I also loved Tommy – Millie’s gay roommate and friend. I was invested in the story from the start, it only got better as it progressed, and the short epilogue was perfect! FLUFFER is a sizzling romance that did not insult my intelligence and with much more depth than I ever expected. I am eagerly looking forward to Shae York’s future endeavours. A most pleasant surprise!
This book was amazing. The chemistry between Trent and Molly was off-the-charts. The plot was good and Ms York's writing style was spectacular. Definitely looking forward to read more of her books.
Trent and Molly are neighbors. Trent is a porn star but is having trouble performing on set. He has no problem when he sees Molly passing by at their apartments. Molly is prudish but still finds Trent attractive just not his job. This was a story full of humor, wit and steamy sex scenes. A wonderful read.

I loved this book. It was so good I couldn't put it down. Lots of steamy scenes with HEA. Amazing❤❤❤ I can guarantee you'll love Trent. A five star read.
This book absolutely impressed me. After reading the blurb it sounded like a fun read. I never imagined I'd fall in love with the characters. I completely adore Trent. He's definitely swoon-worthy. There's also a message in this story, to never judge a book by its cover. Something Molly was doing to Trent in the very beginning. The more time they spend together Molly starts to see the softer romantic side of Trent. They have amazing chemistry together. The sex scenes between Molly and Trent are steamy but not overly raunchy. The author did an amazing job with this book and I'm looking forward to future books by Shae York. I highly recommend this to everyone.
Cute story. As a friend described it: "fun and frivolous". Trent is a porn star, but he never intended to be. He wanted to be a mainstream actor, but fell into porn as a way to make money and then didn't try too hard to get out of it. Molly is his straight-laced neighbor, and for some reason, she just does it for him. He's having trouble "performing" on his current movie, and he notices that he has no trouble in that area when Molly is around, so he propositions her to be his fluffer. At first, Molly resists, but Trent (and Molly's roommate) end up softening her to the idea. And once Molly is around Trent more and more, her defenses melt and things are looking really good for them. Until Molly can't get over his profession. Trent realizes Molly is it for him, so he pushes really hard to get mainstream acting jobs. That ended up being a really good thing both for him and for his relationship with Molly. Very sweet.
This is a cute plot about a porn star and his neighbor. He has admired his neighbor for some time -- as in, lusted for her. After they finally exchange a few words, he finds himself in a pickle at work. It seems he can't get aroused by his snotty costar. He enlists his neighbor to help him with the problem. He'll pay her a lot of money just to hang out on the set, maybe make out with him a little to keep a certain part of him "interested." This position in the business is called a "fluffer." Although most of the plot is predictable, it's still a fun and frivolous read that will give you some chuckles. Caution to readers offended by sexy stuff: This one is hotsy-totsy.
This popped up as a recommended read and I figured I’d try it and I wasn’t disappointed. Now in real life, this would have to be the absolute most difficult situation and it would be a gigantic no for me but it’s fun to read fiction, have fun with it and see what could actually happen. It was interesting, held my attention completely and had some really scorching hot scenes all wrapped up with a nice HEA. Kudos to the author for thinking outside the box, having fun and allowing us to partake as well.
I can’t deny I got the book because of the title, but I loved it, Trent is a porn star, and Molly his neighbor, when Trent gets casted and has a little issue performing he finds himself in need of a fluffer. It was a one sit read, but it got all the pointers for a short book, hotness, book boyfriend material and a female character with all good pointers. I recommend this book.
To say when I saw this plot I was intrigued but that was about it. The full fluffer/porn actor story had some interesting smutty streamy moments but nothing more. Substance was lost and the drama felt forced. It wasn't... bad per say. It just wasn't memorable. You forgot it pretty fast after reading the next page.
I read “Rubbed Out” by this author first. She writes smut-tastic little numbers with unbelievable HEAs...but who the fuck cares.
I really surprised by the last 20-25% and it raised it a star. So few books with pornstars and escorts ever really deal with the reality of what their profession is and how it can harm partners. This one wasn’t stellar, but it did face that reality.
The best thing about this book was how short it was, and I mean that in the best possible way. I just fancied reading a bit of fluff (pun intended) and for a change I didn't feel the need to skip lots of it. So many erotic romances read like a technical manual with sex scenes stretching over so many pages it becomes boring.
A highly entertaining fluff/hot/vacation read. Do not read if you are easily offended by graphic sex scenes or foul language. Very fast read for a quick weekend get away or plane ride. Not deep character or story development, but decent enough I would read the author again.
