Altho Ms. Dye is a very colorful writer, she is extremely short on facts in this book. I was greatly looking forward to this book but am hugely disappointed in it. While it covers a fine time period, it has way too much fiction and way too many errors to be considered nonfiction. As a Charbonneau myself, I am very aware of the history of Toussaint, Sacagawea and Jean Baptiste and the Lewis and Clark expedition. I do not recommend this book to anyone looking for historical facts.
