Amerie is exactly what people think accountants should be; straight-laced, boring and good at math. If it wasn't for her crushing debt, she'd be an utter cliché.
After a brutal breakup with her longtime boyfriend, she decides to shake things up. In the spirit of new adventures, she allows her best friend to talk her into taking part in the beta test of Sexperience’s new dating service pairing participants based on sexual compatibility.
The experiment is only supposed to help Amerie get out of her comfort zone and earn some extra money, but when she finds out she's been paired with a man she despises, things get infinitely more complicated.
Hate to love story full of sexual tension between Mufasa and Amerie. After a breakup, Amerie just went on a super hot adventure with Mufasa and the thing is that they can't stand each other at the beginning. The book kept me glued to the story and turning each page. I was so excited about how the story was going to unfold and if the main characters were going to be able to have their HEA facing all the adversities in front of both of them. Karma Kingsley didn't disappoint with this wonderful story. If you want to read a fun, cute and sexy story give this book and author a chance! 💜

In this book we meet Amerie Smith and Mufasa Bendewa. Both Amerie and Mufasa sign up to be part of a study to find out if science can help match you with your soul mate. Neither of them is looking for true love both of them for different reasons. When this book opens we find that Amerie's boyfriend of four years has come back from college to tell her that he thinks they need to take a break to be able to see other people. Does he tell her this right away no he waits until after they have has sex. Mufasa isn't looking for a long time relationship he is just looking for a good time. He wants to pursue his music not have the typical life style of 2.5 kids and a white picket fence. The first time these two meet there is an instant attraction that goes off the rails quick. The second time not so much better. So when they have found they have been paired for the study. They are willing to suck it up for the money. Will they find out though that they really did find their soul mate or will it all be a failed experiment?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. The title may seem like it is all sex but this book is so much more than that, oh but there is plenty of that too. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
This book was so unexpected, it has an absolutely unique storyline and I loved it. Amerie just had her perfectly planned life thrown into chaos. She's not sure where to go from there and her roommate suggests a study from her work, a sort of sexperiment. Amerie is not sure she is up for something like that until she hears that she'll be paid a large sum of money if she does the study. The person she gets paired with, Mufasa, is the last person she wants to do the sexperiment with, but she doesn't have a choice. Grab this exciting, sexy book today to find out what exactly this sexperiment is all about. My only complaint is I feel like I was left hanging in the end. Like the story just isn't completely finished, otherwise this is a great read and I highly recommend it.

Bloody loved this!! This needs to be a real thing, in Canada and me signed up! Could not put this down I was so sucked in I’ve been fighting sleep because I HAD to finish it! That being said this better be a series cuz I need more answers!
Hate to love or “enemies to lovers” ✔️ A sexy story with chemistry✔️ This story was fun and sexy, I enjoyed it. Hate to love books always have that fire and ice passion in them. They’re always so entertaining to watch people put all that hate into passion. Mufasa and Amerie were hilarious together. (Still can’t get over Mufasa name) Mufasa was the cocky, who can get any girl he wants basically and he was arrogant. I had to keep putting this book down a lot, unfortunately it was a complete page turner for me but I did enjoy the characters a lot. 3 1/2 ⭐️

Sexperiment By: Karma Kingsley It's "Sexperiment" For Two... Until They Finally Admit I LOVE You! It's gonna be One H€LLUV@ "Sexperiment" when these TWO team up! I was granted, via B00|{$P®0UT, an ARC of Karma Kingsley's "Sexperiment." I recommend this book to others based upon its own recommendations. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given! Until next time... Happy Reading!
This was quite the journey for the main character in the story. Each chapter of this book brought out shifting emotions - for the characters and for me as I read them. The author expressed A's heartbreak so well through some very descriptive prose, it felt real. The initial meetings with Fas were humorous and unbelievable yet effective towards setting the future scenes in the book. The emotional roller coaster her life and their relationship went on in the book was realistic was well, though I'm not sure that we'd be lucky enough to experience their experiment. Well written with great characters, I enjoyed reading this book and I happily recommend it. I'm hoping Jordan's story will be next.
This was a pretty good story. The characters took a little bit to get into, but enemies to lovers is definitely a favorite trope of mine. The whole experiment was a bit confusing, but I did love Ice and Fas as soon as they realized that they belonged together. I was a little confused at the ending and wish there was a little more or another epilogue. Do they get married? Was he happy about the pregnancy? It was cut off a little abruptly and I needed more!
Karma Kingsley certainly does write one of a kind books, and this one is no different! This book is the perfect example of what happens when opposites attract. It's messy, and hot, and a lot of ups and downs.
Amerie Smith and Mufasa Bendewa, both sign up to be part of a study to find out if science can help match you with your soul mate. Neither of them actually looking for love. But you know what they say, you find love when you least expect it. For these two its's no different!
The famous question what would you do for money, and how much money would make it worth it comes into play. Amerie is in desperate need of money after her boyfriend cheater on her and she's on her own. Desperate times calls for desperate measures, so she signs up for the a scientific study and ends up happening to have sex with a stranger in front of scientist. The stranger is not really a stranger but Mufasa.
Mufasa is cocky, arrogant, impulsive and sexy as hell. He’s a musician who’s got every girl in town wrapped around his finger. All but one. The cold Amerie.
These two could not be anymore different, one is oil and the other water. She wants to kill him, and he wants to make sure laugh. The push, pull of their relationship I absolutely love. I love a slow burn build up to love and an actual relationship.
Amerie and Mufasa's relationship is full of ups and downs, and is for sure a roller coaster I wasn't expecting. I'm not sure what I went in expecting but I got way more. I love when characters evolve and they do. Amerie went from being the Ice Queen to in love, and Mufasa went from the wild musician who would never consider a long term relationship to love!
Every Karma Kingsley book I read leaves me wanting another! I can't wait to see what she does next!
Amerie broke up with her long-time boyfriend when she found out he was cheating on her. She was also having financial difficulties as well, but her roommate worked for a company that was looking for paid volunteers to take part in a study where they match you based on criteria with your soulmate. It just so happened that she was paired with a man she had previously met at a bar and a coffee shop (where she backed into him on his motorcycle) named Mufassa. The experiment had them meet for sex on a weekly basis and then slowly they had to start spending time together outside of the required meet date. She had her good moments but I found myself not liking her very much, I tried to be understanding related to her reject experience with her ex but after a while I found she constantly took it out on Mufassa. Not that he didn’t have his issues either - he was a serious player. Over time he really started to impress me, I could tell he was beginning to have serious feelings for her and I loved that he was so very patient with her (God knows I don’t think I could have). Overall I really enjoyed this book and you can’t go wrong with this author!

Amerie is a woman drowning in debt. She;s on her way to meet her boyfriend at the airport just knowing he;s going to break up with her. They head to her apartment which she shares with her bestie Jordan. After some loving time he tells her they need to take a break from each other. She;s in the dumps for days till Jordan gets her up and moving. She meets a new man at the bar only to find he;s just like her ex. Then her roomie and bestie talks her into joining her company in the beta testing. There after alot of grueling tests both physical and verbal she is introduced to the guy they want her to start with. The same guy she had met in the bar..Mufasa. This sexperiment is going either two ways...she;ll kill him or he;ll kill her. Or maybe it might just work out!!! An absolutely fantastic story that kept me totally engrossed in it. Fantastic read that will have you want to reread over and over!!

Sexperiment was an awesome read. It was funny, sexy, a strange experiment, but it did work for this couple. Amelie and Mufasa had a really bad first impression of one another. In fact it was like they couldn’t stand each other. But as time went on, they started to grow on each other. They didn’t always get along, or agree with each other, but after time, they couldn’t wait to be together. The sex was good between them. That was something they both looked forward to. And the experiment was definitely working for them. Their relationship was growing stronger as time went on and it appears they were a perfect match. Even with their ups and downs, as in every relationship, they made it work. It was a great read and I enjoyed it.
Amerie's reunion with her boyfriend starts off well but ends badly when he ends things with her. Then when her best friend drags her out to a night club things start to look up when she meets Mufasa. They have a great night and are about to leave together when a woman he came with throws a drink on Amerie. Another bad blow for her. Then the next day she runs into him at a coffee shop with a different woman they exchange words. As she is leaving she ends up running into his motorcycle. Not wanting to have her insurance pulled she offers to pay for the repairs which end up being high. So her bestie tells her about this project her work is doing for a ten thousand dollar pay out. Its a sex study where you are match with someone you're supposedly compatible with. She signs up for it and once she passes all the tests she meets the match imagine her surprise when in walks Mufasa. Can she do this experiment with him? What will they do if real feeling become involved?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the beginning. The chemistry is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Funny, witty, passionate, infuriating, one of a kind. ‘Sexperiment’ by the talented Karma Kingsley is a one-of-a-kind book you will not regret reading.
Throughout the book, we follow Amerie, a drop dead gorgeous accountant whose life has just been turned upside down by the cheater that’s her ex-boyfriend and whose in serious need of money to survive. When an opportunity comes to earn a lot of money, she jumps at the opportunity, but the only downside of this is that she will have to have sex with a stranger in front of a group of scientist who is trying to analyze match-making algorithms.
That Stranger though turns out to be not really a stranger but the asshole who keeps running into her. Mufasa is cocky, arrogant, impulsive and sexy as hell. He’s a musician who’s got every girl in town wrapped around his finger. All but one. The cold Amerie.
Their relationship isn’t the easiest there is. She hates him. He is amused by her. She wants to kill him. He wants to laugh at her. But one thing they have in common? Attraction. They are highly attracted to each other and when they touch, sparks fly and fires are lit.
Ice and Fire. Water and Oil. That is how their whole life is when they are together. They banter, they argue, they get mad at each other and do anything to piss each other off. But at the end of the day, no one can deny that what they are feeling is not part of the experiment.
Day by day they grow closer and closer, to the point that just the thought of staying apart hurts.
’Sexperiment’ is a unique book that has the power to make you laugh so hard your sides will hurt, while also managing to make you cry when you least expect it.
It is definitely worth all the back and forth of the characters and will not.
Amerie is so excited to see Yelvin, her long time boyfriend for the first time in 8 months. Their reunion starts out well until it falls apart. He wants to take a break but, of course he wanted sex before he left her. Her best friend and roommate, Jordan, decides that Amerie needs a night out and, at the club, she literally runs into a gorgeous and cocky wall of a man. Mufasa flirts with her and they decide to leave the club together. Things are looking up until his "date" throws her drink all over him. His first strike. Just her luck that she would keep running into him until she actually ran over his motorcycle. Without any money for repairs, she has to find something else that will earn her some money. Jordan works for Sexperiment, a scientific center for the study of sex, that is testing a beta program and Jordan suggests she sign up for it. For 10 weeks and $10,000 she and her "perfect match" will be told what to do, all the while being monitored. Seriously? When it's time to meet her "soul mate," of course it's Mufasa! Amerie immediately earns her nickname, Ice, because she's so cold, rude and sassy to Mufasa. He approaches her with a "let's get it over with" attitude and it's game on! For the next 10 weeks, they are hilarious, sad, witty, passionate and ultimately honest with each other. Watching what amounts to a slow seduction within the real world is something that is so well-written that I found myself laughing, sighing and hurting just a little. Sexperiment is a sexy story filled with fun!
Original construction of romance This book is one of those I liked a lot, without being filled with unpredictable reversals, but on the other hand, it is very well written, moving with some strong passages, with excellent characters who hate each other at the beginning. The most exciting is the original way they have to be forced to be together, without having chosen each other when they have tended to be arguing with each other before. Then, without always complying with the rules imposed, they build other links that real couples need to last. Amerie was betrayed by her ex boyfriend of 4 years, and when she goes out with her friend Jordan to change her mood, she meets Mufasa, but their meeting is interrupted by his ex who throws a drink on Amerie, who decides to go home. When she meets Mufasa again, he tries to pass in front of her in line, which she refuses, then he bumps into her which dirty her cloths and she ends up backing up in his motorcycle by accident, which costs her more than this she has. Out of spite and against payment, she accepts Jordan's offer to participate in a test of an application that would scientifically associate people who would be sexually compatible. His partner is none other than Mufasa and against all odds, they discover that they can stand each orther one hour per week. Yet the more time passes, the more difficult it is for them to respect the protocols of the program. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
The concept of the story was very unique and I loved that. It wasn't done in a sci-fi way if you know what I mean..m it's almost like this could happen. Who knows maybe it does in some unknown government lab in area 51 hahaha. Sorry! Anyway... The moment we met Mufasa I freaking loved him, he didn't put up with Amerie crappy attitude ... I did not like her at all, I did feel bad for her at the beginning but I found her to be to judgmental of things.. never wanted to step out of the box ... but eventually she thawed out lol... Her nickname is perfect hahaha. I did enjoy watching her struggle with her feelings though, maybe that's the sadist in me. I could understand her fear though of not trusting again. I also loved the humor, I don't know how many times I laughed or cracked a smile. I would definitely read this if you like high angst, steamy scenes and a whole lot of fun

Amerie is cautious because her ex-boyfriend cheated on her and Mufasa is a playboy who is scared of love. Both characters are damaged in their own way but together they found solace in each other. I have to say that the book surprised me, I guess I did not expect to be so entertained. It was a great read.

This book was given to me by booksprout. I am leaving this review freely. I enjoyed this book a lot. It has twists and turns in it to keep your attention. I loved it. Have you ever thought about being a beta tester for a dating site. Check the book out and see what you think. Hope to see you there.
This book was absolutely fantastic! It was beyond five stars! Amerie Smith has been cheated on by her ex-boyfriend of four years. She has a mountain of debt and between everything she needs an out. So her best friend talks her into taking part in a beta test of Sexperiment's new dating service. It would be a ten week study that would pay her 10K if all requirements are met. This seems like just what Amerie needed that is until she found out who she was coupled with...musician Mufasa Bendewa. He thinks he is God's gift to women and a total and complete jerk. But its only ten weeks, right? And she'll be 10K richer. Yeah, whats the worst that could happen?
Amerie is very much a straight-laced, play by the rules type of person. She's just been through the wringer and on the heels of a devastating breakup, she agrees to be a part of her best friend's Jordan's workplace "sexual experiment" as a way to get out of her rut and shake things up. When she's paired with Mufasa, who she's had previously unpleasant encounters with, things are off with a bang. They're only supposed to be relating to one another on a purely sexual, scientific level. As will happen, life gets in the way and they find themselves actually becoming increasingly involved with one another outside of the lab. Amerie has a past that lends itself to her being the perfectly planned person and Mufasa also has had a rough upbringing. Along the way, Amerie makes decisions that cause them both pain. Ultimately, she has to decide if love is worth the risk. In the end, they get their HEA.
Oh my....the heat factor here was steamy and fun. What would you do to straighten your finances out? Well Amerie and Mufasa (okay not crazy about the name) become part of an experiment for some rather nice money. These two have met previously for a few moments and attraction was there but contempt seems to have the lead role. That in itself makes for a funny building block to get the experiment started. I enjoyed every moment of these two characters learning each other in every way as well as learning a few things about themselves along the way. This was fun, hot and actually very entertaining. Would I recommend it? Yes Would I read another book by this author? Oh Yeah!
Sexperiment is a enemies to lovers with a twist tale. The reader will take a roller coaster ride of an experience as Mufasa and Amerie take park in Beta testing dating site. Expect to laugh, roll your eyes, get frustrated and watch as chemistry and intimacy is proven it isn't just about what goes on in the bedroom.
Read to find out if after the Beta test the two can be more than just participants in a testing to become exclusive.
I appreciated the writing style of this book. The writing seemed comfortable and effortless, almost like I was having these thoughts or seeing these scenes (dialogue/scenes) in my own head. While the characters each seemed to have their own immature moments, I never felt like the way the story flowed was effected in any way. Well done, really well done. I can't say I loved either the male or female lead at the very beginning of the story, but they grew on me and I loved them by the middle of the book. When an author can draw you in and make you want to slap or hug a character, I say that's a job well done. Thanks for a great entertaining read. I appreciate the ARC, and look forward to checking out more books by this author.
My mind was blown after reading this book! I can honestly say I have never read a book that involved this kind of situation. The author takes new age dating and takes it to extreme. The banter between the characters is interesting and captivating. They make the story that much better. There are unexpected twists and turns you will love and will keep your attention til the last word.
Money, sex and uncomfortable situations make this book different. Jus the title alone should tell you it’s about an experiment about sex. Amerie takes a bad situation that happens to her and makes it into a money making scheme she is not prepared for. The chemistry will set your kindle screen on fire and you won’t regret reading this book!
This is my first book by Karma Kingsley and I have to say I very much enjoyed it. There were quite a few times where I laughed or giggled, which I love in a book.
I didn’t like Amerie too much in the beginning. I felt like she was, as Mufasa says, an ice queen. She was unnecessarily cold towards him. But as the story went on and she actually allowed her self to fall for him, I begin to really like her. I really liked Mufasa. He’s sarcastic and funny. He also loves fiercely. These two together, compliment each other well and I really enjoyed watching them fall for each other.
Let me just say I loved Jordan. She’s the type of best friend I love. I hope she gets her story.
I've been waffling back and forth as to how to write this review, to be honest. I couldn't get into the book and connect with the characters like I've been able to in the past. The writing and story are well-written in my opinion, but the story just wasn't for me. I think the characters didn't fit right with the story. It took me an unusually longer time than normal to finish this book, but towards the end I really started getting into the story more and more. While the beginning wasn't my cup of tea, I overall did like the story, and eventually finished it with a smile.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
