There’s no going back. Martin Nash was once seven years old and longed for words of love from his mother. At thirty-five, he knows he’s never going to hear them from her. But he’s willing to kill for as long as it takes … until someone tells him the words.
As Dreya, Rhys, Quinn, and Simon discover the dangerous position they’re in by being Noble, they search for a way to fit exceptional into their everyday life. While old habits provide a never-ending challenge going forward, no one would go back.
Nobility transformed them and their lives. Nobility, a genetic modification created by Dr. Anthony Lazar, uses latent animal DNA to cage the human ego and bring mankind a higher moral code free of envy, greed, and jealousy. Noble means possessing an exceptional character in the face of adversity. Dreya, Rhys, Quinn, and Simon discover being Noble and exceptional in a human world isn’t easy.
In the midst of this uncertainty, Dreya puts herself in the line of fire with a serial killer who has a fetish for eyeballs. What she doesn’t know is … Nothing is safe and nowhere is private. It’s not a good time to have secrets.
*** Read in Kindle Unlimited *** This is the third book in the Dreya Love series and it picks up pretty much where book two ended. The plot and character development are great and the relationship progression between Dreya and the guys is spot on
Thoughts: Wow, I so love this series!! The characters and detail are so deep it’s like I’m physically there. This series will definitely make you think along with see things from a different perspective. The case of the serial killer and what drove him was heartbreaking but so was the loss of the women he killed. Very deep and I loved it! And YAY, there’s finally some sex!! This is definitely not a smut series but so worth the read!! I enjoy the story, the journey that leads them to the explosive sex and HEA. The longer it takes means there will be many books and as a reader that loves revisiting characters with new adventures I couldn’t be happier! A must read if you love the journey more than the destination.
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.
Sorry no spoilers of any kind because I’m not the type that does that. So this is all I’m going to say about this book and that is I thought it was freaking fantastic! But then again every book that I read of Dana Lyons has been awesome, which is probably why she’s one of my favorite authors. Anyway yes I most definitely recommend this book but if you haven’t read the first two books then I highly suggest that you do otherwise you will get a little confused as to who’s who and what’s what!
Secrets, book 3 of the Dreya Love series, is my favorite book so far. I'm getting weary of all the Nobility references, but the plot development was great, and the relationship progression between the characters was terrific. Nice twist at the end--I can't wait to see what's in store for us in the next book.
I have given this book a four instead of a five star rating because I want more from the author! More depth, more character development and a longer more involved story line! Yes, I recommend this book. It's a good book but with more work this could be a great book and series! 😀
While adjusting to their lives back on earth and living with nobility, Freya and her men have been given a serial killer case to solve. Good plot that kept my interest, but would love to see some more character development.
