The Charmed Collection

Rate this book
Dark secrets, carnal spells, and breathless love. Reluctant medium, Emma Boulton, finds herself saddled with the ghost of Ian O’Meara, a strict, Irish school teacher. Despite her best efforts to help him toward the light, he’s more interested in finding a way into her bed. Falling in love with the charming spirit is far too easy, but is a future possible between the living and the dead? Instead of casting a protection spell as intended, Rowan Spencer ends up conjuring an ancient Celtic god—a gorgeous, naked god who's looking for a sacrifice. However, Gwidion finds he'd rather bind Rowan to him for his pleasure and build a life together—a life that isn't theirs to have. Meaghan Boulton thinks a steamy hookup at a wedding is a great idea. It's only later she discovers her one-night stand is a cop who now suspects she may be involved in a crime. Using a scrying spell, she tries to convince him of her innocence, and in turn, he convinces her that being restrained by a police officer isn't always a bad thing. Magic rarely goes as planned—particularly when ghosts, Celtic gods and police officers with a taste for rope get involved. Falling in love is a bit like magic—unexpected, exciting, and binding in every sense of the word.

Very pleasant dreams

In all the upheaval of many publishing houses falling on hard times and closing their doors, a wonderful thing is happening. Book rites are reverting to the authors. They are then being dusted off, polished up a bit, and sent off into the world again. Some amazing gems are resurfacing for fans to read again or, as in this case, to discover for the first time. This is one of those gems.

Check out that cover. Isn't it amazing? Then open it up and discover not one, not two, but three fun novellas with hot romance, *fanning self* magic, mystery, and maybe even a little mayhem all stirred together for some very entertaining reading. Wonderful bedtime stories for very pleasant dreams.

I picked up this collection at Between The Covers in Holland, MI. I'm a big fan of anything made locally, and I'm also a big fan of good romance. This book fits both categories. I loved the second novella the most, but the entire collection is a satisfying read. Romance and erotica? Can't go wrong there!

Great trilogy of hot stories!

I really enjoy this author. Her characters are legit and the H’s are smokin. I enjoyed each of the stories, but the third one was the best. I enjoyed getting to read the resolution to the problem presented in the first tale. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author and her witchy ways.
