This book kept my attention completely. I finished it in one day - without reading the end first as I usually do. It is very easy to read. It is relevant, clean, fresh, and Christian without being preachy. Carl White has been a pastor in my area for years. While I do not know him personally, I know of him. He is respected in our area. He is retired now, but his years of being a pastor lend authenticity to his first novel.
