A lone New York City police detective searches for a missing young woman who works in World Trade Center 7, but during his investigation he discovers mysterious activities in the building, just before September 11th, 2001.
Building was cleared before the pull. Could not have survived on eighth floor of flattened building. Mossad, yes, definitely, incontrovertible. Osama total myth.
First point. I should never read books such as this. They tend to feed my conspiracy theory jag. Second point. This book ended very abruptly. What happened to Jacqueline Aldrich? What about all police officers who were killed? It looks the the author just ran out of steam and ended the book in mid air.
Leverages several issues I have retained about 9/11 into a compelling yarn. While I enjoyed the way the story came together and the key characters, didn’t like who got pegged as the hidden hand behind it all. Otherwise would have given all five stars.
WRONG, if I had an inkling this was conspiracy BS, I would be e never even attempted to buy or read, turned a decent police mystery, into unbelievable and in my mind patriotic injustice.
Hard to put down. Was drawn in immediately by its characters and the history of this terrible attack. Very real and frightening story surrounding the events of 9/11.
Relatively enjoyable book until last paragraph. I HATE endings like this. To me it is either laziness on the author’s part or just not an overall plan on the plot.
This book was outstanding. When I bought it I didn't realize it was a novel, but when I started to read it, I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book.
