An introduction to kangaroos that looks at kangaroo characteristics, habitat, diet, and mother-child interactions as it follows a baby kangaroo from birth to independence.

These Explore My World books are the right balance of amount of text, captivating photographs, and little interactive activities and questions for little kids. It manages to be a quick, easy read that is also highly informative. Highly recommended for curious kids and animal lovers.

This might have been my favorite non-fiction book about kangaroos that we used in our unit on kangaroos. The text is informative and fun, and the photos are great.
