Cam’s story continues as the Gator Girlz business continues to thrive under her leadership, but will self-doubt jeopardize her relationship when Bugsy reveals the family moonshine business to an unsuspecting Luce? Will a devastating injury to Sandy end her career as a gator hunter or will it open a door to love? Join the St. Angelo family for a third adventure to find out more about life, loving and family in Bayou Country.
I am a native Floridian who is temporarily (I hope) displaced in Memphis, TN. for work purposes, however I hope to make it home to a partner of 17 years and our family as quickly as I can. I enjoy photography as a hobby along with spinning a good tale.
I am American by birth and Southern by the Grace of God. LOL I enjoy writing about the south and creating characters and events that I hope my readers enjoy as much as I have in creating them.
I have read all three in the series and even with the passage of time, I loved the continuation of the story. I've been lobbying for a fourth to bridge the gap in the years and tell a bit more of the story of how Luce and Cam came to be. I also wouldn't mind a new story featuring Sandy. So, I suppose that means two more books! What I love about this series is the focus on the St. Angelo family and how they cope and band together. I also loved learning about moonshine and gator hunting. Both very fascinating. As always, food and family, two topics I am quite happy to read about play in the background of this engaging love story.
Once again the author makes you feel every emotion with her words and you can see the beautifully, colorful surroundings and you almost taste the ice cold beer and the food. Oh yeah, the food made me very hungry. Not only that but also an excellent plot with laughter, a hunting drama, a lot of love, great interactions, family traditions and Southern lifestyle. And then the characters. It’s impossible to not fall in love with Cam and the other Gator Girlz. They are strong, humorous and down to earth women. I certainly hope that Ali Spooner will continue to write their story. A top-notch read. Check it out yourself, you won't regret it.
I loved this whole series. Ali Spooner did a beautiful job of describing the family, the Bayou, love and there is some lost. It's like you were there right in the middle of the family fun and sadness. I have always like Cam from the start, but Sandy was my favourite. Seeing her grown up and doing what she loved and looking up to Cam made this book. But like some other readers the lost of 10 years was kinda sad. But I understand why it was done. Beautiful job Ali Spooner. I would definitely recommend this book (series)
A way of life for women that is sustainable with hard work, creative living and lots of love.
This 3rd book in the Gator girlz story was so good. The last book left me with a heartache for Cam and her family. The characters are so lovable that you can't put the book down. It was a watershed moment to see how they have thrived without their Mom. Even though there was more sadness and a few really scary moments their resilience was fabulous. To make a living catching gators is beyond a life I could imagine but Ali Spooner not only gives vision but great care. These women take everyday in stride with a land and cultural that can be harsh. So looking forward to the next book to see how they grow. This was a great read that touches the heart.
I so love the writing style of Ms. Spooner. Her characters are relatable and authentic. The plots are engaging and the love is profoundly powerful. The St. Angelo family is united with each other and their community. A beautifully told story of the obstacles one faces in the Bayou ... but the significant impact for me was the tight knit family. I would like them to adopt me and allow me to live on the Island with a beautiful and compassionate partner. I highly recommend all of Ms. Spooner’s works. Thank you Peace
This book is riviting I loved the story line All three books in the series are great You will not be disappointed You laugh you cry and you see the love of a good Southern family This is a great series
Started on this one as soon as I completed the 2nd book! Love this family! Love watching these girls grow up to be strong women with such deep family connection.
I am so loving the Gator Girlzs series. This is the 3rd installment and I think that True North just might be my favorite. We meet new characters that we laugh and cry with. Ali Spooner you did a wonderful job with this series and I'm hoping there will be a 4th. You keep writing an I'll keep reading.
